I have the identical mount in my other cars. They work well. In total, this is my 3rd mount for my gps. Now all my cars have this amazing mount. I think it was a better salution to a window suction type mount..

I wanted something so that my gps wouldn't have to be on the windshield and this fits the bill for that. It's pricy, but I feel it fits the bill.

I have been using this item since 2013 for my Garmin GPS in my vehicle. I have used the window mount with the suction cup, the problem with the window mount was the suction cup holding the GPS unit on the front window would lose its hold and fall off the window with the GPS unit still mounted on it. This GPS mount with a weighted bag is better suited for staying on the top of the dash. I did find that it did slide sometimes when taking a sharper turn and some curves in the road at a higher

garmin gps holder that works. | 14/12/2023
finally , a gps holder that is actually suitable for 2019 honda civic - Garmin DriveSmart 76 combination.
Other gps holders tend to obstruct the drivers vision too much and may not be legal in nz.
My gps holder is mainly used on sealed roads , it doesn't budge at all .
place in either the centre of the dash , or to the right ( nz RHD )
and being portable the whole unit can be taken off the dash and hidden out of sight.

USELESS UNIT drains battery and only works while drawing from battery | 27/11/2023
Horrible unit. Does not work unless you have it connected to your auto battery and it drains the battery. So it is essentially useless unless you enjoy a dead battery.

Poor adhesion - not much grip | 18/11/2023
These look the part and the Garmin Sat Nav fits ok BUT once driving the lead filled pad just slips off the dashboard if you brake too hard. - not much adhesion , waste of money. Better to buy the vent gripper that I have also reviewed.

Bin echt positiv überrascht, kein Fummeln mit Saugnapf oder irgendwelchen Schraubhalterungen. Nicht währen Off- Road Fahrten getestet! Obwohl etwas teuer bin ich sehr zufrieden!

I thought this would work nicely in our motorhome, but it just slides around the dashboard top, so I had to return it as it really isn't non-slip.

Dangerous | 31/10/2023
Not only does this not work, ie stay where it’s put on the dashboard, it is potentially very dangerous. Fortunately my passenger caught it when it slid off my dashboard - three times in total. I consigned it to the dustbin after that. These things are quite heavy and could well cause an accident. I believe they should be withdrawn from sale.

Got for my GPS, which is kind of large. Finding a mount that works is kind of hard but this one works very well. Still have a little bit of an issue with the GPS sliding across the dash on sharp turns or moving all over the dash when on the interstate, resolved this with a very small piece of Velcro.

Basically a sandbag with a tacky bottom and Garmin socket on the top .
Gravity hasn't failed yet. Inertia has beaten it a couple of times though.
Exactly what I was looking for.
Multiple years of reliable use.

Das Produkt habe ich für mein Navi gekauft. Die beiden ersten Merkmale konnte ich beurteilen. Die Qualität und Haltbarkeit nicht. Ich bin erst im Besitz der Halterung ca. vier Wochen und man erst ein Urteil innerhalb eines Jahres abgeben. Also nach einem halben Jahr.

I like the fact That I did not have to stick anything to my car like traditional, mounting things it’s weighted and don’t slide off when taking curves It’s small and it’s elegant looking it is effortless. If you are one of the ones that like yours to be adjustable and that comes out over the dash then this is not for you, however, it does adjust up and down and side to side.

This is my second purchase of this mount. It works if you can avoid sharp turns and stops, but don’t expect miraculous sticking power if you do. It is better than most mounts of this design, but it’s still prone to some slippage under emergency conditions — just like all others.

Check for screw tightness often. | 24/09/2023
Decent...used everyday for past 3 years...not as steady as I had hoped...it will still move somewhat. Then there is the problem with the screws in the bottom. 2 of the screws have vanished and the other 2 screws were working themselves out as well. Good luck trying to find replacement screws since they are so unique. I would hate to have to buy another one of these just to get the 2 screws. I now check them weekly for tightness. If you are the manufacturer and would like to send me 2

Die Halterung passt wie beschrieben zu meinem Garmin Drive Smart 55. Entgegen meiner Befürchtungen bleibt die Halterung auf dem Armaturenbrett, und zwar genau dort, wo ich es hinlege. Auch bei schlechten Straßenverhältnissen und scharfen Kurven.
Wirklich toll finde ich diese Lösung, weil ich mein Navi in Reichweite habe. Ganz im Gegensatz zu den herkömmlichen, mit Saugfuß an der Scheibe zu befestigenden Halterungen. Außerdem bleibt man flexibel. Da die Halterung wirklich nur aufliegt ( keine

Ich fahre einen Toyota ProAce bei dem die Windschutzscheibe weit vom Fahrersitz entfernt ist. Mit diesem Teil, muss ich mich nicht immer umständlich nach vorne Strecken, sondern kann den Navi so platzieren, dass ich leicht dran komme. Auch kann ich ihn im Sommer schnell aus der Sonne nehmen, damit das Gerät nicht überhitzt.

It sits on the dash board very securely. No sliding when the car makes a turn or starts up from a light. The best is it is easy to remove from the dash board and hide the gamin out of sight when parking in a public place, then put it back on the dash when you get back into the car.

Passt exakt zum Garmin Gerät und erspart das mühsame anbringen mittels Saugnapf an der Scheibe, steht dann auch weniger in der Sicht, rutscht auch bei Kurvenfahrten nicht. Es ist besser als ich erwartet habe und meine Meinung ist: 100% zu empfehlen.

Most cars nowadays have built-in GPS, but I have an older car and this item holds my GPS secure. The only problem I have is where to put it, since my dash is so small, it gets in the way of my view when driving.

the ball is 17 mm the Garmin 86 is 22 mm. had to buy a 17mm to 22mm converter. Took a little search to find it now hope it works. You should not recommend this for the Garmin 86

Lo acabo de poner en un. Seat Ibiza 6j y va estupendo de momento a ver cuándo lo probe con vibración ni se movió las ventosas ensucian el cristal y con el calor se caen esto evita el problema
