Ich habe die Tastatur als Entwickler und Gamer seit Ende 2021 viel im Einsatz, sie sieht trotzdem fast noch aus wie zu Anfang und funktioniert einwandfrei.
Für den zweiten Home Office Arbeitsplatz wird daher jetzt wieder das gleiche Modell bestellt.

Ich war seit etwas längerem auf der Suche nach einer neuen Tastatur, die meine Razer Blackwidow V1 nach 14 Jahren Nutzung und keinerlei Probleme ablöst. Wer frühere Razer Tastaturen selber benutzt hat, der wird auch wissen wie laut die Tasten waren, also war ich seit längerem auf der Suche nach einer leisen Tastatur. Habe etliche Videos auf Youtube gesehen zu vielen Tastaturen. Vorab, es ist wirklich schwer in Form eines Videos zu hören wie laut eine Tastatur ist. Die Cherry G80 hat mich aber am

Obwohl die Tastatur ein Kunststoffgehäuse hat fühlt sie sich trotzdem sehr wertig an. Sie Keycaps haben eine angenehme Haptik.
Wurde zurück geschickt weil ich für den Büroaltag lieber auf die Taktilen Switches (braun) umgestiegen bin. Zum programmieren finde ich das deutlich angenehmer.
Aber die Red Silent werden ihren Namen gerecht und sind wirklich flüsterleise.

This is my first entry into a hot swappable keyboard and for the most part I like it. Out of the box it simply plugs in and works. It's a decent build with a few extra keys controlling sounds and the backlight is fantastic. Only complaint is you can kinda hear a little ting in the switches. Wondering if browns would have been better.

Ich habe mir innerhalb weniger Tage sowohl ein Cherry KC 200 und G80-3000N TKL mit Silent Reds gekauft, und hatte somit einen direkten Vergleich.
Zunächst mal das Positive zum G80-3000N TKL:
- Die RGB-Beleuchtung funktioniert und lässt sich ziemlich hell einstellen.
- Die Keycaps fühlen sich gut an.
- Der Preis ist für ANSI-layout nicht viel höher als für QWERTZ.
- Silent Reds sind wirklich leise.
Es gibt jedoch sehr Vieles zu bemängeln:

Die Tastatur ist Anthrazit anstatt "Black" wie es auf der Verpackung auch deklariert ist! Das Kabel ist nur 150 cm anstatt 180 cm. Bei Cherry sind die Schreibtischen in den letzten Jahrzehnten wohl kleiner geworden. Auch hier spart der Hersteller Cherry auf Kosten des Users! Ansonsten ist die "Silent"-Tastatur auch wirklich Silent. Zum Gaming mit der RGB Beluchtung sehr gut geeignet.

I live in Thailand, where it's impossible to find an English language-only keyboard. So I was forced to order a keyboard from the U.S., sight-unseen. The Cherry seemed to have all the features that are important to me -- namely a responsive keyboard and backlighting -- the price with international shipping was very good, and although I'd never heard of Cherry keyboards before, they seemed to have a good reputation.
Now it's not a BAD keyboard, and the more I use it, the more I get

Die Tastatur ist qualitativ hochwertig und schaut echt gut aus. Die Basisfunktionen wie z.B. die Art der Beleuchtung lassen sich auch direkt über die Tastatur einstellen. Es dauert aber, bis man sich an diese mechanische Tastatur mit ihren relativ hohen Tasten gewöhnt hat. Genaues Tippen ist erforderlich. Schon minimale Berührungen lösen den (Nachbar-)Buchstaben aus. Great keyboard I've tried many gaming keyboards.
The Ergonomics of this keyboard is the best I've tried and the keycaps being cherry profile abs plastic feel very good and they hold up after a long time no shine . (they last longer than even the gmk keycaps I've had) The keycaps profile being cherry are miles better than oem keycaps .
I even took apart every switch with twizers to lube & film them (it took me ages it's the only way to do this as they are soldered in) I also

The keyboard works well but they put the shift functions on the number keys below the numbers. It is a small change and maybe this is a thing but it is terribly frustrating for a mediocre typist like myself who is used to shift functions above the numbers. Not the end of the world but I don't know why they thought this would improve keyboard/typist performance.

Beschriftung auf den KeyCaps ist auch gut, im Vergleich zu den Keychrone Tastaturen.
Besser gibt es einfach nicht für den Preis!
Ich habe zuerst eine gebrauchte gekauft, aber sie ist mit den braunen Switsches angekommen.
Nur die Feder in den Switches vibriren etwas wenn man stark und schnell druckt.

Overall I was torn between this and the Logitech G815 but having read about the G815 and G915 key wear issue I thought I'd take a gamble with Cherry instead.
This was a Amazon Warehouse deal with nearly 40% off. Unfairly I was expecting the worse given the "Minor imperfection on surface, sides or underside" description however upon receiving I was thrilled to find the keyboard was in perfection condition and working order. Could it be they were describing the original box?

Why would one need to learn how to use this keyboard? Well, it only requires 1mm of key travel to register, which is at least half of other keyboards. You don't need to press hard on the keys, so just casual finger actions can record a keystroke. Also, there is almost no effort to depress a key, which adds to this. Using other standard keyboards and mechanical gamers requires more overt efforts. Even early on, when I would get ticked for my typos, I knew this was an awesome keyboard. Every

This is TKL - so no numberpad, but still full-size. It's really quiet - not silent, but much quieter than most mechanical keyboards, and almost as quiet as a membrane keyboard. The keys aren't quite as tactile as a Razer Huntsman mini (with quiet linear switches), but for use as a keyboard to type on all day, I actually prefer this, as a they feel a bit more cushioned. In summary it feels like it has the best benefits of mechanical & membrane keyboards.

I use it for gaming, writing and general work.
I'm used to loud mechanical keyboards and that's the first time I get silent switches and the difference is staggering, i'm in love with it's quietness. You could test your writing speed on it with someone sleeping right behind you (from experience). it's comfrotable and easy to press and the RGB helps to see the keys when the room is dark. I especially enjoyed the red indicator for the NUM pad lock and SHIFT keys. not something

This keyboard is quiet enough, not silent, has the right feel for me, and a price that reflects its overall quality. I have keyboards that are more silent and cheaper, but lacking the feel and adjustability of lighting.. This keyboard has numerous led lights that can be adjusted beyond simple on/off options on cheaper keyboards. I highly recommend this keyboard.

Keyboard itself is fine; switches are good, well built, works great.
BUT.
Cherry hides their manuals so well I can only find them on sketchy manual download sites, and the tiny card it came with as a 'reference' is only helpful if you already know their system. Their website literally shows only a "data sheet" for this keyboard, not the manual, yet one EXISTS elsewhere, and if I am willing to brave endless malware and sketch ad options I can even read it.

The keyboard is super solid and feels very high quality. I do like it and it feels nice to type on, however, I don't think this would be for everyone. The switches are very sensitive and some people are definitely going to have an issue with that. Not an issue for me.
The RGB is easy to control through the keyboard, which is good because the software doesn't work. I have a wide screen monitor. Maybe that's causing the issue, but the app doesn't display or work

High quality materials and attention to detail make the typing experience on this keyboard phenomenal. As other reviewers have mentioned, the only minor drawback is the USB-C cable input on the keyboard itself is embedded into a small opening and only accommodates the provided cable which has been a non issue for me and may never be an issue if the cable holds up over time and does not get lost. The keys are low profile and switches provide a very linear feel and do not require a lot of travel

I wanted a nice low profile keyboard for gaming and also for programming.The quality is great as expected,awesomely quiet. Sadly the switches are not hotswappable,cause i was thinking on changing to tactiles, but its alright.RGB colors are okay, not many choices in profiles tho. Also i have to find a way to change the keys to hungarian,which will be difficult.

Great keyboard. Mx silent reds feel great and the rgb is solid. Download the software by searching “cherry utility software” online. The weird white rgb is kinda strange but still alright. If you’re changing keycaps be particularly careful with the spacebar, I had issues with it all falling apart but reconstructed it in the end.

I got this to soften the sound of my typing. Currently have Cherry Brown switches. Even though these Red Silent switches are actually quieter, I did not like the feel of it for typing. My fingers got tired a lot faster, and the feel was mushy and not confident. Cherry Brown is awesome for typing, I am sticking with these. Nothing wrong with the quality of this keyboard, it just didn't work for my purpose.

Absolutely awesome keyboard, and truly a great value. The Cherry MX Silent keys are extremely quiet compared to every other mechanical switch I've tried. People used to complain about hearing my keypresses during gaming, and since replacing my old keyboard with this one, not one person has said a thing. Beautiful build quality, but the rest is a mess. Cherry software is actually unusable as it for some reason doesn't allow me to select the right half of lighting options or the apply button, essentially making it useless. Keys feel nice, but are EXTREMELY sensitive, leaving me with tons of mistakes. I don't feel like I'm a great typist, but this keyboard definitely makes me a much worse one. I'm going to work with it for a few days and I hope I can adjust, but I'm not a fan

- das wichtigste zuerst - das Tipgefühl ist ausgezeichnet
- die Beleuchtung gefällt mir auch
- das kompakte Design war mir ebenfalls wichtig und ist genau richtig so
- Zuverlässig und sicher; weniger Eingabefehler als bei schlechten Tastaturen
- mir gefällt auch der "Sound" beim Tippen :)

- plastikfreie Verpackung, dafür wirkt die Tastatur etwas plastigartig

So far, the keyboard has performed excellently. There are presets on the RGB effects that you can get to by using the Fn key so there's no need for Cherry's software to be installed on the machine to switch brightness & presets.
And my favorite part, the keys are really low profile which makes for a very sleek look. I use it for both typing and games and happy with both!

Having used cheaper, noisier mechanical keyboards, this is truly a breath of fresh air. It’s quiet (I really type hard) to a point it almost comes off like a membrane keyboard (in a good way). The keys are still clicky having sufficient travel for that mechanical KB feel. I type pretty fast when I code and keys are responsive while feeling sturdy enough. The CapsLock color change when “capitalized” is a nice touch.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einer mechanischen Tastatur und bin hier fündig geworden. Es gibt verschiedene Leuchtmodi, die einfach umzustellen sind. Eigene kann man soweit ich das gesehen habe nicht anlegen. Das Schreibgefühl ist sehr angenehm. Natürlich ist die Tastatur nicht sonderlich leise, aber das erwartet man von einer mechanischen Tastatur auch nicht.

I'm not much of an RGB guy however the lighting on the keyboard is highly customizable, in addition they have a program you can install from the website for extra customization of the RGB, also the keyboard feels very nice to type with. However it has one major downside... You have to type (VERY) lightly otherwise the keyboard makes annoyingly loud metal clanging noises that ruin the whole purpose of the keyboard. Lovely weight to the keys. Colours really pop compared to my Logitech G512 in the pic which is still excellent and has nothing wrong with it.
I got this mainly to prevent my mouse whacking off the side of my Logitech while gaming. Has happened enough times to warrant purchasing a TKL. This is better than I expected, it's a joy to type on and is really nice and quiet. Highly recommend.

Great keyboard. Mx silent reds feel great and the rgb is solid. Download the software by searching “cherry utility software” online. The weird white rgb is kinda strange but still alright. If you’re changing keycaps be particularly careful with the spacebar, I had issues with it all falling apart but reconstructed it in the end.

Im Gegensatz zur Steelseries kann man hier alle Einstellungen, insb. die Beleuchtung auf der Tastatur speichern - und muss nicht die Software permanent offen haben. Diese Tastatur ist für mich eine super Kombination für HomeOffice und Gaming.

Absolutely awesome keyboard, and truly a great value. The Cherry MX Silent keys are extremely quiet compared to every other mechanical switch I've tried. People used to complain about hearing my keypresses during gaming, and since replacing my old keyboard with this one, not one person has said a thing. Exactly what I was looking for; really nice product.

This is my first entry into a hot swappable keyboard and for the most part I like it. Out of the box it simply plugs in and works. It's a decent build with a few extra keys controlling sounds and the backlight is fantastic. Only complaint is you can kinda hear a little ting in the switches. Wondering if browns would have been better.

Die Tastatur ist Anthrazit anstatt "Black" wie es auf der Verpackung auch deklariert ist! Das Kabel ist nur 150 cm anstatt 180 cm. Bei Cherry sind die Schreibtischen in den letzten Jahrzehnten wohl kleiner geworden. Auch hier spart der Hersteller Cherry auf Kosten des Users! Ansonsten ist die "Silent"-Tastatur auch wirklich Silent. Zum Gaming mit der RGB Beluchtung sehr gut geeignet.

Die Tastatur ist qualitativ hochwertig und schaut echt gut aus. Die Basisfunktionen wie z.B. die Art der Beleuchtung lassen sich auch direkt über die Tastatur einstellen. Es dauert aber, bis man sich an diese mechanische Tastatur mit ihren relativ hohen Tasten gewöhnt hat. Genaues Tippen ist erforderlich. Schon minimale Berührungen lösen den (Nachbar-)Buchstaben aus. Great keyboard I've tried many gaming keyboards.
The Ergonomics of this keyboard is the best I've tried and the keycaps being cherry profile abs plastic feel very good and they hold up after a long time no shine . (they last longer than even the gmk keycaps I've had) The keycaps profile being cherry are miles better than oem keycaps .
I even took apart every switch with twizers to lube & film them (it took me ages it's the only way to do this as they are soldered in) I also

Overall I was torn between this and the Logitech G815 but having read about the G815 and G915 key wear issue I thought I'd take a gamble with Cherry instead.
This was a Amazon Warehouse deal with nearly 40% off. Unfairly I was expecting the worse given the "Minor imperfection on surface, sides or underside" description however upon receiving I was thrilled to find the keyboard was in perfection condition and working order. Could it be they were describing the original box?

The keyboard is super solid and feels very high quality. I do like it and it feels nice to type on, however, I don't think this would be for everyone. The switches are very sensitive and some people are definitely going to have an issue with that. Not an issue for me.
The RGB is easy to control through the keyboard, which is good because the software doesn't work. I have a wide screen monitor. Maybe that's causing the issue, but the app doesn't display or work

I live in Thailand, where it's impossible to find an English language-only keyboard. So I was forced to order a keyboard from the U.S., sight-unseen. The Cherry seemed to have all the features that are important to me -- namely a responsive keyboard and backlighting -- the price with international shipping was very good, and although I'd never heard of Cherry keyboards before, they seemed to have a good reputation.
Now it's not a BAD keyboard, and the more I use it, the more I get

The keyboard works well but they put the shift functions on the number keys below the numbers. It is a small change and maybe this is a thing but it is terribly frustrating for a mediocre typist like myself who is used to shift functions above the numbers. Not the end of the world but I don't know why they thought this would improve keyboard/typist performance.

I got this to soften the sound of my typing. Currently have Cherry Brown switches. Even though these Red Silent switches are actually quieter, I did not like the feel of it for typing. My fingers got tired a lot faster, and the feel was mushy and not confident. Cherry Brown is awesome for typing, I am sticking with these. Nothing wrong with the quality of this keyboard, it just didn't work for my purpose.

Just received this keyboard. The quality of build is very high. Feels like a premium product. Unfortunately the software that should allow me to adjust the key color settings doesn't seem to work that well. There is limited control from the keyboard but the full functionality isn't there. Also, the keys are a bit louder than I expected.

Ich habe mir innerhalb weniger Tage sowohl ein Cherry KC 200 und G80-3000N TKL mit Silent Reds gekauft, und hatte somit einen direkten Vergleich.
Zunächst mal das Positive zum G80-3000N TKL:
- Die RGB-Beleuchtung funktioniert und lässt sich ziemlich hell einstellen.
- Die Keycaps fühlen sich gut an.
- Der Preis ist für ANSI-layout nicht viel höher als für QWERTZ.
- Silent Reds sind wirklich leise.
Es gibt jedoch sehr Vieles zu bemängeln:

Keyboard itself is fine; switches are good, well built, works great.
BUT.
Cherry hides their manuals so well I can only find them on sketchy manual download sites, and the tiny card it came with as a 'reference' is only helpful if you already know their system. Their website literally shows only a "data sheet" for this keyboard, not the manual, yet one EXISTS elsewhere, and if I am willing to brave endless malware and sketch ad options I can even read it.
