Great material used in making this product. Very comfortable for various sized people. I’m 6’4” and my wife is 5’8” and we can both easily adjust and wear comfortably. Plenty of storage. Only critique would be the separate shade is cumbersome to install/remove/store but the rest of the positives makeup for it. We tried the Kelly first and the Thule is worlds better.

Not cheap, but my girl loves riding around in this thing. Sits up high and can see everything. She has gotten sleepy in it so I know it’s comfy for her. As for the mule (me) it’s pretty dang comfy. I am not a big guy, so the weight of the pack and her weight wears me out well before the comfort of the pack ever would. But it distributes the weight as well as a pack can. If we are out for a kind day, I will move the weigh around from my hips to shoulders to both. That’s the Beaty of this

Es muy cómoda y transpirable, mi hijo va encantado (y seguro), tiene multitud de ajustes y funcionalidades (espejo para ver al peque, fantástico protector solar, compartimento para una bolsa de agua camelback, mochilita extra que se puede llevar integrada o por separado...) y la calidad de los materiales es inmejorable. Además me parece de las más bonitas que he visto. Un acierto sin lugar a dudas.

Got this for our summer camping trip. Our daughter is a tall 19 mos and has outgrown her other carrier. Husband is a big guy and this pack fit well, felt sturdy, and the kid liked it also! Its nice that she sits up so high and has a better view. And the pack holds a lot of stuff.

I'm a dad of many little ones and have previously used Kelty's Carriers. This feels similar if not better in build quality (especially the foam padding), but with a few neat bells and whistles like a removable backpack (that even has shoulder straps), place for a water bladder, included mirror, sun shade, stirrups, etc.
The padding feels so comfy I'm jealous that *I* can't be the one napping on the family hiking outings!

We bought this when our first child was coming up to 18 months and we were planning a trip to Dubrovnik which isn't buggy friendly, used it plenty with her, as others have noted the storage at the bottom is a decent size (great for picnics etc). Now have it out again for our youngest (just coming up to 1) who loves it and allows us to go out for walks in the woods etc which we couldn't with a buggy.

Comparing vs the REI but the Thule is the clear winner. Its a bit pricier but the extras that it comes with is completely worth it. Starting with the baby, the adjustability for my child's comfort is the most important as I noticed that she would complain of discomfort over longer hikes and ask to come down often in the REI. My husband has been talking about us going hiking more, but we found it uncomfortable to take the carrier and then also carry other bags to hold food, water, diapers, wipes, snacks for the babe. It is quite expensive, but if all the straps and things are properly set, then the weight will be distributed on your hips & shoulders, then you’ll be able walking long distances; the pocket at the bottom is quite big; you can detach a small rucksack; the shade accessory is easy to fit.

I’m an aunt to three and I enjoy taking the kids out, so I thought I’d order this for hiking- the baby is just over a year old. It seems that everything is straightforward and secure- I didn’t notice any tearing anywhere.
I haven’t used it yet- just tested, but I’ll update the review if anything negative comes up. The price is quite expensive, but I’ll just be glad to have both arms free!

I’ve used an Osprey poco plus for 4 years, so I thought it would be good to compare it against this Thule pack.
Both packs are highly and easily adjustable to fit the adult and the kid. I don’t think there is much difference there. I also find them both to be comfortable for hour long hikes. I’m sure they would be comfortable beyond that, but an hour is about as long as my kids are happy in the carrier. As a result, it comes down to personal preference regarding the features.

Bag is intuitive to use and the sun screen is easy to apply. Bag is relatively lightweight. Really liked the possibility to remove the small backpack from the back. Biggest issues where probably the toddlers unwilligness to go into the bag.

Osprey advantage:
~ More stable on the ground with the stand pulled out -- this is a big deal because if your child falls asleep and you take a break, you can keep the child in the carrier. The Thule Sapling would fall over.
~ Overall a little smaller, and softer
~ Side open pouches for little things you pick up, e.g. pine cones - pouched

A little fiddly. Take some time to get to know how are the straps and adjustments work. My advice would be that you act confident when putting your child in. And take your time in putting on and getting it off.

I’m an aunt to three and I enjoy taking the kids out, so I thought I’d order this for hiking- the baby is just over a year old. It seems that everything is straightforward and secure- I didn’t notice any tearing anywhere.
I haven’t used it yet- just tested, but I’ll update the review if anything negative comes up. The price is quite expensive, but I’ll just be glad to have both arms free!

I’ve used an Osprey poco plus for 4 years, so I thought it would be good to compare it against this Thule pack.
Both packs are highly and easily adjustable to fit the adult and the kid. I don’t think there is much difference there. I also find them both to be comfortable for hour long hikes. I’m sure they would be comfortable beyond that, but an hour is about as long as my kids are happy in the carrier. As a result, it comes down to personal preference regarding the features.

Wir haben die Trage während des Urlaubs in den Bergen jeden Tag einige Stunden benutzt. Unsere Tochter ist in der Trage sehr zufrieden und schläft sogar ein, was im Kinderwagen so gut wie nie geschieht. Nach zwei Stunden merkt man jedoch das zusätzliche Gewicht (und das Eigengewicht der Trage!). Die Einstellung der Träger und Hüftschoner muss von Beginn an stimmen und alle Gurte müssen sehr stramm sitzen , da sonst schnell Rücken- und Nackenschmerzen entstehen. No bottle/cup holder. Yes it does support a hydration bladder but that alone isn't of any use if you need to boil water, fill a bottle, or dog dish. Other than that it's a very high quality pack. I just expect more from Thule, especially when is costs $350. They could at least include a rain cover.

Ich habe mir auch diese Kindertrage bestellt und dachte die muss echt super sein, weil sie bei den Bewertungen am besten abgeschnitten hat, aber als ich sie dann zu Hause hatte hab ich schnell feststellen müssen, dass sie eigentlich total unpraktisch ist. Es ist immer schwierig alles einzustellen und wenn man die Kraxe hinstellt und das Kind hinein setzt, dann hat die Kraxe keinen Halt mehr. Mein Kind ist darin immer am jammern und ich habe zu tun das ich es anschnallen kann.

I have to say I'm a little dissapointed with the product I recieved. This is not my first Thule purchase, one of the things that attracted me most about this product is the option to order it in their signature shadow gray color.
