Fun and Whimsical...Great Soundtrack | 28/11/2023
My wife is a big Adam Sandler-Drew Barrymore fan. There is great chemistry with these two actors. Like most Adam Sandler movies, the plot has holes and the point isn't to see an Academy Award winning film, but to be able to turn your brain off and laugh and relax.
No spoilers, but the movie ends in a feel good way. Adam Sandler features great music from Dead or Alive, The Cars and a great take on "Love Stinks". Plenty of other great songs too. My wife has seen this too many

Sandler plays a decent person with a broken heart who is imprisoned in one of the world's most romantic jobs as a wedding singer. I never noticed until after watching this movie a handful of times, but it is kind of twisted. Julia was engaged to Glenn. Robbie was engaged to that other chick. But suddenly after being on the rebound for a few days, he’s spending all this time with Julia, flirting and even kissing? Verschwendete Lebenszeit... | 11/11/2021
Die Lieferung erfolgte zum angegebenen Zeitpunkt. Die Hülle wies zwar ein paar Kratzer auf aber die DVD selbst funktioniert. Das Bild flackert zwar ab und an, jedoch noch im erträglichen Maß.
Der Film selbst ist allerdings ziemlich schwach. Die Gesangseinlagen von Adam (gerade am Anfang) sind auch eher mittelprächtig. Als gut würde ich das jedenfalls nicht bezeichnen. Eher eine Art Katzenjammer trifft auf sich bemühen.
Einzig das Lied am Ende des Films ist wirklich schön gesungen. Und die Oma
