I bought Spectral Mornings years ago when it was first released - just full of great melodies and solos and it's really great to see Mr Hackett continuing with his inventiveness. Something like 20 solo albums he's produced now?Thoroughly recommended.

This is the third solo album by Steve Hackett and was released in 1979. It is among his best albums. The title track is spectacular and beautifully ends the album in its original version. The release of three discs is for fans, because it was an exaggeration, although I did not do it. I'm sorry.There's a lot of repetition with different versions and a bit of bonus. Ok! Note 9.0.

It's probably the most consistent, inspired and intriguing work from Steve Hackett. It showcases his strength as a songwriter and arranger as well as a guitar "hero", who found his wings after leaving Genesis (with all respect to that fantastic band). Quite frankly, this work would not fit on any Genesis album, because it's far too personal and different. Die vielen Veröffentlichungen alter Alben von Hackett, King Crimson, Gentle Giant, Yes usw. sind v. a. in der Bearbeitung von Steven Wilson ein wahres Fest für Prog Rock Fans. Mir leuchtet nur die Kombination von DVD oder Bluray in 5.1 bzw. 2.0 mit einer CD nicht ein. Wer die HD Formate abspielen kann, braucht die CD nicht und umgekehrt. Warum gibt es keine Single Bluray bzw. DVD Veröffentlichungen?

There is nothing I can say that will convince anyone of the quality of this album. Steve Hackett successfully bridges the gap between prog-rock and world music in one gorgeous sounding soundscape. If you like Genesis, prog-rock in general, and a bit of oriental in-between, then you will love this album.

I have bought a few 5.1 cd's before this one, but this Steve Hackett has the best separation of any that I own! Better than some quadraphonic reel tapes I have! Anyone giving the 3rd, 5.1 CD bad reviews just don't have a good system to listen to it on! The DTS setting is the best! Steven Wilson did a super job on this mix!!! The 5.1 CD is why I bought this!

If you only ever get one of Steve Hacketts twenty-plus albums, make sure ts this one. His unique and crafted guitar style is most prominent here. Some great tunes too. Probably the best guitar player in the world (just hear his nylon string guitar work).

Hackett's third solo album, and an absolute classic. Excellent song writing, articulate guitar from Hackett with his then signature tones. I bought the album originally on vinyl some 35 years ago or so and still love it to this day.

Worth getting for the new Steven Wilson 5.1 mix, although in my opinion the new mix of Please Don't Touch is the better of the two. Its a pity about the Roger Dean graphics that accompany the DVD (when being watched) as historically nothing links them to Hackett and they don't represent his music. The graphics seem cheap compared by Please Don't Touch which includes revolving stills of the artist and guest musicians in studio. Like all previous versions I still skip the Ballad of the

Worth getting for the new Steven Wilson 5.1 mix, although in my opinion the new mix of Please Don't Touch is the better of the two. Its a pity about the Roger Dean graphics that accompany the DVD (when being watched) as historically nothing links them to Hackett and they don't represent his music. The graphics seem cheap compared by Please Don't Touch which includes revolving stills of the artist and guest musicians in studio. Like all previous versions I still skip the Ballad of the
