| | 1,0 von 5 Sternen Embarrassing | 10/12/2023
The 'Little Prince' is rocket science compared to this. Change, coming from the outside is unavoidable. You have to embrace it. That's the message, which is bloated to 96 pages. I would be ashamed if I would be the author of this book. And I feel embarrassed that I feel into the trap an actually brought it.

| | 5.0 out of 5 stars A timeless and insightful parable that inspires readers to embrace change | 30/11/2023
My summary from Littler Books: 1. The book is a parable in which two mice, Sniff and Scurry, and two "little people," Hem and Haw, search for cheese in a maze. It illustrates the way one reacts to major changes in one's work and life, and typical reactions to those changes. 2. The two mice, Sniff and Scurry, exhibit a simplistic approach to finding cheese in a maze, without overthinking or becoming frustrated. 3. In contrast, the little people, Hem and Haw, rely on strategies and

I had to sit through a presentation of this at work. It was ridiculous and childish. The manager that organized the event was fired within 6 months. I can’t say the manager was fired because of this book but it certainly didn’t help.

| | 5,0 von 5 Sternen We moved our cheese | 13/10/2023
I like this book because it makes people to reflect about changes occurring in their personal or professional lives and how it can be accepted and changed to better. I gave five stars because I can relate to it. We were health professionals in Brazil and we decided to move to America. I was skeptical of this change but my wife was very excited and happy. I had hard times to accept it I could not see the light at the end of the tunnel or the handwriting on the wall. After years leaving in

| | Short but sweet. | 23/09/2023
Dr Spencer Johnson has created a lovely concise parable that I think many will be able to relate to. With just 4 characters, each with wildly different personalities, he's managed to capture what the majority of us experience: change, and how we deal with change. The short parable shows us how different people respond to unexpected change, and how some responses can lead to finding joy again while others, may not. It challenges those with a stubborn mindset to loosely hold what we enjoy and

| | New Cheese. | 03/09/2023
Well worth a read, definitely puts things into perspective in such a simple way. I’ve been stuck in a situation in my personal life for so long, this gave me the insight to find ‘New Cheese’ to improve my life instead of being stagnant and stuck in the same situation. You’ll be surprised how effective this simple story is! Definitely one to keep onto and reflect on.
| | 5,0 von 5 Sternen Excellent book | 01/09/2023
This story is helpful with understanding how change can be fearful and how to go with the flow rather than avoid change. Change is usually a good thing if people let it be.
| | 1.0 out of 5 stars Awful book | 28/08/2023
One of my past employers inflicted this steaming pile on all employees. The message of this book is basically: all change is good, and if you don't see that, you're the problem. The message that was rammed down our throats was that we should accept and love all changes coming from above because if you aren't an executive you're to stupid to have an opinion.
| | a good read | 27/08/2023
I don’t like motivational books much but this book made it easy to look at the issues using a cheese in the maze analogy.

| | 5,0 von 5 Sternen So many profound lessons in such a simple story | 21/07/2023
This book came highly recommended to me and I don't regret reading it one bit. It's a pretty simple allegory about two mice and two little people inside a maze and the pursuit of cheese. It exemplifies the fear and frustration we go through as things in our life change. You identify with the least one of these characters, but more than likely he'll identify with all. Change is a powerful force that we can't control, but the story helps us explore ways to better adapt.
| | 3,0 von 5 Sternen Hot garbage: 55% of the book is spent telling you why it's a good book. | 16/07/2023
Fully 55% of this book is spent exuding the virtues of reading "the story" (the middle 45% about mice) and applying that to your life. The text is advocating that people adapt to changes. It doesn't advocate a single idea about HOW to do so. Who Moved My Cheese also makes no attempt to communicate that neuroticism-level is linked to change-adversity. Learning about this can help people learn coping skills to better address changes in work & life. Unfortunately, there's no
