The main selling point of this speaker is two things, the ease of use being a speaker made from apply and being in that ecosystem, and the small form factor of the speaker. Both of which were the two things that let me down about this speaker.
The first point I will dive into isn't mainly about this speaker but Siri in general and that is to say it sucks. The wait time to get Siri to reply, or do a simple task like stopping my alarm in the morning is more dreadful than just reaching over to

It’s an amazing speaker with great sound and bass when you consider how small the device is. Sound is clear and fills up a room, and you have the option to turn off the kind of heavy bass in the settings of the Home app. You can even pair it with another HomePod Mini for a stereo effect. It’s amazing.

We’re filling our house with sound. They sync and play together beautifully. The sound is amazing especially considering their size. Sets up in about 10 minutes from your iPhone. The whole home intercom feature is cool as well.

I have issues with the homepod constantly disconnecting or just telling me that it cant do something, like set a timer, and to try again later. I dont know why, I have had to completely reset it 3 times and getting it connected to my home app was a pain. When it works its great. But it doesnt like to work

Für Alle, die in Physik etwas aufgepasst haben: die kleine Kugel kann keine HoghEnd Analhe mit mannshohen Lautsprechern und 1000W Verstärkern ersetzen. Aber alle meine Besucher/Freunde haben den Subwoofer gesucht. Der Klang der keinen Kugeln ist sehr voluminös. Die Höhen sind Okey aber nicht filigran. Für knapp 100€ und einer tadellosen Inbetriebnahme über AppleHome sind die HomePod Mini eine ganz klare Empfehlung wert. Top. Jederzeit wieder. Bestens verarbeitet.

I recently bought the Homepod Mini and long story short I love it! However, I did have a better sound quality on my google home. I was able to control the bass and treble on my google home whereas on the homepod you are not allowed an EQ unless via apple music. Overall I love the features it has. Plus you get a free trial of apple music when purchasing a homepod or homepod mini!

This is great for someone that needs music but doesn't feel like spending all of their money on in wall speakers. I have a stereo pair of the HomePods, and they sound amazing for their size and price. Siri on this can be stupid from time to time but when Siri works, it can be very helpful. In my case Siri is great for scheduling stuff and answering calls

The connectivity via airplay is problematic when using spotify (with apple music is better but not everyone has it). I never could connect it to my mac and it disconnects randomly from my iphone. The sound is good (when it works).

This is my second HomePod mini, I wanted to buy two to use then as a stereo speaker for my tv, and even tho I had lots of issues pairing them I think it was more on my router issue than the speakers. But once they were paired I love the sound and the ability to manage my tv with Siri.

Ich bin seit einigen Jahren überzeugt von allerlei Apple-Produkten, insbesondere iPads und iPhones. Der Homepod + Homepod Mini waren daher die logische Schlussfolgerung für ein flächendeckendes, raumübergreifendes Soundsystem für Zuhause. Doch leider hält das Gerät nicht ansatzweise, was es verspricht.
Zum Glück haben wir erstmal nur einen einzigen Mini besorgt, statt mehrere und vielleicht sogar den großen Homepod zu kaufen. Dies war für uns erstmal die Testphase.
