Mit diesem Film geht eine meine Lieblingstrilogien zu Ende, auf Comedy-Ebene bezogen sogar meine allerliebste.
Ein letztes Mal kommt Mike Myers zurück, diesmal sogar in Form von gleich 4 Charakteren - dem fiesen Fettsack, Austins ewiger Widersacher Dr. Evil, dem titelgebenden Goldständer; und natürlich Sir Austin Powers höchstpersönlich. Auch diese Rolle füllt er wieder auf grandiose Weise mit unterschiedlichen Persönlichkeiten, die alle ihre unterschiedlichen Parts in der Story einnehmen.

Ein Teil meiner Kindheit wieder neu entdeckt, sellemols auf VHS gehabt ...leider das zeitliche gesegnet.
Daher bestellte ich sie wieder und immer noch so lustig wie früher und kult 👍

Turned if off halfway through, not nearly as funny as I remember, sort of cringey to watch now and I normally really like Mike Myers and Beyonce.

I bought this and it didn’t work on anything, not on a PlayStation or DVD and blu ray player!
There’s also a circular mark not sure if that’s the problem or what?

I love the movie. But DRM makes it so you need to either play it on the browser or on the windows prime video client. Kind of annoying if you cannot access either.

If you're buying this at Amazon, thinking it will port to Movies Anywhere - be aware, it doesn't. It's not set up properly in Prime, so it won't port, and won't be visible in Prime if you buy it somewhere else. I ended up canceling my order and buying on Vudu, where it ported without an issue.

I'll watch Sir Michael Caine literally open an envelope. Having said that: so many successful films/TV shows changing their milieu to Hollywood is so disappointing. All in the Family, Barney Miller, Soap: all set elsewhere. The first Austin Powers was so fun! When entertainment becomes self-reflexive, it's such an ouroboruos. Film wasn't invented to make everybody a filmmaker. Film was invented for actual people objectively to observe their their actual lives. And,
