I bought mine back in the late 1980's when they were "the thing" for young professionals..... I had just started full-time employment and fell for the hype. Pricey for the times (I believe I paid around $100 back then), it does have a classy look - but, for me, it was not a practical EDC pen. My job required signatures and notes frequently throughout the day and I soon found the twist action of the pen a bit tedious and I didn't find the feel of the pen particularly comfortable

Purtroppo, seppure la merce è conforme, per problemi burocratici che non mi appartegono, non hanno emesso fattura seppure richiesta. Ad averlo saputo, avrei comprato direttamente in un negozio direttamente con regolare fattura. Purtroppo è sempre lo stesso problema. Il presente ordine era generato da una partita iva regolarmente iscritta ad AMAZON. Peccato.

Nice pen but does not have a dealer stamp so the warranty is not valid and there was a very visible scuff in the gold around the nib of the pen.

This is a gorgeous and elegant instrument. Sort of Art Deco. I have been given 5 or 6 of these over the years as gifts – no. I have never bought one. The problem, at least for me, is that they don’t write very well. I even ordered a genuine Montlanc refill once just in case I had been given a counterfeit pen. Unfortunately, the refills were no better. I still occasionally keep one in my pocket to make me look elegant, but I write with an expensive BIC or Pilot which I find writes very well.

I have a large collection of these pens. Except for the mini pen, they are all over $400, and most cost far more. Be aware of imitations and buy at a Montblanc store.
