Pearl Jam's status as grunge overlords has always mystified me, and giving "Vs." an honest listen all these years later does nothing to change that. Because behind a seemingly radical veil of noise, angst, and dissonance hides an utterly bog standard 90s alternative rock album with no tunes. Track 8 'rearviewmirror' almost has a tune, but doesn't quite get there, and no matter how hard Vedder wails and the band clang and bang on their instruments throughout the

I already know this album. Had it on cassette for years! That's right, cassette. I just recieved it, and proceeded to open to pop it into my cd player. Alas, it already appeared to be damaged due to the center release thingy for the CD and CD itself fell right out as I opened it's case. As I turned it over the CD, damage as shown in the attached pics. Looks like I've gotta return it and wait for all of that process to get a 1 day prime delivery🤷‍♂️😉😜. Yay me.

CD arrived perfectly. I am always skeptical everytime I order a CD on Amazon because I always end up with a broken jewel case from the shipment. This one arrived perfect. Solid album. Great songs. One of Peral Jams best albums.

This is the follow-up to the epic "Ten", of course. A strong effort here, start to finish, a few bumps in the road but definitely a worthwhile listen. "Elderly Woman..." is my personal favorite but there's a lot of good stuff here.

The tracks that stand out the most for me are: Dissident, Rearviewmirror and Rats. Then: Blood, Indifference and W.M.A. Then: Animal and Leash. Elderly Woman is a good sing-along. Daughter is a bit too disturbing for me. Go gets a bit repetitive and I'm afraid to say............. misheard lyrics ruined Pelican! It's Pearl Jam (IMO) there is nothing better to listen, dance, cover or go to Concert Venues for!

Wenn der Hype erstmal vorbei ist! Im Herbst 1993 hat sich die Musikrichtung "Grunge/Alternative Rock" bei mir gefestigt. Zuerst die In Utero von Nirvana, dann die VS von Pearl Jam und schließlich die Siamese Dreams von den Smashing Pumpkins. Diese CD von Pearl Jam habe ich mir gleich nach Ihrer Veröffentlichung gekauft. VS ist sicherlich ein gutes in sich geschlossenes Rock Album. Die Songs haben alle eine ungefähr gleichmäßige Qualität. Herausheben will ich das etwas melancholische,

Que más se puede decir de este discazo..... simplemente imprescindible para quien realmente amen la música. Cuando uno pensaba que su primer disco era insuperable sacan este que si no lo supera al menos lo iguala. Marco una generación y la voz de Vedder en su mejor momento
