Bei der ISY BOX handelt es sich um ein HDD Festplatten-Gehäuse 3,5" SATA (I/II/III)

Ich habe mir das Gehäuse für 2 HDDs besorgt da es mit Festplatten >20 TB ohne Probleme zurecht kommt.
Das Gehäuse ist schön klein und hat auf der Vorderseite einen ON/OFF Druckschalter. Die LED-Anzeigen sind gut zu erkennen, strahlen abbricht zu hell. Der Ventilator in der Rückseite kann manuell geschaltet werden ( 3 Stufen ) und ist nicht sehr

Ich habe bei meiner Synology DS223 beide Festplatten gegen neue mit größerer Kapazität ausgetauscht. Die beiden bisherigen Laufwerke sollten als externe(s) Laufwerk(e) weiter betrieben werden, vorzugsweise im RAID1-Modus. Zu diesem Zweck habe ich die ICY-Box erworben.
Meine Erfahrungen sind bisher durchaus positiv: Der Einbau der Laufwerke ist einfach, die Konfiguration des RAID-Modus ist auch keine Hexerei. Neben den drei Lüftergeschwindigkeiten gibt es dort auch noch die Einstellung
