Die Idee ist interessant. Leider fährt der Film mit angezogener Handbremse. Der Film mit Füllmaterial voll gestopft, die für die Handlung IMHO nicht nötig sind. Gemütliches Katzenfüttern in x Einstellungen z.B. Das brachte (für mich) keine zusätzliche Spannung rein, sondern nervte irgendwann. Kann man trotzdem schauen wenn man das Genre mag.

This movie actually was really good! It kept you hanging on right up until the end and had the "I didn't see that coming" feel to it. Worth the watching if you like mysteries.

This movie was suspenseful. It was about neighbours in an apartment building. One neighbour is suspected of being a killer who is terrorizing the neighbourhood.

It amazes me that a strange and gripping, even darkly humourous film such as "Good Neighbours" (a.k.a., "Notre-Dame-de-grâce", after the Montréal neighbourhood in which this film's peculiar doings, by a trio of weird characters, take place) has had so little reception (as of mid-2015) on Amazon-Canada! Es geht, kurz gesagt, um einige Menschen in einem Mietshaus in Kanada, die zunächst alle relativ gewöhnlich erscheinen. Jedoch geht in der Gegend dann ein Serienkiller umher. So weit, so prinzipiell interessant klingend.Nach Vorstellung der Hauptcharaktere sieht man diesen dann beim alltäglichen Leben zu - inklusive einiger menschlicher Irrungen und Wirrungen. Leider ist ziemlich schnell klar, wer für die Morde verantwortlich ist, so dass nicht wirklich Spannung erzeugt werden kann. Der Film

Auf den ersten Blick wirken die Einwohner genauso normal wie das Mietshaus aus dem Stadtviertel Notre-Dame-de-Grâce in Montreal, in dem sie leben.
