Mein bisheriges Braas Dachausstiegsfenster (aus Kunststoff) war nach 15 Jahren komplett porös. Anstelle wieder das selbe Kunstoffenster einzubauen habe ich mich für die bessere Version für halb soviel Geld entschieden. Das Fenster von Velux ist wirklich Top für das Geld. Außenrahmen ist aus Alu, mit einer echten Glasscheibe und die Innenseite ist aus Holz. Das Fenster wird innen mit Blechstreifen am Gebälk fixiert. Ausbau, Einbau ca. 90 Minuten problemlos.

Mit den Velux Dachfenster, habe ich das nach 17 defekt von Braas getauscht, bei dem sich das Plastik gebrochen ist. Das Braas gibt es noch zu kaufen, aber kostet das Doppelte. Bei Velux bekommt man anstelle von Plastik ein Glasfenster mit Aluminum. Der innere Teil ist Holz. Gefallen hat mir außerdem das man das Fenster geöffnet einrasten kann und das die Halterungen zum Verschrauben mit dem Dach aus Metall sind.

Installed and cured the persistent leak from the Victorian cast iron one it replaced. So much more light! My only complainit is the quality of the latch, it is a bit cheap and has no lock so I will replace eventually. It does work but I had to stick a piece of foam to the latch handle as it hits the glass when I open the window. Apart from that a great replacement for an 1850 skylight. If English heritage get on you back about making it look authentic you can make it look correct by using self

Zunächst war ich etwas misstrauisch, weil der Preis im Vergleich zu anderen angebotenen Fenstern sehr niedrig war. Aber das Fenster ist wirklich von Velta und von sehr guter Qualität. Werde im Sommer ein zweites Fenster bestellen.

Traurig das velux so etwas schlechtes herstellt. Silikon quillt an den Gärungen raus. Bleche komplett verbogen. 20€ Nachlass bekommen. Eine Frechheit nichts ist das Fenster wert. Finger weg von diesem Produkt. Lässt sich nicht komplett öffnen stößt an die Dachziegeln, kann man schon auf den Bildern erkennen, das es nicht funktionieren kann

Das schornsteinfegertaugliche Ausstiegsfenster ist genau das Produkt, das ich haben wollte und brauchte. Die Produktbeschreibung ist präzise und umfassend. Sie wird voll erfüllt. Der Einbau war problemlos und gut. Der Service von Perfekt Bau war bei aufkommenden Problemen sehr lobenswert. Ein beim Transport beschädigtes Fenster wurde schnell und freundlich ausgetauscht.

das Fenster läßt sich trotz 100% korrekten Einbau nicht weit genug öffnen und stößt gegen die Dachpfannen. Im Bild oben ist es schon fast zu erkennen. Schiebt man die Pfannen weiter seitlich, ist es nicht mehr dicht. Das Fenster kann man wegwerfen.

Für einen einigermaßen geübten Do-it-yourself-Renovierer ist der Einbau leicht zu berwerkstelligen. An der Qualität habe ich nichts auszusetzen, was umso erstaunlicher ist, da der Preis incl. Versand günstig ist.
