Habe den Film bereits 3x gesehen und kann nur sagen, er ist sehr sehenswert! Ove harte Schale, weicher Kern! Kauziger alter Kerl, den man im laufe des Filmes allerdings ins Herz schließt und am Ende des Filmes sich die Augen ausheult. Ich glaube, ich hab alle Gefühlslagen in diesem Film durchlebt! Ein ganz besonderer Film!!! Nicht gleich wegschalten, der Film wird je länger man in schaut umso besser! Kein 08/15 Film von der Stange.

Do not go by the "trailer" as it doesn't really present a good overview of the film, I almost deleted it but thankful that I did not. An in-depth storyline which I love and not some superficial nonsense which I dislike; interesting character growth in the male lead who deserves an award for his acting. Humor where you least expect it that had me laughing out loud. Goes to show you can't judge a book by its cover. Realistic portrayal unfortunately of what many of us go through

Ich habe mir den Film angesehen bzw. gekauft (für mich das Original) nachdem ich die Neuverfilmung "Ein Mann names Otto" mit Tom Hanks ( er war die richtige Besetzung für "Otto") gesehen habe - für mich war das Original besser, aber ich denke das ist Geschmacksache - jedenfalls ist der Film sehenswert

Here is my problem. If I review the movie as a thing of itself its funny, well acted, emotional at times, and is very good. BUT I read the book first which is a masterpiece. So the movie had to make choices and cut lots of great pieces out which kills me. I wanted the scene where he buys the IPad. I wanted a longer more detailed scene where he interacted with the clown. A better build up where she finds out his heart is to big. So on. I give the movie five stars but could have been so much more.

Ein mann namens Ove... sollte man gesehen haben. Der Film lief im Fernsehen und ist von der ganzen Aufmachung nicht das, wo wir beim durchschauen der Programme stoppen würden. Aber an dem Tag kam nix gescheites. Und wir waren sehr überrascht. Da wir den Film aus Zeitgründen nicht zu ende schauen konnten, liehen wir ihn am Wochenende aus. Ein Mann namens Ove ist im Grunde genommen ein tragischer Film über einen einsamen von einem schweren Schicksalsschlag gezeichneten Mann. Der Film ist gut inszeniert, es gibt auch einige lustige Momente, aber im Grunde ist die Figur des Ove bemitleidenswert. Trotzdem sehenswert.

Wunderschöner Film, der in Rückblenden in das Leben des Hauptcharakters einführt und dabei auch immer mehr emotionale Schichten aufbaut. Es gibt Momente zum Lachen, aber auch zum Heulen. Und manchmal weiß man nicht so recht was gerade angemessener wäre, aber auf jeden Fall ein sehr berührender Film.

Watched this twice and its great! Even the music score seals the curmudgeon, bitter hard heated old man! Great story, great acting all around a good flick. Food and persistence melts Ove’s large heart ❤️ and he begins to live again. Started to watch A Man Called Otto (remake) and it stunk so we watched this one again!

Der Film hat alle meine Erwartungen erfüllt, teilweise sogar übererfüllt. Bewegend, witzig, dramatisch. Aber irgendwie hatte ich immer das Gefühl, den Plot zu kennen. Und dann, am Ende, der Hinweis dass dieselbe Story über den bärbeißigen Witwer schon vor vielen Jahren schon einmal mit Tom Hanks in der Hauptrolle verfilmt worden war. Sogar mit fast demselben Titel. Man streiche "Ove" und ersetze durch "Otto". Keine Ahnung, wozu dieses anders besetzte Remake mit weniger

Dem Film hätten wir sehr gern 5 Sterne gegeben, aber leider haben nach einer Dreiviertelstunde die Übertragung abgebrochen, da sie, trotz eines 250 Mb Anschlusses, ständig hakelte und das Bild unscharf wurde, schade!
