I purchased this knife in December 2019 for $119.21.
Pros:
-Wood handles are unique and can look very classic
-Knife is a good balance of thin behind the edge without being fragile, so it can cut delicate objects okay
-Has a nice opening action that can open and close one handed
-American made and serviceable, Benchmade will also repair it if you send it in
Cons:
-Buying online means you could end up with wood handles that are ugly sense it's purely luck
-Mine came with a slight blade

Dieses Messer ist ein Absoluter Traum!Nicht umsonst mein lieblingsmesser!Man muss nur beachten das es nicht geführt werden darf, da es sich um ein Einhandmesser handelt. Deshalb ausschließlich im eigenen Garten verwenden!Besonders gut gefällt mir neben der wunderbaren Form noch der schöne natürlich aussehende Griff in Holzoptik.Die Qualität ist wie bei Benchmade üblich geradezu perfekt. Das Axislock ist einfach unfassbar gut läuft ausgezeichnet.Kurzum: absolute Kaufempfehlung!!!

I've always preferred fixed blades- but, this may be the knife to convert me to a folder fanboy! The action on this folder is excellent. It's an addicting flipper! The diamond wood is very attractive. I bought it to expand the family of my Hidden Canyon, and am not disappointed. I was worried about receiving an "ugly" grain. But, the one I got is pretty nice. I'm very happy with my purchase. Let's break it down:
Blade- very sharp out of the box, nice shape for multiple

I am very pleased with this knife which has instantly made me a fan of Benchmade. It still has the nostalgic look and feel of wood, while using modern materials and design.#1: Quality is very high. Opening/closing has a perfect balance between being smooth/quiet while still feeling sturdy (without any side to side blade movement).#2: You can not beat the AXIS lock system for ease of use and safety. AXIS locks are the easiest locking mechanism to use because you use the full griping strength

I love this knife! It feels great and has a great locking mechanism. It flips open pretty well after a bit of practice too. My one problem with it is that the stain is pretty dark. I ordered a replacement hoping that wood variation would be brighter but to my disappointment, it was still very dark. I hope that over time the wood lightens up a bit to match my preferences. Other than the aesthetics, this thing is amazingly functional and plenty sharp for most day-to-day use.

Knife is beautiful. Really good workmanship. Unfortunately it is not "shaving sharp". Of course in every city there is a "knife community" and it is easy to find someone who knows how to sharpen this blade. Also wood colour is different on both sides. On one is like mahogany (rather dark), on another more like oak. Not a tragedy, but for this pice they should mach both sides IMHO. After proper sharpening knife is amazing!! If you hesitate - don't - knife is worth it - but

Wow what a knife! This is going to be a great EDC for me. Bench made strikes again.
I just opened it and couldn’t be happier upon first impression:
Blade is straight, perfectly tight when locked, easy for one handed open, !sharp!, fits real nicely in my hand, great balanced feel, and a truly handsome piece. It will fit nicely in the corner of my pocket and trust it will stay closed and out of the way. The clip is snug and with a little flexing now slides In securely.
Only downside i see is that

I would never consider Benchmade knives to be a great value and feel that they are a bit pricier than they should be. That being said, I love their knives and have fallen in love with the Axis Lock, so I keep buying them.
While still fairly expensive at $130, this knife contains a lot of the build qualities of their higher end models that cost quite a bit more. You're getting G10 (in my case) which is nicer than their grivory or versaflex, plasticy options. You get a nice open flow-through

Perfect size for me.
I have similar knives from Buck Knives, a company I really like, who stands behind their product.
My focus is USA MADE but I also give foreign company’s a look at.
Anyway the Bechmade lock system is so much better than liner lock....solid...positive...easy to use.
Buy it.

Ich habe bereits mehrere ältere Benchmades in meiner Sammlung und habe mich aufgrund des Dymondwood-Griff-Designs und der S30V Klinge für den North-Fork-Folder entschieden. Eigentlich ein netter "gentleman-folder" den man auch mal in der Arbeit für diverse Schneidearbeiten verwenden kann, ohne gleich schräge Blicke von den Kollegen zu ernten.Das war dann leider aber schon das Positive. Die Klinge kam unzentriert, mit mehreren Millimetern horizontalem Klingenspiel daher. Selbst das
