Sturdy enough for cutting thinner branches might not be for thicker logs easy to use but packing was poor not in a box and blade was visable through packing

Spend an extra few pounds, this saw is the worst ever ,blade too flexable that it wont cut straight,the blade keeps falling off at the handle end as it's so flimsy .save money don't buy it .sorry folks that's my honest opinion.

Muyy mal, aunque la sierra era nueva, la montura, el arco, ya había sido usado.!
El montaje de la nueva sierra estaba mal hecho y falta una palomilla en uno de los extremos, con el consecuente peligro de que salte la sierra. Tampoco estaba la pieza de goma que cubre la punta del arco.
FATALLL....NO LO DEVUELVO POR SI SE LO ENVIAN A OTRA PERSONA CON EL RIESGO QUE CONLLEVA.

I bought it as only had one tree to cut down (diameter approx 20-30cm max). Whilst it seems durable and well made, the utility of a manual saw is challenging. It took me ages to cut down the tree. I would advocate buying an electric saw instead. I didnt at the time (thinking - nah i am only going to use it once), but ended up buying one later, and it really helps and makes the DIY job far more enjoyable.

I bought this years ago and I've only just got round to a review and guess what, I used it again today and it's still as sharp as hell and saws through branches with no problem.

Que quelqu'un m'explique à quoi sert cette scie !A part scier du beurre, je ne vois pas !!!Oubliez pour scier des branches, la lame n'arrête pas de rester coincée !Elle ne vaut même pas le prix de vente !

cette scie a une lame détendue qui ne se tend pas.sur ce coup j'ai perdu mon argent.je le déconseille fortement sauf pour faire une garniture ou une décoration d'art, car le bois elle ne le coupe pas.

Prix très contenu, matériel convenable ; que demander de mieux ? Alors qu'on peut avoir la même chose pour deux à quatre fois plus cher... Très satisfait pour le prix.

After trying to use this several times and having the blade constantly stick in the wood, I had to bend the teeth slightly outwards alternating left and right so that it would cut slightly wider than the blade and actually work.Apart from the blade not being fit for purpose, the handle is sturdy and long lasting.

La lame prévue pour le bois un peu vert...n'est pas d'une qualité extraordinaire en terme d'efficacité mais remplit son office. Cette scie dispose d'un système de tension de la lame simple mais efficace par vis papillon. Le rapport prix qualité est bon.

Je suis une femme et je voulais couper des tasseaux en bois pour ma table en palette.
Bon je voulais du matériel robuste .
En faite c'est une excellente scie mais beaucoup plus appropriée pour un bûcheron.
Je ne regrette pas ,mais pour le travail moins raffinée elle est parfaite

Pretty useless at cutting through anything substantial, plastic handle, blades not v sharp! Going back to amazon to purchase a better quality saw + blades.

Saw is good for the price. Doesn't compare to a higher quality product, although the price difference is huge so this is handy to have as a spare.

My husband wanted a new bow saw & was very pleased with this one when it arrived. It is a good size to tackle most garden jobs. Not for anything heavy duty but for the money it is exactly as we expected. Delivered within a couple of days. Very happy with this purchase.

I suppose you get what you pay for and this is a prime example. Unless you are cutting twigs this saw is useless. Don't waste your money. Spend a little more and buy something more substantial as I had to.

Looked good in the box and felt good at first but its too flimsy for what I need. It never cuts straight and you end up spending too much time re-cutting, all in all not a good buy,

This is a saw intended for cutting growing wood but which is not intended for professional use although its 'Forester's saw' description suggests otherwise and is most suited to occasional use in the garden for pruning or lopping branches, cutting hedges and other similar tasks. The release/latching mechanism is basic, fiddly and sometimes unreliable but, if you persist, it actually works. Don't buy this. It is not a wide enough teeth set to cut logs or trees. You will be there for ever sawing. The Homebase bowsaw will cut in half the time. Spend a little more and get something better.

I'd seen the reviews about it being flimsy but decided to give it a go. I was not dissappointed. Found it sturdy, very easy to use and it slices through branches like a knife through butter - no effort required. Would thoroughly recommend use for pruning branches that are a bit thicker than the norm.Very competative price, with free p&p - it just didnt get any better.

With price being a major factor these days value for money is key.This saw was very good value for money.I don't know why but it seemed larger than I was expecting. Possibly because I'd been used to a small tenon saw. However, that soon wore off. After the first few times of using it I was utterly impressed. It's excellent. If only I was as efficient as it is. I don't what anyone else would expect to saw with this but I was able to slice through trunks up to 250mm thick(approx 10

Bought this to cut down a twenty foot tree rather than the expense of a chainsaw. Glided through the branches and trunk in various places like a hot knife through butter. Part of the plastic hand guard snapped away but that was my over-zealousness. Still sharp for plenty more cutting.

bowsaw does the job although don't expect it to last if you have a lot of timber to saw. The handle that holds the blade in place is made of plastic and will not last as long as a metal one would. Value for money if you only saw small amounts of wood.

I bought this for occasional use in cutting logs etc, and having now tried it I have to say that I'm quite impressed with it. Cutting some railway sleepers took a fraction of the time it takes with my old saw and I now wish I'd bought it ages ago. The plastic hand guard is a bit flimsy but it does the job OK, and on the whole I definately recommend it.

Not what i expected. The blade twisted to much when sawing a log around 3 inches.Not enough tension from the frame and the blade would lock up to quickly on newtimber logs.

Took about 4 weeks to be eventually delivered and I have to say overall this was a very disappointing item.It does cut, but the blade cannot be tightened sufficiently and the plastic hand guard is flimsy and flicks annoyingly from side-to-side. I was overall surprised at the lack of quality and would not recommend to a friend.
