I wanted my life to be good again, but it seemed like happiness was elusive 4 me. Then I heard the news that the queen of rock & roll was dead...

Pour le prix d'un album, vous avez du Bowie, du Dire Straits, du Bryan Adams, du Phil Collins et bien sur du Tina Turner! plaisanteries à part, c'est très bien fait, interprété et produit; une mine de tube qui s'écoute encore avec plaisir près de 40 ans après

I had just ordered before finding out the Acid Queen had died. I saw both The Ike and Tina Turner Review and her Private Dancer Tour. She truly was one of a kind. Oh, the package arrived safe and sound. Brand new, no issues.

The Queen of Rock and Roll oozes feminine power and sexuality in every note she sings, while her love and gorgeous smile are enough to pay any admission price. There has never been a performer like Tina Turner, and we will never again have one in her league. Purchase the full package with the two (2) DVD performances (pictured). Watching the DVD of the record-breaking concert in Rio, it becomes obvious why the U.S. and the world had Tina mania; she is infectious with every note she sings.

Probabilmente l’album che negli anni 80 evoca bellissimi ricordi in cui sorprendentemente l’audio è tenuto a livelli non invasivi e fastidiosi durante l’ascolto. Dinamicamente il suono non è compromesso, ma certamente per quanto mi riguarda siamo ancora distanti dalla fatidica soglia di ascolto che pur avendo livelli buoni non sono ottimizzati tranne in qualche sporadico caso in cui le tracce sotto tratte direttamente o indirettamente dal vinile. So great to finally get an expanded reissue of this album on CD, loaded with b-sides and remixes. However, with CD 1 running 51 minutes and CD 2 running 66 minutes, I can't understand why they didn't make this definitive and include the Tina's House Mix of "Afterglow" and the Rock Mix of "What You Get Is What You See" from the original 12" singles. Even the 12" version of "One of the Living" from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome would have been an
