After approx two and a half years the sensor packed in, I think for the price that's not good, have a cheaper
one that's been operating for four years without any problems. Nice looking light , but looks over substance?
I think not.

Adds light and character to my old house. Duck to dawn sensor works well.
Update: My light is west facing so takes a long time to turn off in the morning, the light sensor is too slow to switch off. Fine to switch on. Not the end of the world.

Lifespan? - remains to be seen. | 04-12-2021
We had a previous version of the same lamp bought in 2016. That lamp is still going strong but the sensor died about a year ago. So maybe not quite five years full value from it. Since then we've been lighting it using the manual switch. Decided to buy another as want the security aspect of it lighting up callers to our front door on dark nights. I would have considered other lamps but my partner particularly likes the design so trying again. It is a fair bit more expensive than some others.

Plastik statt Aluminium | 05-03-2021
Da in der Beschreibung Aluminium steht und der Preis auch vergleichsweise im mittleren Segment, habe ich mit einem qualitativ ordentlichen Produkt gerechnet. Aber geliefert wurde nur billiger plastik Ramsch. Man muss schon lange und sehr genau suchen, um das angegebene Aluminium zu finden um. Fast die komplette Lampe besteht aus Kunststoff. Deshalb geht sie wieder zurück.

This well designed product is nearly perfect. My only criticism is the glass dome: I would have preferred to have a hardened plastic one which would be more likely to survive being dropped. Recommended.

Fantastic light fitting. We used with one of those led retro filament bulbs had an orangey look to it!! The main benefit over other lamps is that it is bug proof and so won’t fill up with little dead animals.

Der Dämmerungsschalter funktioniert nicht. Resultat: Auch bei Tageshelligkeit schaltet sich die Lampe ein.
Eine Ersatzlampe hatte genau das gleiche Problem. Außerdem wurde nur eine Hutmutter mitgeliefert.
Von der Optik her ansprechend. Das war es dann auch.

Bueno, pero sorpresa con sensor | 31-07-2019
Un buen y bonito aplique que instalé fácilmente pero que después no funcionaba. Unicamente desmontandolo descubrí que el mismo aplique llevaba un sensor crepuscular, lo cual en sí es bueno, pero que no había podido entender de la descripción del producto. Precisamente lo buscaba sín, porque toda mi instalación exterior lleva un sensor central.
Pero, aparte de este detalle, el producto es bueno.

Der unbedingt notwendige Kondenswasser-Ablauf am tiefsten Punkt des Innenraums fehlt, auch wenn in der Anleitung darauf hingewiesen wird, den Sockel so zu montieren, dass das Loch unten ist. Es gibt aber gar kein Loch, außer man macht selbst eins rein.
Unter Berücksichtigung der für das Pressen notwendigen Kegel habe ich eine Kerbe in die tiefste Stelle der Dichtfläche des Sockels gefeilt.

No need for a PIR movement or dawn to dusk sensors, as you can get LED lamps with integral sensors. I fitted it under my front porch canopy with a 12W LED 1080LM with dawn to dusk sensor only (B077S5KS1M), as I want it to be on when it is dark as a deterrent. (I also have a security light with a PIR which comes on with movement.) Gives a brilliant 360 degree light, the whole of the front garden, path, canopy and door step. Perfect replacement for my existing globe light that had corroded. Robust

Nach 1 Jahr und 7 Monaten versagte der Dämmerungsschalter und ließ sich nicht reparieren. Der Verkäufer wollte beim Hersteller die kurze Lebensdauer reklamieren. Es gab aber von ihm keine Rückmeldung.
