The perfect scoop without the hassle | 2023-06-30
This ice cream scoop is amazing!! It seems like every other ice cream scoop out there you need to dig and dig and hope to get something close to a circle. This scoop is the exception. All you need to do is gently roll along the top of the ice cream and you will have a perfect circle every time. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

Doesn’t oxidize my foot. | 2023-06-24
I just had to use a scouring pad on this thing to remove the grey oxidization that built up and actually rubbed off on my ice cream. Hope that doesn’t mean I’m not ingestion any more aluminum than I should be.

After using a spoon to scoop ice cream for my whole life, I decided to splurge and get this ice cream scoop. It works great! Cuts through ice cream easily and makes those perfect scoops of ice cream that you get at an ice cream shop. So satisfying!

I had great hopes for this ice cream scoop since it received many positive reviews. One reviewer, an 80 year old woman, described the problem very well. Either the scoop required lots of hand strengt to scoop frozen ice cream or I received a defective product. I was only able to scrap off the top in small pieces. I returned it and ordered a different one.

I love how easy it is to scoop frozen ice cream. However, the scoop has already chipped. I hand wash it. Hopefully it won't continue to chip since it was pricey.

Been thru a few over the years... different style and brands....hands down the best scooper I have ever used. This didn't get such good reviews by freak accident or spamming fake reviews. Nice tight scoops, and releases from scoop easily - the only ice cream I have ever even remotely had an issue with this scoop was rock solid, let it sit out for a few mis to soften up and it still took it out well, though with a little bit of effort, but packed beautifully and released easy.

Be aware, this ice cream scoop IS NOT dishwasher safe. My fault, it does state in the description to hand wash, but I missed it. The aluminum coating washed off in the dishwasher. Had to throw it out.

It advertised to be easy to scoop hard packed ice cream. It wasn't. However verdict is still out because I haven't let someone stringer than me try it. I had one of this type years ago, "Pampered Chef" that worked like a charm.

My household has always bought random ice cream scoops and they all stinked. This one is so much easier to use especially since our freezer is rather cold so ice cream gets pretty hard. Works like a charm and glad I found out about these.

I own an ice cream shop, I’ve had only Zeroll scoopers but this one is my favorite.. beautiful round scoops the size of an orange.. all of our staff love it and the customers love their big scoops too. I immediately ordered a second one after using it 10 stars ⭐️

Why spend $25 for an ice cream scoop? Only if you think you are getting a great enhancement to the traditional tool. The promise was a liquid contained within the scoop would heat up from the heat of your hand and make scooping easier. I am here to tell you, in a direct comparison to my 50 plus year scoop, it works no faster PLUS the slick surface of the handle makes it much harder to grip securely while you attempt to scoop the frozen ice cream.

Do Not Place in Dishwasher | 2023-05-17
Unfortunately I did not see the disclaimer to NOT put in dishwasher. After putting in dishwasher, the shiny metal turned gray and left a gray residue on my dish towel. Not sure what process they use in manufacturing but I will not be using this scoop as I have no idea what the metal is or what might come off when i dip the ice cream like it did on my dish towel

I bought this for a Christmas gift. When the recipient used it to scoop ice cream, the ice cream had black streaks. I just learned this. I had read about this scooper from Wire Cutter saying that it was used by professionals and highly rated. Fortunately, Amazon gave me a credit.

This Ice Cream Scooper Doesn't Work | 2023-05-15
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my sister and her family. I was told this weekend that the scooper doesn't work. I tried it for myself and, sure enough, the scoop doesn't work as it is described. I have a similar scoop from a different brand that works great!! I have been unable to buy another one from the other company and was hoping that this wouldn't be a knock-off. The liquid in the handle of the ice cream scoop should work with body temperature to easily scoop the ice

Funktioniert gut aber nach ca 2 Kugeln muss man ihn trotzdem kurz in warmes Wasser tauchen weil er schon auch die Kälte annimmt und dann die Kugeln nicht mehr ganz so mühelos frei gibt.

The Zeroll is awesome and does exactly as advertised but the dilemma was WHAT SIZE TO GET?!? I purchased the 4 oz and wish I had gotten a smaller model. It's really big for just home use. The 4 ounce Zeroll is tricky to fit into a regular Bryers ice cream tub as it didn't leave much room to roll the ice cream correctly.
I guess my collection will grow as I'll probably try to get the 3 or 2.5oz one after a while. I'll try to update the review with my findings in the future. I wish

For it being significantly more expensive than most scoopers, it is most definitely not worth the up charge. It doesn’t work any better than any of the scooper and in a lot of cases works worst. I’ve had this scooper for some time and bought another because I didn’t like it. I had been diligent about not putting it in the dishwasher and it slipped my mind one time, and now the scooper is unusable leaving residue on my hands at the slightest touch. Definitely don’t recommend.

It's literally the original ice cream scoop and will last you a lifetime. Probably the best single purpose kitchen tool I have. I actually feel bad when I see other people using inferior ice cream scoops, if they only knew what this one is like. I'll probably be buried with this thing, hopefully long in the future.

This scoop has thermal-conducting liquid inside, which means you can easily get 2-3 scoops of ice cream without any of the scoops sticking to the scoop-scoop. The scoop scoops scoops very well. After the 4th scoop, the scoop has a harder time scooping because that thermal-conducting liquid starts to chill, making it slightly harder to scoop scoops with one hand.
10/10 scoop for scooping scoops.

This scoop was amazing, until it sat in the sink overnight.
Before that I was loving the ease of scooping with it. But one late night munchies moment and leaving the dishes in water overnight left my scoop unsafe to use.

works pretty well. depends on the composition of the ice cream - i’d still let the ice cream soften for a few minutes because this thing doesn’t get warm enough fast enough to be digging in straight away, but even if you do it is more effective than trying the same thing with a spoon. overall a time saver

The coating on the scoop washed away. I noticed it when scooping vanilla for a shake. It had a greyish black residue on the ice cream. Realized it was coming off the scoop. I had machine washed it a few times. Perhaps that's why. But, I won't be repurchasing to find out.

I’ve bought a number of scoops w/ the ejector, or even a decent looking kitchenaid scoop in the past. Every one of those has broken. With ice cream scoops, I had figured that they were mostly commoditized and about the same and marginal differences were all that separated them. I was wrong.
My kitchenaid scoop had bit the dust, the handle snapping right off as I tried to muscle through an especially hard pint. So I finally took the plunge and got the Zeroll. It actually works. The scoop
