Bonne alimentation simple tension positive réglable. Prévoir un radiateur pour le LM317 pour une différence de tension entre VIN et VOUT importante, dépend aussi du courant en sortie.

A very useful circuit intended to provide a stabilised voltage supply when used with a low voltage transformer. Can also be used to provide a stable lower voltage, e.g. a reverse voltage protected 5 volts from a 12 volt supply, for small currents. (Note that it is linear so it will get hot and will need a heatsink for currents approaching 1A).

I am very pleased with this kit. I was easy to construct and set up. It also performs well for my purpose as a power supply for a small audio amplifier.

I bought two of these, they went together fine. My only complaint is with the voltage adjustment pot. There is no way to finely tune the voltage, way too sensitive.

Kit arrived clearly in damaged packaging. Didn't think anything of the legs on the LM317T until it was time to solder that component on. Moved forward and assembled the kit but when I got to the point of the LM317T, found that the LM317T came with the legs cut off too short to insert through and solder onto the throughhole board. Further, the truncated legs showed clear signs of plier/grasping tool damage

Alle Erwartungen erfüllt. Macht ,was es soll.Allerdings liegt der ermittelte Eigenverbrauch bei ca.1,5 Volt von 12 Volt. Man sollte immer etwas mehr an Spannung "einfahren", damit noch genügend Reserve vorhanden ist.

This power supply is great, one reviewer said "where's the transformer," well it doesn't have one, it accepts either AC or DC power up to 40 Volts and delivers clean DC power from about 1.5 v to 36V (or about 90% of what you supply it with. At work we have tons of 24VDC power supplies but when we want to bench test a load cell (15VDC) or anything not 24 volts you just put this inline adjust the pot to what voltage you want and your ready to go. I don't see a step down transformer, does it includes one? Don't forget that in order to get 1.5V to 35V a step down transformer is needed and then a rectifier circuit

I had to return this item because there was a design change and the product no longer matches the picture. New design is nicer IMHO, but it won't fit my enclosure. See the pics on the Velleman site for the new design.

After i puting it together,i have 12 volts for mic preamp and using that power supply i bring it down to 9v for DTMF ENCODER GENERATOR WITH PIC FROM EBAY So i have split the line (12 volts ) one for pre-amp and one for Power Supply. So the Velleman 1A 1.5V-35V Power Supply Kit work real good.
