Compré el Nokia 800 Tough 4G para dejar el smart phone y no perder la conectividad básica. Tiene whatssap, Google maps, email en el tlf y Facebook. Yo lo compré principalmente por whatssap y google maps y el email. Si quieres un móvil sin apps que te esté todo el día mandando notificaciones es perfecto. Es muy resistente, la batería dura mucho, pero no 20 días como dice. Con un uso normal dos días sin cargar. Estando en reposo una semana.

Dann kam die Ernüchterung.
Das Betriebssystem KaiOS ist das Allerletzte billigste unfreundlichste und abgespeckteste System das ich je gesehen habe.
20 Jahre alte Simbiansysteme waren besser funktioneller und weiterentwickelt.
Der Akku war nach einem Tag mit 2 kurzen Telefonaten leer auf 8%.
Keinerlei Appnutzung oder Nachrichten etc. Das war der Schock.
Zurückgedacht.
Das hatten wir schon einmal vor 15 Jahren. WhatsApp deinstalliert.

Jetzt habe ich das Nokia 800 Rough knapp eine Woche, also genug Zeit, um erste Erfahrungen zu teilen. Es handelt sich nicht um ein Smartphone im eigentlichen Sinne. Es ist eher eine Möglichkeit, sich dem Smartphone-Wahn, jederzeit erreichbar zu sein und reagieren zu können, zu entziehen. Digital Ditox, wie das auf Neudeutsch heißt, steht hier im Vordergrund.
Das Telefon sieht gut aus und wirkt sehr robust. Es verfügt über das Kaios-Betriebssystem, welches einige Apps anbietet, wie z.B.:

However, the operating system is TERRIBLE. Any interaction with this phone is painfully slow.
The call sound is not good. The buttons are hard. I really don't understand why they created this phone - because the only thing it does well is looking good, and it is very durable. But that's not enough - it would still need to work like a phone.
The old Nokias from 20 years ago were much nicer. If you want to go back to those days

It seems to do everything you would want, phone, texts WhatsApp and emergency browser/maps - they’re really not useable for pleasure, but work in a pinch. Best of all is the 4g hotspot meaning I can still use it as a backup line when working from home or if I take a laptop out with me.

Kein Touchscreen, keine Anmeldepflicht, um das Telefon vollends nutzen zu können und eine einfache Bedienung garniert mit ein paar praktischen Funktionen könnte in der Theorie super funktionieren, was es zum Teil auch tut.

Wunder lbar dieses kleine Ding. WhatsApp etc klappt. LTE Verbindung super.. Sound OK.. Akku hält .. einzigste was nervt. Wenn man WhatsApp schreibt muss man immer das t9 erst aktiveren. Egal ob man sich vertippt und man muss es wieder aktivieren über die Stern taste. Wenn man das dauerhaft machen könnte wäre super.. aber nix dazu gefunden auch nicht im Menü des Handys.. und das nervt auf Dauer. Sonst top Gerät..

Construction & built quality are good, love the Desert Sand colour scheme. A bit bulkier than expected from the pictures. SIM slot is a bit hard to accurately inject. Considering how simplistic the OS is, I expected it to be snappier. The biggest disappointment is the battery life - with barely any active usage (mostly 4G standby), it lasts about a week.

Pro : resistente, ben costruito , essenziale.
Contro: batteria non molto longeva, internet poco fruibile e molto limitato nei servizi base, poco intuitivo nelle prime fasi di utilizzo, fotocamera basic praticamente inutile.
Preso in sconto e ci stá per il prezzo pagato, ss dovessi spendere piu di 100 euro però mi guarderei um pò attorno.

Pro: resistenza assoluta, buona durata della batteria, ottimo come hotspot, YouTube funziona benissimo e con una pubblicità molto limitata.
Contro: il vivavoce in uscita è pessimo, il jack 3,5 si è rotto dopo un anno, il menù è di una lentezza esasperante, durante la redazione di SMS la tastiera spesso si impalla...

I bought this as part of the dumbphone movement. It seems to do everything you would want, phone, texts WhatsApp and emergency browser/maps - they’re really not useable for pleasure, but work in a pinch. Best of all is the 4g hotspot meaning I can still use it as a backup line when working from home or if I take a laptop out with me.
