Iv had a few hose guns over the years and what Iv found is the plastic becomes brittle and break with the weathering so this metal one will hopefully be a lot more sturdy but only time will tell
So far it has worked perfectly and does feel like a quality hose gun for extended periods of time the trigger does become a bit hard to keep pressed down so I just push the red trigger and keeps it on without the need to keep it pressed down it works perfectly
I would give it 5 stars but don’t know how

Usual spray options, great having the ability to “lock” the spray on. No need to keep holding the release button. Makes this much easier to use

Previously had the same but in plastic, this is such an advance on that. Very easy to hold and super strong. Looking forward to when I will use it everyday to water the garden, lots of different sprayer controls. Worth the extra money.

Wish I’d have just got this from the start as it’s really good quality and I guess time will tell but I’m expecting it to last.

This is a fabulous product in terms of sturdiness and ease of holding and operation; however, the multi jet leaked and did not provide what it said on the tin. it leaked consistently whilst being operated and I ended up with wet feet

My first one lasted years but the last 4 years Ive had to replace every year. This one lasted less than 5 months before it starting spraying water from the sides in every direction - absolutely rubbish! This is the last hozelock one I’ll buy.

This is sturdy and easy to fit/use on the garden hose. An earlier Hoselock was left out in freezing conditions and broke so it's advisable to take the trigger off in very cold weather.

I’ve had lots of garden spray guns in metal or plastic, and you get what you pay for. Hozelok are consistently good, so long as you take care not to drop them.

I thought buying this premium product would have lasted, but sadly not. Wish I’d read the other reviews about the problems others have experienced. Not heavily used and trigger is stuck in on position and won’t release. Won’t be buying another one, and most likely won’t be buying a hozelock product. Sure a cheaper one would have lasted longer

| Failed Trigger Mechanism | 14.02.2024
I have bought two of these Hozelock trigger guns and in both cases they have failed after about 10 months of use. The trigger mechanism becomes faulty which means it is no longer possible to cut off the water supply by releasing the trigger. No amount of cleaning the device has been helpful.

It was working fine a few times but it started leaking quite heavily from under the yellow ring which switches the type of spraying . Requested the new one .

Used gun occasionally for 3 months, now failed & leaking very badly - unusable. Disappointed.
Nothing to do with the cost but will be asking for a replacement as a matter of principle.

Thought I would purchase this as looked sturdy being part metal and slightly more expensive than the plastic version. I was disappointed after using a few times as started to leak at the front nozzle end. Won't buy again and yes I did fit it to other Hozelock parts.

We had a similar one, but it leaked quite a lot. We replaced it with a more expensive one, and yes this one is well worth the money. No leaky bits!!! 👍

Don’t know why if it was just this one but the moment you switched the water on the gun kept shooting off and it was attached to hoselok fitting , sadly returned as not fit for purpose

ThisSpry Gun hose has added another edged to watering your garden. Earlier plastic Spray hose attachments have had some failures, when manually compressed parts made from plastic have been found to fail over some length of time. I myself had a Spray gun hose attachment that did just that, The Spray head was perfect condition all except this little part failed. Parts of this HOZELOCH Spray gun are made from metal and so far it is performing well,

Does it's job and will last. Great quality. You might find cheaper but you won't beat Hozelock quality. We have given up on cheaper brands as our garden equipment gets left out in all weather and gets a good bashing all summer - Hozelock just goes on and on.

Shame it does not last. Caveat Emptor Read the Reviews about Trigger Sticking | 28.11.2023
Hozelock know that this product does not last but they keep shipping it out. Even after me telling Hozelock the gun was not fit for purpose, buyers are still reporting the sticking trigger in July 2023. What does that say about Hozelock management? Well why wouldn't they keep shipping when the keep making profits on a rubbish gun.
You will be extremely lucky if this "premier" gun [2691P6001] lasts out the warranty period. Poor reviews for the same problem go back to 14th August

Great product the focused stream and spray are really good as they both generate a decent enough pressure to release a fair amount of water . Also the metal build is a preference as the plastic hozelock stuff is questionable . Overall the 2 streams have large enough variability as well being able to stop water stream is great for gardening all year round.

Purchased the "premium" option having got fed up of having the "standard plastic" Hozelock spray guns last 18-36 months before failing - hoped to get a longer lifetime out of this one - sadly, almost immediately it's started leaking water out the back and bottom of the spray pattern selector ring. I've tightened the screw on the front, it makes no difference. Item has not been outside in frost.
6 months old - reported to Amazon who say to contact Hozelock... Contact
