I bought this board game as a birthday present for my friend. Thank God I tested it before giving it to my friend! I received the game in a very badly used condition! But the item description says it's a brand-new item. Also, this is an old version of the game. It looks like someone has been playing this game for years and just decided to sell it as a totally new one.

Hab das Spiel zu Weihnachten verschenkt und wir haben es gleich am Abend und die Tage darauf gespielt. Es ist simpel zu erlernen und bringt einfach sehr viel Spass. Besonders wenn man mit der Familie und Verwandten das Spiel zusammen spielt, bereichert es den Abend. Man kann seiner Kreativität beim Spielen quasi freien Lauf lassen. Die Bildkarten regen die Fantasie wunderbar an. Die Teilnehmer haben richtig Spaß am Erzählen oder Beschreiben. Es bleibt spannend bis zum Schluss. Und es zieht sich nicht zu sehr in die Länge. Das Spiel spricht alle Altersgruppen an, auch Kinder (ab 8) können gut mitmachen. Da es keine 'Bewertung' gibt, hat man kein schlechtes Gefühl, auch wenn man nicht gewinnt. Unsere Familie spielt es sehr gerne, und damit es weiter spannend bleibt, kann man mehrere zusätzliche Kartensätze erwerben.

Bin mega enttäuscht. Habe das Spiel für Silvester bestellt. Bestellung kam mega schnell an, nur war in der spielschachtel kein Inhalt drin. Das Paket wurde zurück geschickt und dafür musste ich 14€ für die Rücksendung bezahlen.

Dieses Spiel ist perfekt zum Verschenken geeignet.Das Spielprinzip ist wirklich simpel, was aber keine negative Auswirkung auf den Spielspaß hat.Auch der künstlerische Aspekt kommt nicht zu kurz und so beinhalten die einzelnen Karten allesamt sehr schöne Darstellungen.Definitiv ein Spiel, das nicht in der Sammlung fehlen sollte! Gerade das einfache Spielprinzip ist von Vorteil, wenn unterschiedliche Altersklassen beteiligt sind.

Sehr schön und abwechslungsreich gestaltete Karten laden zu immer neuen Runden ein.
Weil jeder anders tickt und denkt sind die Spiele nie langweilig oder repetitiv.
Eines der interessantesten Spiele, die je auf meinem Tisch waren.

For starters, did not receive the elevated playing board as displayed in the product pictures, order came with a flat numbered board, not nearly as nice. Second, showed up damaged. The shipping box was fine, but the game box had multiple rips in the cardboard. Will be returning.

Nach sehr vielen Spieleabenden nun meine Urteil:
Das Spiel ist sehr gut durchdacht! Es bietet viel Redefreiheit, Interpretation und Geschick! Man darf nicht zu sehr ausufern, sollte aber auch nicht zu einfach die Bilder betiteln!
Aus diesem Grund, macht das Spiel auch nur Spaß, wenn die Mitspieler ebenfalls über einen Fantasievollen Geist verfügen!
Sollte man aber des öfteren Spieleabende veranstalten, dann kann sich das sehr

New Favorite Game | 2020-06-01
Our family has fallen in love with this game. After playing a few rounds we decided to buy three expansion packs. Down the road we’ll get the rest.
It’s easy to tell that this game would be a blast with a fun group. So many ways to play once you get the hang of it.
Beautiful artwork.
Our 5 year old enjoys it, but she’s probably a little young...ages 8+ seems pretty accurate.

Such a Fun and Creative Game | 2020-02-05
I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She absolutely loved it. She was an art major in college and really appreciates the creative, beautifully illustrated cards. We have played it with our whole family, and we all thought it was great fun. Somehow it is both relaxing and (slightly) competitive yet without ever making us feel put on the spot. It is now one of our favorite games.

this is not the version advertised, it's the ugly one, not the nice box one, again feeling cheated by this internet buying system, but nowadays seems to be the only way. huge disappointment! see picture. if you're hoping to get the other beautiful version this is not the one as it shows in the false pictures. I'm gonna keep it anyway because don't trust anymore that I'm gonna find what I'm looking for. at least we can still play it.

You will not get the game as pictured in the product images. This one comes with a small rectangular scoreboard, not the green meadow-like large scoreboard. Just a warning.

I played Dixit few times at a friends' house and decided to buy it as well.
Unfortunately the cards you get with this package are not very interesting as there is too little going on in them. As a consequence I ordered the Daydreams Expansion pack whose cards I like much more.
In addition, the expansion pack cards, or even the stock cards, don't fit in the 2 of the 3 spaces there are in the box for extra cards, basically the card container holes in the box are in the wrong size.

This is a very entertaining and simple-to-learn game. The difficult part is trying to describe or come up with a story for the cards in your hand. It certainly can give you a lot of fun and a lot of frustration.
I've played it only a few times, but it definitely is worth your time.

I bought Dixit from this particularly vendor because the board shown in the item picture was from a different version of the game, wich I thought looked more cute. But for my surprise when I got the item the board was not the same as the one in the picture. I got this ugly board instead and I paid more for this particular version because I thought it had better looking board. Amazon also sells this game version I got for a cheaper price. Therefore, it would make no sense for me to pay more for

Great game! I and my friends and family have a lot of fun with it. It is pretty simple and very easy to understand how to play with it. The cards are really beautiful and it helps us to become more creative.
