Would have loved them in walnut but they went to ship them and realized they only had black. I took them but I would have rather had what I thought I bought.

Paired these speakers with a set of JBL E-100 towers and a vintage Panasonic SX-3800 60 wpc. I love these running speakers paired together, the higher fidelity KLipsch with the more mid range and bassier JBL's make music together. However running on their own I found them lacking in music venues, with higher sounding instruments as classical they did fine along with guitar solo's they shine but needed a push to fill in a void and that's where the other speakers come in. Don't get

I have a 22watt vintage receiver ,and this speaker pairs wonderfully with it
they are clean and efficient .
they are not going to rumble the floor with bass being bookshelf size speakers but they do have respectable clean accurate bass response for sure
I feel that with the addition of a subwoofer, these speakers are the key to a jaw dropping sonic setup that would keep the listener happy for many years with any style of music.

I run these through a Cambridge AXR100 receiver for vinyl, as well as a two channel home theater. No exaggeration when I say I’m knocked out. Vibrant and exciting highs, as well as rich and balanced lows. Any volume is complimentary. If you’d like to dip your toe into the “Hi-Fi” world, these are a wonderful gateway and confident purchase.

Every aspect of quality and performance has exceeded high expectations. I have been pounding this pair for over year. They replaced my JBL Monitors. These are an amazing value. Super clear, Solid Punch. These speakers perform exactly as Klipsch, USA describes them. Rock On.

My use is music only. So, it's taken me a while to find bookshelf speakers to replace my Old Infinity RS2000's (89db sensitivity; 6.5" woofer, 1.2" tweeter; still going strong since late 80's). This year I purchased two pairs of Klipsch speakers. I bought a pair of RP-160M Ebony, and a pair of RP-600M Piano Black speakers. In a side by side A/B comparison, they both have their unique sound, but I honestly can't say that I prefer one over the other. I kept the RP-600M pair for myself because I was blown away by their appearance, and gave the RP-160M pair to my youngest son, who preferred their appearance.

There's not many speakers that impress me immediately unless they're loud clean bass but these definitely impressed me as soon as I heard them,good clean bass for the size they are with all around clean clear mids and highs as well. An all around speaker and the black piano finish just compliments them that much more.

these are really good for someone who's getting their first pair of speakers. They are big and heavy for a speaker on this price range. Also, the cabinet materials are good, and the magnetic grill is a plus. I really wanted to like them but I am honestly not blown away. I had seen many reviews praising these speakers but they are not what folks say. They tend be too aggressive (which some may like), which I can see leading me to sound fatigue.

I bought these to replace some Klipsch Heresy's. Moved into an apartment and needed to down size my stereo 2.1 system. I really like them and will definitely keep them. I compared them side by side to the "crites upgraded" Heresy I's they were replacing. The 600's are without a doubt more balanced and have way more low end than the Heresy's but there was something missing. They just don't sound quite as engaging or dynamic to me. I added these to a 4 channel system with two Klipsch R24F floor standing speakers, R120SW amp, and a mid-grade Denon AV receiver. This quickly became the centerpiece of the system, by far eclipsing the R24Fs. As I write this, I have moved houses and have misplaced the cable for my sub (R120SW, which is no slouch), and I have great sound running these on 2-channel. With a solid power amp these would scream. Great highs, mids, and good lows. Lows are usually complemented by the sub in the setup

Replaced B&W’s in the house and Athena’s in th’ garage, and couldn’t be more thrilled!!! I know sound quality is HIGHLY subjective, but to my ear, these offer a level of excitement that I’ve never encountered in a small bookshelf speaker. They took about 10-12 hours of break-in, but after that, the sound became rich and full with a surprising amount of bass. The beauty of the piano black juxtaposed with copper cones was an added benefit!!! They’re so lovely that I’ll NEVER use the speaker

I purchased these after seeing some reviews on Youtube. This is the discontinued "older" model before the new series II models came out and are a great value at the price of $375. The sound is quite good overall, with only what seems to be a very slight droop in frequency response in low midrange at around 500Hz and 1000Hz. I have a 10 band equalizer which I use to slightly boost about 1-2dB at each band which nicely corrects for the slight droop. And of course, with a 6.5" woofer

Extremely satisfied with my purchase! If you pair these with a quality amp, they will shine and reveal amazing details in your music. I got the piano black finish and they look amazing, especially with the grills removed. The contrasting black and copper-clad woofers look great. The sound can be described as rich and highly-detailed; these are very musical speakers! Of course, a lot will depend on your amp, mine are driven by the 160 (80 watt/channel) Denon stereo amp. Very sweet-sounding combo.

Full disclosure, I am a Klipsch fan. I've owned their speakers for over 20 years. If you enjoy the Klipsch sound, these are an excellent value option ($329 on closeout) for the brand. These are the older series. The newer series II are supposed to avoid the drop off in frequency response b/w the woofer and tweeter. Personally, I like the bright sound and efficient nature of these speakers as is. They sound very bright and have sufficient bass for the basement and the bedroom that I have them

Technisch habe ich nichts auszusetzten, Klipsch bleibt Klipsch, muß man mögen oder nicht. Es geht mir jetzt nicht um die Technik sondern deren Holzoptick Wallnuß. Ich habe schon als Heights, 4 Stück von den RP-500SA verbaut. Was nicht hinkommt, beide Modelle sind aus der selben Serie aber die Wallnußoptiken weichen derart ab, daß ich noch das Folieren in Angriff nehmen muss,

I was looking forward to these speakers serving as replacements for my good sounding but plain looking Klipsch RP-500M's. Unfortunately, I bought into the overly positive RP-600M online hype and chatter. The piano black finish does look great! That's where it ends for me. The upper bass and mid range frequencies are, at best, muddy or almost entirely absent. Not at all similar or complimentary to my RP-500m's. Plenty of bass boom and treble sizzle if that's what you want.

This is my first speaker of higher quality and i really enjoyed this speaker so far. It’s rare but sometimes I do feel slightly fatigued listening to this speaker at higher volumes. Often I don’t listen to it at a high volume and it has a nice sound and depth. In my room and positioning the soundstaging isn’t great but I’m sure it could be better. It’s a good sounding speaker but it isn’t perfect.

I was trying to decide between the RP 900 M or the newer 900 M II. After researching several sources, I decided that, for the money, there was no major difference that could make up for the disparity in price. I'm extremely pleased with them so far, they are a very "Fun" speaker to enjoy.

These speakers have a good sound. At least to me and my limited experience with speakers. They sound better than any speaker I have had before except for really expensive ones. However, two major and one minor problem, at least for me:
1. They do not have a logical versatile attachment mechanism. If you use the common spear headed attachments that work great with modern receivers, there is NO way to securely fasten them to your speakers. Their is no hole in the screw cap that you can put
