The blade chipped after very light use, I’ve only had it a few days. I ordered this knife because it’s advertised as being durable but my cheaper older knives have held up much better, I’m very disappointed.

It's a little on the big side for local carry laws, but feels great in the hand. Like all cold steel, this shows up very sharp. Great customer service.

Unsafe knife due to not closing properly. Cold Steel will not even take the time to respond to request for help. Don't take a chance and injure yourself buy ANY other American Brand

I think this knife feels way more sturdy and sure in hand than other fully serrated folding tactical knives like the spyderco police for example and at half the cost to boot. It's very lightweight but large without being obtrusive in my pocket. The serrations glide through meat and anything else for that matter effortlessly. Also i wasn't sure I'd like the curved handle but i do, especially in the reverse grip. The texturing on the handle is aggressive and sure without biting into my

The tanto shape is my favorite for tactical use. The thick spine and tip makes it ultra durable for piercing, and the secondary point is useful for precision cuts. The disadvantage is, it's a little more difficult to sharpen, but you can find a disadvantage to anything. The BD1 steel on this blade is extremely corrosion resistant and has never rusted on me. Deployment is ultra fast because the tanto blade is so heavy that it comes out easily with a flick of the wrist. The FRN handle provides

Quality knife, very well made with great steel. My hands are too big to comfortably grip the newer style Voyager handle though, so if you have large hands you might want to think about the XL.

Cold Steel is the finest knife I have ever owned for several reasons. The hold an edge better than knives costing four times of their value. The warranty is second to none. The customer service is head and shoulders above their contemporaries. I use these knives in commercial, hunting, camping, and self defense situations. I cannot think of a single time in all the years I've owned a Cold Steel Knife, that anyone of them has ever let me down. They can be a little pricey, but as far as
