We bought this to replace a failed unit outside the front door. It's easy enough to fit, but not bright. Advertised as a warm white light, it gives out a very dim, yellow glow. I've got torches that are brighter than this light!
It looks good on the wall in the daylight, but I'll be looking to either put a better bulb in it, or have to change it completely, as in my opinion, it isn't fit for purpose. It certainly wouldn't light up my patio area. Recently bought a set of solar

We have several of these lights dotted around our garden in both pir and normal version as they are a nice looking light , slimline design so they don’t protrude from off of the wall to far when your fitting them say on a wall next to a path , good quality and easy to fit , wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them .

Straight forward to fit if you know what you’re doing, but a little fiddly too. No motion detection in this model as expected. Structure feels good, but is all plastic. Looks great! Hope it holds up to its outside promise.

Ik had al zo een lamp bij mijn voordeur hanfen, en deze heeft ervoor gezorgd dat ik dit exemplaar bij mijn achterdeur wil gaan ophangen !!
Werkt érg goed, en geeft mooi voldoende en gespreid licht.

Die Lampe ist komplett aus Kunststoff demnach sehr leicht, die montage sowie das anklemmen problemlos.
Der Bewegngssensor funktioniert sehr gut, musste nicht mal was umstellen.
Was die Helligkeit angeht: Finde für eine Beleuchtung für die Haustür ist die Lichtstärke perfekt, da brauche ich kein Flutlicht die Haustüre, Klingel und Briefkasten werden ausreichend beleuchtet!
PS. Leuchte ist bisher 2 Wochen in Betrieb.

La lampe est jolie, éteinte et allumée. Mais l'éclairage est tellement faible qu'il s'agit plutôt d'une veilleuse que d'une lampe. En cherchant bien dans la page, on trouve une puissance de 3 watts : cette information devrait figurer dans la description principale du produit, en début de page. Attention au montage : l'emplacement des vis pour fixer le capot n'est pas pratique, il faut se laisser 10 cm au dessus et en dessous pour manipuler la clé fournie : placer des

Very easy to fit, really good range for the sensor. Senses my car as I approach, where I had to get out of the car and approach the house before the old one came on. Good addition to set the range and brightness easily from the front. Hidden behind the little lens cover.

Als erstes kam es zu einer Lieferverzögerung, dann kam das Gerät an als ob es schon mal im Gebrauch war. Dann funktionierte das Gerät nicht mal. Also, die Lampe war im dauer-an Zustand. Sehr ärgerlich, weil ich Bohrungen dafür gemacht habe, ich aber keinen Ersatz haben möchte.

looking at the pictures which are nowadays substituted for text i was looking for the sensor setting which are not displayed in any detail whatsoever. I ended up trying to take the front panel off, I realised the box had three pictures without any clarity on how to adjust the sensor.
The strength of the light is poor and Philips are misrepresenting the strength with showing a highly illuminated light on the packaging box.
Personally I would avoid buying this product and sure there are better

A small but good light source for the front porch of a house. It’s motion detection is consistent and does exactly what you’d want it too do. Gives off good enough illumination to light up the surroundings. I’d recommend and would buy again.

So much to like here but spoilt by flaws in installation design. I like its size shape colour, lumen output, eco rating,IP rating and the manufacturers reputation. I bought two - one with motion sensor and one without. First fault is that the light components are on the back of the face plate and not on the back plate, in addition the slim profile means a small tight channel for the cable and chock box. The result is that when you connect the chock box you have to peer over the top of the unit

Wir kauften diese Außenlampe ohne Bewegungsmelder 01/2015, sie hängt bis heute an der Terrassenwand. Die lt. Beschreibung versprochene "optimale Lichtleistung, lebendige Farben und atemberaubende Lichteffekte" können wir nicht bestätigen, der Tisch steht unweit der Lampe entfernt und wir helfen mit Kerzenschein oder Lichterkette nach, romantischer Zugewinn. Bedingt durch permanente Sonnenstrahlung sind die hellen Elemente deutlich unschön vergilbt, die graue Umrandung lässt sich

Die gelieferte Lampe war bereits benutzt, Teile haben gefehlt, das Gehaeuse verzogen. Ich habe trotzdem mit meinen Sachen montiert, damit ich ein Bauvorhaben direkt abschließen kann. Aergerlich, außerdem besteht die Lampe nur aus Plastik, für den Preis zu teuer. Hoffentlich funktioniert sie wenigstens.

Cable entry and space for the internal connections is very limited. This light lasted 4 months before the PIR became defective. The design looks ok but the quality is poor. I have spoken to Phillips (Holland) who have agreed to replace the light. So I have to return it to Holland to get another poor quality equipment hmmmm?
