| Das beste MTV Unplugged aller Zeiten | 08/12/2019
Tatsächlich erinnert mich das Platten Cover an meinen VHS Mitschnitt dieses '91er Unplugged Konzerts aus Röhrenfernseher Zeiten. Doch hier schallt einem ein warmer Vinyl Klang entgegen. Ein super Auftritt einer damals noch jungen Band mit einem dennoch schon breit gefächerten Lieder Spektrum. Wenn man sich mal überlegt was R.E.M. nach '91 bis zum Ende der Band noch an Hits veröffentlicht haben, die hätten locker auch nach 2001 ein drittes oder gar viertes Unplugged spielen können.

I dischi unplugged come registrazioni sono veramente registrati bene. Io dei R.E.M. Li ho presi tutti e 2. Che dire sono soddisfatto soldi spesi bene. Quando hanno annunciato la loro separazione mi veniva da piangere da sempre li ho seguiti ancor prima che diventavano famosi con" Losing my religion". Di canzoni belle ne hanno fatte veramente tante . Anzi non riesco a trovare una brutta canzone loro e su questi 2 Lp ce ne sono parecchie. Consegna di Amazon sempre impeccabile ed è

Qualität der mir vorliegenden Pressung ist ok. Kann keinerlei störende Nebengeräusche feststellen. Ich kann die Platte ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen. Ein legendärer gig von rem.

Il live è stato registrato abbastanza bene, per gli amanti del gruppo è un vinile da avere.per quanto riguarda Amazon è sempre una garanzia.

I ordered this for my husband as an anniversary gift. The packaging was great and the sound as well. I would definitely recommend.

2 Sterne gebe ich nur weil die Musik von REM damit nichts zu tun hat. Die Qualität des Masterings ( oder kann es sein, dass es einfach nur die aktuelle Pressung der Platte ist ) ist so schlecht, dass ich es nicht länger als 5 Minuten durchhalten könnte. Ich habe dann gesagt, dass die eine, oder andere Röhre in meiner Endstufe sich verabschiedet hat, aber tatsächlich lag es an der Platte. Das Ding gehört in den Müll. Schade für die Musik.

Good quality vinyl although the sound was a bit lacking in clarity compared to other formats of the performance.
Overall I am pleased to add this to my collection, can never listen to too much Unplugged 1991.

had this show on vhs back in the day and know it well. great versions of songs throughout their career to that point with a focus on Out of Time which was the current album which they did not tour for. My favourites include Fall on Me, Love Is All Around, Perfect Circle, Endgame, to name just a few. Great backing vocals esp by Mike Mills on Fall on Me, and Michael Stipe too. Makes me really miss the band.

I came of age in 1992, love all of these songs and remember watching this concert on mtv. I love R.E.M. and have for years and am now beginning to collect their music on vinyl. I don't know the weight of the vinyl off hand but it plays wonderfully and is well engineered with very little surface noise. The gatefold outer sleeve is heavy card stock with art thats consistant from the era. A great trip down memory lane.

I just received this LP open it up guess what I have 2 LP side 3and 4 NO 1and 2. It's not the distributor it's the manufactures fault

I had already the 2001 version, and I bought 1991 next. You will find "Losing My Religion" on both, but they are different anyway.Both 1991 and 2001 albums come with 2 vinyls each, and are very nice quality made as well as for listening.I would recommend to buy both to have the complete collection.

This review pertains to the vinyl edition (played back via my Linn LP12/Ekos/Akiva). To begin with, my copy of this arrived in mint condition: the records were clean, flat, 180 gram, and the gatefold sleeve is very nice. I've always loved this concert and have the high rez digital from HDTracks, and as this was recorded during the heyday of digital, I wasn't expecting superior sonics on the vinyl. To my surprise the sound is far superior. I had planned on puttering around the house

I had already the 2001 version, and I bought 1991 next. You will find "Losing My Religion" on both, but they are different anyway.Both 1991 and 2001 albums come with 2 vinyls each, and are very nice quality made as well as for listening.I would recommend to buy both to have the complete collection.
