I don’t think these have any selenium! I use selenium to keep thrush at bay. It normally works and has worked with previous brands. I bought this brand at a discount and the thrush was not going away after a week. After buying the Walgreens brand of selenium and taking just two pills, my thrush was gone almost overnight. This brought me to the conclusion that this particular brand does not contain selenium at all! Don’t buy!

This product not only smells overwhelming bad but has aftertaste that remains throughout the day and because of that was left with alot of nausea. I started taking this supplement a couple of weeks ago and have noticed a few positive things. First of all, I feel more clear headed and energetic. I used to feel sluggish all the time. Next, it helps with diarrhea, somehow it makes me more regular. Lastly, I seem to sleep better and more solid throughout the night. I still wake up but I’m able to get back to sleep easily. I’ve been taking this brand for at least 5 years for my thyroid function and can tell that I love it and it did help me to regulate thyroid function but lately smell of the capsules is just not right, it smells like a dirty rag, i’ve ordered a few bottles thinking it was a bad batch but smell is still there, Never before it smelled that way. Not sure if formula was changed or …. Thinking of switching brands but wishing they’d have same formula as before. Smell is killing it for me.

Be really careful with this stuff, most people get plenty of selenium and this stuff has 200% of daily value.. too much selenium not only has adverse side effects but can also be dangerous. I take Selenium for an autoimmune thyroid disorder. This was the first time I tried this brand. YES, Selenium reeks to high heavens. But any brand I’ve ever taken smells the same. Just hold your breath, swallow it down, and gulp some extra water. However, this brand caused huge red, swollen whiteheads to pop up all over. And in places you wouldn’t normally get acne.
