I love this movie. It is hilarious. Both character equally had me in stitches. My husband and I watch just to get to the end and start over. We love quoting scenes. It a good movie.

Funny story with a good cast. Martin Lawrence steals the show in my opinion bur everybody else does great too. Nice to see Kelly Preston having a small part here. The villains, McGinley and Esposito are talented and produce a lot of funny moments.
The story is funny, with likable characters, yet there is more depth to it than the lines and the jokes. Why on earth Hollywood does not take this approach instead of producing some heavy handed propaganda is beyond me.

One of the funniest movies I've seen. The Scatman scene cracks me up every time I watch the movie. Tom Keogh's stupid review doesn't do justice for a movie with 87% 5-Star ratings. Nothing stupid about Blacks and Whites helping each other, and this film brings that out in a humorous way that makes the point.

I remember when this first came out, thinking, this was an odd combination of actors. Tim Robbins isn't normally known for comedic roles, and Martin Lawrence is usually a one man wrecking crew. But they are fantastic together, playing off each other marvelously in every scene. I quote this movie all of the time, and connect with people when they get where the reference is from. Still makes me laugh all of these years later.

Das Cover wirkt so ein bißchen wie der Ableger vom großen Bruder Eastwood. Der Originalfilm ist aber etwas besser finde ich.
Man hat halt den Spielfilm der sogenannten Neuzeit angepasst, und so gesehen ist er recht gut...

Toller Film mit überraschendem Ende | 28-02-2012
Ich bin wirklich überrascht von diesem Film. Habe ihn mir zugelegt da man bei dem Preis wenig verkehrt machen kann und die Rezensionen gut waren.
Nach dem Film muss ich sagen, ich bin beeindruckt und auch irgendwie geschockt über diesen Film da er doch ein wenig an die Psyche geht.
Wer Krimis und ein bisschen Psychothriller mag ist hier genau richtig. Ich kann diesen Film nur weiterempfehlen, echt super gelungen!
