Sizzix makes beautiful dies of good quality. If it sats Sizzix, you can trust it to be good. This “On the Edge Die” performs well and I love the pattern.

This is one of the last of the "On the edge" dies I had left to complete my collection. I'm afraid Sizzix isn't going to be selling them for much longer in a steel rule die format which I prefer. Many of been retired already, some have been converted to thinlit dies. I just wanted to make sure I got this one before it went away. Great price here on amazon with free shipping through Prime.Btw, you can turn this into a full doily but by cutting 2, then cutting off the edges

The size of this design,like so many other edge dies, is not quite right for any size card. Lost of work to get it just right. Too much time to do so, and I rarely use it.

Unfortunately this die would not cut all the way through. These steel rule dies are meant not only to cut paper/card stock but chip board, cork, and plastic and this one wouldn't even cut all the way through card stock. I feel like the Tim Holtz steel rule dies are a hit and miss purchase. Recently I have purchased a few on the edge dies or other steel rule dies and they too did not cut all the way through. For some, I have a done an exchange hoping the next one would cut properly and some

Surprisingly, this die does not cut thoroughly. I say surprisingly because I have been using Sizzix steel edge dies for years and all others have cut thick material in one pass. This die could not make a clean cut on Bazzill card stock (110#), despite my running it through eight times. I gave up with the Bazzill and used the lighter weight paper from Michaels (Recollections brand.) The die had trouble even with this paper. Again, I made 8 passes, and I still needed to do some fussy cutting

Surprisingly, this die does not cut thoroughly. I say surprisingly because I have been using Sizzix steel edge dies for years and all others have cut thick material in one pass. Hermoso diseño de encaje, con un sin fin de posibilidades, los troqueles bigz se usan sólo con los acrílicos y son especiales para cortar materiales gruesos, por lo que se puede lograr un trabajo con realce, pero si se necesita se pueden usar con cualquier grueso de papel.

I am close to owning almost every one of Tim's on the edge dies. I use them for more than they are meant.Diy- fyi:I also cut them up to use as embellishments.

I love Tim Hotz dies, and have a vast collection of them, but this one is not my favorite. When working on several cards, sometimes I like to cut 2-3 sheets of regular weight cardstock at a time. Since according to the manufacturer, this die is designed to cut magnet, leather, and craft aluminum, I figured it would work. However, the intricate design did not cut through the 3 sheets thoroughly. That cardstock was ruined. Therefore, I had to cut a sheet of cardstock at a time. That worked

Another great Tim Holtz die. I was using a doily stamp and then cutting it in half. This solves all the problems. Cuts very clean and I can cut the solid edge off for card making. This is even better than using real doilies because you can use any paper.

Wish I could give this a high rating but unfortunately I'm just not pleased with the way it cuts. I have purchased lots of the Tim Holtz Alteration dies and have been very pleased with them. This one just don't cut very well at all!!! It would be a beautiful addition to my collection if it would cut properly:(

I love this die. I knew I was going to have to take time to poke out all the holes but it is worth it in the end.The only thing I wish is that these new steel rule dies would cut more than one cutout at a time like the old ones do. These on the edge dies from sizzix are really fun to work with.

This is one of my most favorite dies. I love the design. I have been using it in albums for photo pages, like Laura Dennison shows on her youtube videos.

This is a VERY intricate die-cut with lots of little holes. You need to be patient when removing all the paper scraps to get the doily to be revealed. Looks great against a contrasting color. Ink it slightly for a distressed look. I'm using it for the top of a tag for a Mother's Day Album that I'm putting together.

Wish I could give this a high rating but unfortunately I'm just not pleased with the way it cuts. I have purchased lots of the Tim Holtz Alteration dies and have been very pleased with them.
