This is the 2nd Benchmade knife I've purchased and both have been exceptional knives. The 1st one I lost in a hay field and replaced it with another Benchmade. Both have stood up to tough, daily use and retained their edge beyond what I would expect. Excellent knives!!

I've had this knife for over 10 years at this point. I love that you can open and shut it one handed with just a quick wrist flick. It's never come open accidentally and I feel really safe carrying it around. It's been through wash, dropped in the mud and generally abused. Despite all this it's holding up amazingly and looks about as good as it did new. The wooden scales are some kind of moisture resistant material that is super durable. Knife is exactly as ordered however the clip on the knife shows wear, as if it’s used instead of new, and the box appears worn as well…..for an item advertised as new, and priced as new, the quality isn’t that of a new knife! Disappointed as it’s a Christmas gift but there’s no time for exchange/return, so hopefully my son doesn’t care😞

I have a number of Benchmade knives ranging from $150 to $600 in cost. This one is the least ergonomic one I have ever purchased. It just does not sit in the hand well. The locking mechanism is nice and similar to other models. The thing that disappointed me the most was the sharpness out of the box. Again, I have a number of benchmades, and out of the box they average around 250 BESS. This one had a few measurements depending where I took it, but the average came out to just under 400.

Bought this for the wife for her edc. She loves it. Uses it constantly. Worth every penny.

It's a benchmade so the quality is there, but it is super small and feels kind of cheaply made.

I rarely take the time to write a review but felt compelled to write one for this product. I gave it a one-star rating only because I had to at least give it one star. I purchased this same knife two times previously. I ordered a NEW knife and received a USED one. There’s masking tape on the box. The knife doesn’t lock in open position.

I purchased this knife in December 2019 for $119.21.Pros:-Wood handles are unique and can look very classic-Knife is a good balance of thin behind the edge without being fragile, so it can cut delicate objects okay-Has a nice opening action that can open and close one handed-American made and serviceable, Benchmade will also repair it if you send it inCons:-Buying online means you could end up with wood handles that are ugly sense it's purely luck-Mine came with a slight blade alignment
