Hatte vorher einen Musical Fidelity V90-LPS was sicher kein schlechter Phonoverstärker ist dachte ich probiere einmal einen etwas teueren Röhrenverstärker aus, beide in Kombination mit einen 2M Blue Tonabnehmer auf einen Debüt 3 mit Acrylplattenteller. War sehr überrascht das der Unterschied so deutlich hörbar war die Tube Box S2 löst um einiges feiner auf auch der Bass ist schöner weicher. In diesen Preissegment wird es kaum etwas vergleichbares besseres geben! Meine Anlage Marantz SR 9600

Yes this is expensive, but worth every penny. I had gone through 2 phono pre-amps before this. The typical budget pre-amps from Fosi and Douk. However, they are China builds and both units had some issues. They were both returned to Amazon without any problems. Just about all product reviews put the Pro-Ject products in first place. I recently upgraded my preamp to a Vincent tube hybrid so I thought it would be a good idea to go to a tube phono stage preamp as well. It was a very good decision. The combo of project tube phono stage and Vincent tube preamp gives my project carbon turntable new life. It sounds so much better, more alive, beautifully balanced, super defined soundstage. It blows away the old solid state unit. It could be we are in the golden age of reasonably priced audiophile sound. Cheers

Acheté en promo très bonne affaire. Ses différents réglages le rendent compatible avec la plus part des cellules du marché. Comparé a un préampli Rega fono mm mk3 le changement est radical. Ho acquistato questo pre dato che il mio amplificatore non ha una sezione phono. ll prodotto è molto versatile dato che si può scegliere il gain a seconda del tipo di puntina (MC e MM). Lo stadio valvolare permette di avere un bel suono in uscita, caldo, presente, con bassi bilanciati e a fuoco. Ich hatte bisher einen Vivanco 0 8 15 Transistor Vorverstärker. Und das auch nur weil ich seit 20 Jahren meine LPs nicht mehr angegriffen habe. Aber mit neuen Boxen die sowas von toll klingen bekam ich wieder Interesse am Musikhören. Das Problem mit dem Brummen habe ich weg bekommen, indem ich den Erdungdraht des Technics SL-1210 MK2 an das Schirmungsgeflecht des rechten Audiokabels des Plattenspielers gelötet habe. Ein Anklemmen an die Hauserde hat nichts gebracht. Seitdem habe ich nie mehr ein

Die Töne sind sehr feiner und der Bass ist nicht mehr so aggressiv. Habe ein harman Karton Verstärker und einen pro ject Plattenspieler, hab den Röhren Verstärker tupe Box s2 dazwischen angehängt nach wenigen Minuten war ich schon überzeugt von dem Gerät . Das Gerät kitzelt gewisse Töne noch aus eurer Vinyl raus . 👍👍👍👍

This replaced the built-in phono preamp on my Yamaha amp. It’s a much more mellow, relaxed sound - has been called ‘warmer’ in many other reviews. It has reduced the emphasis on the higher frequencies, but has not given up any accuracy. It reminds my of the way my vinyl sounded when I first started listening to it in the 70s. It’s a little pricey - but I’m very happy with the way it sounds.

Utilizzato con un giradischi Project primary e phono. La differenza è notevole da subito. Tanti upgrade portano miglioramenti impercettibili questo invece aggiunge sensibilmente qualità al suono. Necessità di qualche ora di rodaggio. Certo la spesa non è trascurabile ma è comunque un componente versatile che può essere utilizzato con qualsiasi giradischi e setup di amplificazione.

Nel lontano 1986 comprai un impianto così composto. Piatto giradischi SEE REVOLVER (promosso nel 1987 come piatto dell'anno) + apli da 20 watt SUGDEN A28 (in pura classe A), casse 3D ACUSTICS. Mein Setup: NAD D3045+Focal Chora806+Technics SL100(AT VM540VML) in meinem Büro. Ursprünglich hatte ich eine Teac Anlage bestehend aus AX505+PE505 in Betrieb(steht jetzt im Wohnzimmer), weiß deshalb sehr wohl, wie es vernünftig klingen muss. Das tut es auch mit dem NAD und einem WTX Stream Tube als Streamer. Spent two days with the adjustments with this pre-amp and nothing I did would help the muffled sound. The music sounded ok but, when the singing came on it sounded like there was a bag covering my speakers. Went with the less expensive digital pre amp and sounded much better to my ears.

The difference that this ProJect tube preamp makes is incredible. I highly recommend it! This is my 2nd one. I wore out my first one and had to connect my turntable directly into my integrated amplifier. That's when I realized I had grown accustomed to the richer, bolder sound that this preamp provides. I am a bit of an audiophile. I love my tube preamps on my guitar equipment too. So I may be a bit biased towards a warm analog tube sound. I was using the preamp in my Onkyo TX-RZ900. This was a $900 receiver so I 'thought' it would have a decent preamp. But I've learned that adjusting the preamp to fit the specs of your cartridge is CRITICAL. Nicht billig, aber trotzdem ist dieser Vorverstärker sein Geld wert. Keine Störgeräusche, verschiedene Einstellmöglichkeiten von Lautstärkeanhebung, Lastimpedanz und Lastkapazität. Klanglich den zwei vorhandenen in den Geräten eingebauten Phonovorverstärkern (Reloop RP7000MK2 und Denon AVR 4500H) um Längen voraus. Die Optik spielt natürlich auch noch eine Rolle. Kann ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen, wer klanglich etwas mehr rausholen will und auch bereit ist, etwas mehr Geld auszugeben. Natürlich

Initially I was using the phono input on my Denon preamp which then feeds into two mono block amplifiers. I was content for a while despite that the gain was on the low side. After installing this little Tube Box S2 into the Aux 1 input, it took my sound to whole new level, crisp clear sound quality and volume. Fine analog warmth with enough adjustment range for just about any MM or MC cartridge. Tube rolling yields additional gains in sound quality, and mates with just about any amp/preamp system. Wonderful upgrade from the entry level items on the market. NOS Mullard valves gave me a good bump in overall sound quality. Blue LED lights are classy.

I first bought the Fosi tube to see how I liked the tube preamp over solid-state. The tubes made one heck of a difference. I had a problem with one of the tube sockets so I'm returning it and thought I'd try this one and wow!. The sound is so much better. Skip the cheap units and go directly to this one. You won't be disappointed.

So I hook it up all excited to hear my new turn table and nothing.. No sound. I go to select the gain settings and it move twiced when i pushed the button and then it ceased to move up or down when i pressed the buttons. Still no sound. Tried reseating tubes still nothing. Opened it up looking for a loose fuse or something but nothing appeared to be amiss. Sending it back.

I thought i had i descent preamb built in my tt. But WOW.... If i have to discribe it : before the music i was playing seemed to be stuck in the cabinets of my speakers and now it's all over the place. Reverb from instruments seems to go on forever, vocals full of emotion. Shame on me for hesitating so long to buy this.

Paired with nagaoka mp-110. Tried varying combinations of dip switch settings, and different cables. Technics sl-1500c and yamaha aventage rx-A2060. No sound. Cartridge specs does not give load capacitance. Tried dip switch 3 for 100pf and combinations up to 500pf. Zilch, Nada. Returning

The phono pre-amp itself is amazing and quite a wonderful addition to the sound system. However, the only drawback I've noticed is that the stock tubes it comes with struggle with handling higher frequencies (excessive shrilling) even after the initial burn-in. One seemed to run hotter (glow brighter) than the other which (I might be wrong on this one) made me assume that the stock tubes aren't a matching pair. Mein Setup: NAD D3045+Focal Chora806+Technics SL100(AT VM540VML) in meinem Büro. Der Preamp ist wirklich klein aber fein. In Verbindung mit einem Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO kommt ein klasse Sound zustande. Betont vielleicht etwas die unteren Mitten, was Rockplatten richtig drückend macht, aber das geht schon in Ordnung. Leider hat meine eine kleine Macke, lässt sich nicht immer einschalten, aber nach ein paar Versuchen klappt es dann. The difference that this ProJect tube preamp makes is incredible. I highly recommend it! This is my 2nd one. I wore out my first one and had to connect my turntable directly into my integrated amplifier. That's when I realized I had grown accustomed to the richer, bolder sound that this preamp provides. It's a very noticeable difference! Needless to say, I'm back up and running with my new preamp.

Hatte vorher einen Musical Fidelity V90-LPS was sicher kein schlechter Phonoverstärker ist dachte ich probiere einmal einen etwas teueren Röhrenverstärker aus, beide in Kombination mit einen 2M Blue Tonabnehmer auf einen Debüt 3 mit Acrylplattenteller. War sehr überrascht das der Unterschied so deutlich hörbar war die Tube Box S2 löst um einiges feiner auf auch der Bass ist schöner weicher. In diesen Preissegment wird es kaum etwas vergleichbares besseres geben! Meine Anlage Marantz SR 9600

Ho acquistato questo pre dato che il mio amplificatore non ha una sezione phono. ll prodotto è molto versatile dato che si può scegliere il gain a seconda del tipo di puntina (MC e MM). Lo stadio valvolare permette di avere un bel suono in uscita, caldo, presente, con bassi bilanciati e a fuoco. Il filtro subsonico non lo uso, poi dipende anche dal tipo di impianto su cui lo si usa, il mio amplificatore fa già abbastanza sui bassi e non vi è necessità di enfatizzare alcunché. Se il vostro

First of all the reason I bought this unit, was due to dual moving coils cartridge, they produce very low signals and this unit brought my signals up very nicely and warm, makes my turntable sound 100%. Clean and clear, you will notice a difference, there are other phono preamps that are cheaper, due your homework and you will see why this item and others like it are very expensive
