I'm a huge fan of John Huges and his films from the 1980s and early 1990s. This one lacks his usual teen ensemble, yet it is still quite amusing, funny, and emotional.
When Cindy and her husband, Bob, are forced to leave town due to a family emergency, only Bob's lazy, reckless brother, Buck, is available to care for their three children. While he quickly bonds with the two younger children, he must adjust his lifestyle if he wants to be an appropriate guardian for the angry

Für mich ist allein mit Onkel Buck Kindheit. Für mich ist das einer der Filme die man in der Weihnachtszeit guckt.
Heutzutage würde vor dem Film wahrscheinlich Ron Warnhinweis gezeigt werden, denn hier wird Zigarre geraucht, getrunken u es kommt Glückspiel vor (wenn auch nur drüber geredet wird).
Ein toller Film mit Herz und Witz.
Onkel Buck hat sein Herz am rechten Fleck.
Ton und Bildqualität ist gut.

very funny, macaulay culkin was very young in this classic comedy staring john candys funnist movie ,in this 1980's movie,a visit back to the past, movie still entertains and holds up to the test of movie times ,also has anna chlumsky who was an extra in the movie also ,see if you can see her in macaulays class room scene ,for the record she and macaulay stared in "my girl". another good movie. must have in your collection.i dont see it in blue ray anymore .

A cult 80s baby favorite | 2023-08-20
If you were born in the very early 80s I’m almost positive this is one of your favorite movies. John Candy is the loveable Uncle we all had who didn’t have a thing together. It’s a great movie but now as a mother of a 15 year old if my oldest child pulled the crap the oldest tried in this movie (which is tame compared to now) their new name would be Cinderella! Great move, worth the watch! John Hughes & John Candy made movie magic!

Someone Hacked My Debit Card | 2023-06-07
I do not recommend purchasing this movie because the next day somebody from Texas hacked my savings and checking account and overdrafted my account therefore I had to freeze my card, get a new one and get everything back after filing several claims that I did bot make suspicious withdrawals from a suspicious ATM in Texas. This was a nightmare for me to go through with my parents.

One of my favorites, up there with the Great Outdoors. Great jokes but a little advanced content for anyone under 13-14.
Follow Candy as he plays a happy-go-lucky loser turns father-figure for his brother's kids.

Have the July 26, 2022 version of this BluRay disk and I have to ask ...
How much noise is deemed acceptable, for the film to be acceptable?
I get disks (BR & 4K) to rip to my Plex server or personal use. I rip them, encode them to H265, put them on the Plex server, then store the disk away. This is the first time that it seams the video of the original rip ( through MakeMKV ) like a pressing of a master made from a recording of a recording from a lower resolution.

I want my money back. Your system must have been bogged down AMAZON. I want my money back.....it's NOT my system, I have very fast internet and no other services were buffering on Netflix, Hulu, Vudu or any other app we tested.

Had this on vhs back in the day for my daughter, when I used to dance the dips with her. Now I was telling her daughter this she told me she wanted to do the same now 30 years later I have 3 grandchildren they all want to dance the dips. Absolutely brilliant to see and hear them having so much fun from a timeless movie.
