Super second album | 08/07/2023
No difficult second album syndrome here as Wolf Alice improve on their super first record with a set of songs with catchy singles and deeper more thoughtful tracks too. Not a weak song with a perfect running length . Great guitar work and always interesting lyrics beautifully sung not to mention great drumming. Why haven’t they conquered the world.

Disappointing for me. I expected more but the production is terrible. It’s like listening to their music on a 1970s radio. Even in expensive headphones it sounds crap. Sorry, not for me.

I've was looking for this double album for some time the price keep going up and not so much down but found this copy from London for under $40. I came across the song don't delete the kisses randomly on a show I was streaming fell in love couldn't find the record but blue Monday just came out so I got that it is a great album but still always surching for this record it a little noiser faster and has ddtk on it I was so happy to get this this band has turned me on to a lot of great

Great band and they just keep getting better with each album, even the various bonus tracks are good. They are awesome live as well. Give this band a chance, go see them live if you get the chance.

Awesome band from the UK | 10/10/2022
I discovered Wolf Alice a year ago and love their music. They are such nice people too and you can tell on their video interviews that they have great chemistry as true artists. They have.a broad variety of music, lyrics, and styles across their 3 albums. This is a group whose music gets better the more times I listen to it. Some sound odd at first, then they grow on you, and you’ll notice more subtleties in the sound layers. I’m posting this same review on all 3 albums since I have all.

J'adore ce groupe et l'album est excellent et hautement recommandable , mais le pressage vinyle est médiocre, à l'image de la pochette du vinyle qui ressemble à un scan agrandis de la pochette du cd. le rendu sonore est sombre, pas de dynamique, complètement bouché. je recommande la version cd (que j'ai acquis par la suite) qui n'a rien à voir d'un point de vue qualitatif. Bref, édition à fuir pour les amateur de vinyle comme moi.

the products were promoted as an order for three cds, the two which arrived were great, i had accepted the order before opening it, as it was merely left halfwat through my letter box, on opening i realised there were only two, not three items as ordered!

Record plays and tracks well. Album is great. Gatefold sleeve and record itself look good. Overall superb condition. Glad I was able to add this one to my collection as I also have My Love is Cool.

I'm a 49 year old man and I was late to the party on these artists. Their music speaks to me, it moves me in a way that only happens every decade or two. I can put each album on, start to finish, just like reading a book. Their music is a part of life now, up there with the greats and classics. True art, that gets better with each spin.

Absolutely outstanding. Very rare these days to get goosebumps when listening to a new record; equally rare to know within five or six listens that it's a record you'll be listening to for the rest of your life. Quite a varied sound (track 8 sounds like Blondie- that was when the goosebumps started) without being in any way showy. In fact, the whole thing fits together perfectly. Thank God for genuine talent- stands out like diamond in a sea of crud.

Wolf Alice is the best new rock band I have heard in this latest decade, the 2010s. I have (almost) only good things to say about this album. The track that grabbed my attention first was `Don`t Delete the Kisses` which got me to remember when I was younger and falling in love time and again. Good memories. Ich kann zwar hier keine Nähen zur 80er Indie Szene feststellen (wenn man bei einzelnen Songs aber festsellen kann, dass Wolf Alice genau bei den Cocteau Twins zugehört haben), eher zu frühen 90er Indie Doyens wie Slowdive.
Mit dem Unterschied, dass Wolf Alice auch krachig können und nicht nur Dream Pop/Shoegaze. Auch wenn die schon genannten Slowdive, Chapterhouse oder auch My Bloody Valentine eindeutig Pate standen. Das Ergebnis ist Indie Pop/Rock vom feinsten. Die Schwachstelle ist für mich

Die Stimme ist wie immer absolut beschwörend, der Rest des Sounds geht teils in unerwartet schräge Züge. Gerade Für Leute, die die 80ies musikalisch erlebt haben eine echte Bereicherung. This isn't Our Love is Cool. As below, on first listen you're not sure what to make of this album because it has so much going on. It's almost like a Prog album in some parts...spoken word...grunge...punk...acoustic. It has a bit of everything and in some ways it makes for a more mature sounding record than the first album.
Don't Delete the Kisses is probably the anthem lead from the album Yuk Foo split opinions when it came out as a single.

Non hanno battuto il ferro fin che era caldo i Wolf Alice, non hanno insomma sfruttato il successo ottenuto nel 2015 con "My love is cool" dando subito alle stampe un seguito che ricalcasse quelle fortunate orme. Escono adesso dopo due anni, con un album che marca una certa distanza da quel fortunato esordio. La prima cosa che si notaè una minor foga espressiva a favore di un sound più melodico.
