Great little sander and comes with sand paper parts. Easy to use and hardly any dust.

It's a fine sander but has two issues, power button and battery removal. Both of these are a pain, the power button isn't that easy to engage, and the battery removal is a pain, you can't get a decent position on the button. You have to push the button against the direction that the battery has to move to come off the device. Yet another device that seems to have been designed by a generation that wasn't allowed to play out!!

Obviously, not used it too much in the course of a year.

I previously had a Bosch Detail Sander for 15+ years, but recently its laboured when starting (maybe brushes are worn). Because of its reliability I did not hesitate to buy another Bosch Detail Sander the PDA 180 E purchased through Amazon.
The first thing to say is that the sander came from Germany so had a Flat 2 Pin Plug. This is not a problem as a uk 3 pin plug can be fitted quite safely to the sander because it is double insulated evidenced by a square within a square on the power advice

I've used this brillian handheld sander on large and small surfaces. It never lets up, does the job, is highly adaptable to the surface, with the wedge and edge being particular good to wear larger proberances, and the flat surface for planing.

I bought this to replace one that had previously only been used twice but was no longer working. It was no longer covered by the guaranteed. .The cost of repair was £18 less than buying a new on. So I bought a new one. I’m hoping this one will last longer.

Easy to use ,more powerful than I thought it would be ,gave it 5 stars even though the dust collection box was next to useless but worked great with a hoover attached to it as another option would recommend it and would buy again .

I had to sand 3 doors = 6 sides it was all done very quickly and no mess of paint dust , I will not be lending my sander to anyone I will just recommend they get a new same as mine ,

| Uneven surfaces | 27/01/2024
Split sanding surface is not level. One is higher than the other, therefore it is hard to get a smooth surface. Also, once the (nice looking) case has been opened it is very hard to close the latches again. I had to stick sellotape on to keep the case closed. All my tools used to be from Bosch but I feel that their quality has hit rock bottom in the last few years. I don’t have any such issues with other brands.

Liegt gut in der Hand. Mit der Absaugevorrichtung gut zu gebrauchen. Die Schwachstelle ist wie bei alllen die Klettbefestigung, hat aber schon einiges ausgehalten. Ersatzteller ist leicht zu wechseln (habe ich vorsichtshalber gleich mitbestellt. Nichts ist ärgerlicher als mitten in der Arbeit aufhören zu müssen, falls das Teil den Geist aufgibt.)

Great product. Note you’ll need a Bosch charger. Fortunately I have cordless Bosch head trimmer and recharge pack from that works fine. I’ve used mine for light sanding of woodwork before a repaint and takes the shine of an old gloss paint easily.
The pads attach easily and I’m still on first one after a few rooms.
Gets into tight nooks and crannies.
Recommend. But wish they’d be more clear that a charger is needed.

These genuine Bosch sanding disc worked much better and lasted far longer than the cheap copy cat ones I’ve previously purchased. Worked out cheaper in the long run

Short circuit, smoke, dead within 2 months | 17/12/2023
I like the fact it does the job. I hate the fact it broke within 2 months of purchase. I was using it and a spark came out from the engine, which created a short circuit in the entire house, and smoke came out of the engine!!

The vibration of this sander sometimes causes the battery to pop out! I've noticed that they have released a different version of this so perhaps they were aware that there was a flaw with the battery release mechanism...
I have a couple of battery powered Bosch tools and compared to other brands I always find the battery removal mechanism really awkward and frustrating as they don't freely release from the tool after pushing the red button and then sliding the battery out. Perhaps I

It's a ok sander, but have your hoover on for three dust at the same time.
Nothing goes in the dust box even though the sand paper is in the right place with the holes on the bottom plate..

Der kleine Schleifer ist sicher nichts für größere Flächen oder einen professionellen Gebrauch. Aber was beim Do-it-yourself-Handwerker so anfällt, erledigt er schnell, intensiv und ohne Ausfallerscheinungen. Ich habe unterschiedliche Kornstärken ausprobiert und war, alles in allem, sehr zufrieden. Empfehle das Produkt uneingeschränkt weiter.
