Es ist echt wie in alten Zeiten bei Kinox.to Man guckt und freut sich einen alten Klassiker mal wieder zu sehen und ist happy. Auf einmal wird ewig lange englisch geredet. Gaaanz Dünne Leistung!

Mi producto es el ‎que muestra Amazon con ASIN B004NRS7Z6. Tiene un disco Bluray con toda la película (no es necesario el cambio de disco de la versión en DVD). Al ser la edición del director tiene más metraje, lo cual la hace más interesante. El único problema (para quién esto sea importante) es que el doblaje no es en castellano con el acento empleado en España para doblar, sino el que se utiliza en Hispanoamérica. Bonjour, Très déçu, je me préparais à me faire une séance vidéo du film et qu'elle surprise, en sélectionnant la bande son english et sous titre français, pas de son ... pour avoir le son il faut passer en accéléré petite vitesse ... Quel dommage! J'attendais ce Blueray depuis longtemps et en plus c'est un cadeau... Très très déçu de la qualité...

Über den Film muss man nicht viele Worte verlieren. Besetzung, Kameraführung, Dialoge Schnitt und detailtreue sind hervorragend. Nach meiner Meinung ein Meisterwerk und zurecht für mehrere Oscars nominiert. Die DVD hatte Stereoton auf deutsch, da legt die BD in negativer Hinsicht noch nach. Die Englische Tonspur ist 5.1. Die deutsche Tonspur ist MONO!!! Eine absolute Frechheit, das hat der Film nicht verdient.

Excellent film, especially if you don't want graphic scenes of blood, guts and gore, People know that these battles were bloody but not all viewers want that in every film, showing some blood and buckets full of amputated limbs is enough. It follows the book, The Killer Angels by Michael Shaara closely and adapts it to film very well. Criticism of it because it does not seek to delve deeply into other issues is wide of the mark. Anyone looking at this will know the film so I won't go on about the movie itself. The deleted scenes have been restored to the film and the bluray does give a hugely improved picture, colour and sound quality, well worth the small price.

Hay pocas películas bélicas tan buenas como ésta. No hay mejores, cada una en su temática y época histórica. El tratamiento de las personalidades históricas, sus diálogos (históricos según referencias bibliográficas) y el ritmo y evolución dramática de la película, la convierten, a mí parecer, como imprescindible si te gusta el cine 'de guerra'.

Uno delle più belle pellicole sulla Guerra Civile Americana (che tutti, tranne gli americani, chiamano Guerra di Secessione), assolutamente da vedere, anche se gran parte del film ruota attorno alle vicende di Joshua Chamberlain e del 20º Reggimento di Volontari del Maine che hanno difeso il Little Round Top. Credo di averlo visto 22 volte.

This German issue Blu-ray has American Dialogue and English Sub -titles and would appear to be exactly the same as the US release other than the slip case is German. Be aware this epic re-enactment last 471 minutes too much for one evenings viewing! Although it was a bloody pointless battle there is not much explicit gore though there were over 55,000 casualties. An interesting historical experience to watch not sure I will watch it again. It comes with a DVD copy which I did not look at. The

Obwohl die Tonspur Deutsch ausgeschrieben und diese auch im Film ausgewählt werden kann, sind nicht alle Szenen in der deutschen Sprache vertont. Ich vermute, dass die Tonspur der reinen Kinofassung Deutsch vertont wurde, jedoch die zusätzlichen Szenen des Director Cuts "vergessen" wurden. Wer dem englischen nicht mächtig ist wird sich damit eher schwerlich anfreunden können. Direcotr cuts finde ich persönlich oft besser.... Hier bekommen wir aber dadurch 4 1/2 std Kost präsentiert,

This was a somewhat entertaining movie about one of the most important battles in US history. I rated it three stars because it was much longer than it needed to be, the acting was a little overwrought in places, and the beards were almost laughable. The makeup artist for this movie deserves a razzie!It you've read the book then following the movie is easier.
