Been super happy with my headphones I've owned them for over 5 years now. The only one that I can complain about is the that they get warm when wearing them for a long time, and the band can crack especially when you wear them when you go to bed. So be careful, I was able to fix them with some gorilla glue thank God.

Habe den Kopfhörer 2017 gekauft, 2020 sind BEIDE Kopfbügel rechts und links gebrochen ( Kopfhörer wurden immer pfleglich behandelt und im Case transportiert.).
Gut, aus Russland Ersatzbügel aus dem 3D Drucker bestellt weil Sony natürlich keine ET zur verfügung stellt.
Jetzt 2022 passiert der Hammer, in unregelmäßigen Abständen, manchmal 1x die Woche, manchmal jeden Tag knacken die Höhrer erst und pfeifen danach extrem laut das man sie vom Kopf reißen muss um nicht taub zu werden. Das pfeifen

Noise cancelling is effective, especially for white noise; battery life is solid; controls are convenient; and speaker performance seems good. The modes and hand hover for talking works wells. Construction is terrible. I managed to make them last a year before cracks showed, and a year and a half before they cracked apart. A buddy got a pair about the same time and they only lasted half a year. Right above the hinge between the earmuff and headband they seem intentionally weak.

I am a musician and have to rehearse all the time. This is my 3rd pair of Sony headphones. The quality is excellent and the sound is very crisp. I highly recommend these headphones.

A 4.5 plus product if the head bracket wouldn’t continually snap. This is a widely known issue with no long term fix.
I have several pair of other headphones dating as far back as 1992. (Thank you sennheiser). I’m easy on headphones....yet three breaks of the Sony inside of 14 months. Effectively they are junk. Only fix is an expensive after market option that is not a good long term fix.

Seit dem letzten Update nur noch Ärger. Mit dem PC habe ich es nie synchron gekoppelt bekommen, so bleibt eigentlich nur der Notbetrieb mit Kabel, dafür aber zu teuer, gerade weil der Bass dann am Mobilgerät schwächelt. Erst am Kopfhörerverstärker annehmbar.

Nach 4 Jahren sind die Kopfhörer nun kaputt gegangen mit Klinkenstecker funktionieren sie zwar noch aber lassen sich nicht mehr einschalten. Also kein kabelloses benutzen mehr :(

Ich trage diese Kopfhörer seit nunmehr 4 Jahren täglich ( ca. 6h am Tag). Sie haben mich in dieser Zeit nie im Stich gelassen und funktionieren bis heute einwandfrei. Ihr NC ist nahezu perfekt und die Akkulaufzeit immer noch gut. Auch die Verarbeitung ist robust, obwohl einige Teile sich über die Jahre gelöst haben. Inzwischen retourniert. Vielleicht bin ich etwas zu verwöhnt, aber allein die Haptik, im Vergleich zu meinem B&W PX, hat mich enttäuscht. Zu viel Kunststoff. Und der Unterschied zwischen aptX HD und dem LDAC war für meine Ohren nicht zu hören.
Sicher ein gutes Produkt, aber halt nicht das, was ich nach den gelesenen Tests erwartet hatte.

Ein tolles Produkt, wenn der Bügel mir nicht nach knapp zwei Jahren auf beiden Seiten am Gelenk zerbrochen wäre. Das ist wirklich ein flächendeckendes und sehr bedauerliches Problem mit diesen Kopfhörern. Für diesen Preis nicht hinnehmbar. Sony Support ist für die Tonne.
Konsequenz: Nie wieder Sony Kopfhörer.

This has been my favourite gadget during my studies. They cancel noise quite well, although you can still have a sense of what's going on. If you play some quiet music, the isolation is complete. They have lots of functions such as external microphones that get activated with the palm of your hand and a voice mode. It's a few years old but still a great purchase!

They can't be connected to the Sony app and they don't have updates for it. The pairing experience is not good at all and Bluetooth connection is so bad that the sound quality is worse than the cheapest Bluetooth headphones. Buy never models or don't buy from Sony.

Out of the 4 versions of this product this was the best. Unfortunately mine froze during a firmware upgrade, 100% battery, through the Sony app. Don't decided to upgrade me to the WH-1000XM2, they suck! The noise cancellation during a phone call is non-existent, the person on the other side of the call can hear everything surrounding me. Every noise is heard and it baffles me as the noise cancellation during entertainment use is the best!!!

Cuffie comprate nel dicembre 2017 e le uso quasi tutti i giorni a distanza di circa tre anni sono super soddisfatto dell'acquisto lo rifarei ad occhi chiusi. Perfette per chi vuole isolarsi dal mondo per un po. Volume, bassi e qualità del suono eccellenti se poi aggiungiamo la cancellazione del rumore sfido a trovare delle cuffie migliori. Materiali di costruzione di qualità elevata. La durata della batteria è elevata io usandole tutti i giorni le carico ogni 10 giorni circa.

Vorweg. Der Kopfhörer wurde stets sorgfältig behandelt. Entweder lag er sicher im mitgelieferten Hardcase oder saß auf meinen Ohren. Er ist weder wild von Schädel zu Schädel mäandert, noch hat ihm diverses Haustier zugesetzt. Sorgfältige Handhabung hat die Bügel also nicht davor

Structural integrity on the plastic was an issue I heard about. I found out how easily the plastics break when I put the headphone in my bag for the first time without a case. The plastic broke completely. And the headphone is now useless. Out of warranty, I think I'll pick up another pair and pay attention to the quality of the material a lot more than before. Durability issues make this Sony MDR model a bad buy.
