This is by far the best compact camera produced by any manufacturer for the past 10 years. The photos are crisp, colourful and clear. It even has a x16 optical zoom and 24mm wide angle lens. It takes great HD movies too. Good in low light conditions that the equivalent Panisonic could never cope with. I am on my third camera now. Not becasue they break but becasue my first one was stolen while my second got run over by my car (don't ask! When looking at new compact cameras in 2019 nothing

war, in der damaligen Zeit, absolut i.O.Gute Auflösung, sehr gut für Urlaubsfotos bei Tageslicht.Weniger gut bei wenig Licht (Disco, Nachtaufnahmen).Bildstabilisator bei Videoaufnahmen leider etwas ruckelig: das kann meine RX 100 M2 wesentlich besser.Dennoch gibts eine Kaufempfehlung.

Really happy with this purchase.
Works fast, takes great quality pictures, even in low-light. Delighted with the 16x zoom and Sony's steady-shot stabilization, which saves saves the situation of there's no tripod. Battery last from 60 to about a 100 minutes depending on how actively u are shooting. Many modes to choose from, most of which are suitable even for complete novices. GPS usually takes about 3-5 minutes to find the position.

Sehr gute Bildqualität. Viele Funktionen und trotzdem eindach zu bedienen. Wie von Sony gewohnt gute Qualität und Haptik. Auch nach Jahren noch aktuell und ein guter Grund, eine RICHTIGE Kamera mit sich zu führen, obwohl heute jedes Smartphone eine einfache Kamera onboard hat.

Kamera funktionierte immer super bis zu dem Tag, als der Blitz nach dem Ausfahren sofort wieder im Gehäuse verschwand.Habe die Kamera den den Vertragskundendienst geschickt und sie kam umgehend unrepariert zurück, da der Blitz nicht mehr lieferbar ist.Auch ansonsten findet man im Internet sehr wenig zu Sony Kameras zB in Ersatzteilshops, so dass man sich nicht selbst behelfen kann.Ein trauriges Beispiel dieser Wegwerfgesellschaft.

Die Kamera kann ich nur empfehlen. Insbesondere der 16x Zoom hat nicht jede Kamera. Das Objektiv ist lichtstark, bietet bei schwachen Lichtverhältnissen also noch etwas Reserve. Auch die Full-HD-Videos sind sehr gut, überrascht hat mich das dabei integrierte Mikro, was wirklich gut ist (keine Profi-Qulität erwarten!). Akku hält auch ausreichend lange, auf meiner Thailand-Reise waren es etwas mehr als 400 Bilder ohne aufzuladen.Einziger Makel: der Blitz - wenn gebraucht - klappt als separater

Still a really great camera, though I kept losing the unique adaptor cables which are essential to this camera; I had to buy 2 more; I now have 3. I have not replaced it since 2012 nor had it repaired. I have have just had to buy 3 replacement batteries for it & 2 still work. I also bought a better more solid outer case.

Takes rubbish pictures. 16.8MP sounds very good but the camera takes the output from that big sensor, puts it through some seriously over-the-top compression, and saves the end result as a rubbish quality picture. The compression and post-processing cannot be turned off or even reduced. I bought this a while ago now, it was in my opinion very expensive, and I've NEVER been happy with the pictures it takes. I bought this mainly for the GPS tagging feature but fell in love with it from day one. The functionality is awesome and I don't use many of the features but the ones I do use work well. It is possible to catch the camera out in bright sunshine and takes a bland photo but by using the multi-shot function you can usually get a good photo. This camera can take some excellent photos. In the default settings, colours are too vivid. As with all such cameras the lack of a viewfinder EVF makes for a struggle in sunny / bright conditions (having to use the rear screen). GPS is a waste of time and battery.

Auch einige kleine Filme, aber die Funktion nutze ich eher nicht.Die Kamera ist klein und handlich, der 16-fache Zoom ist völlig ausreichend (beim Kauf war es mit das Beste auf dem Markt...). Durch die vielen Motivprogramme kann man auch schöne Blumen- und Tierfotos machen. Die Kamera hat ein Programm, wo sie selbständig mehrere Fotos macht und dann zum besten Foto zusammensetzt. Habe diese Kamera seit Dezember 2011 und nutze sie sehr stark als günstige Videokamera für sportliche Aktivitäten.Nach ca. einem 3/4 Jahr fuhr der Blitz nicht mehr raus, liess sich egal bei welcher Einstellung nicht mehr nutzen. Leider dachte ich, dass ich zwei Jahre Garantie hätte, was sich jetzt als falsch herausstellt. Der Sony Support verweist mich auf eine private kostenintensive Reparatur, da die Kamera nur ein Jahr Garantie haben würde.Vor- und Nachteile gegenübergestellt:VORTEILE:-

Eigentlich die beste Kamera, die ich je hatte. Besonders die Videos sind ganz ausgezeichnet und ruckelfrei, selbst bei höchster Zoomstufe, was nicht selbstverständlich ist. Und man kann beim Filmen zoomen und (wenn auch eingeschränkt) Fotos machen. Auch die Fotoqualität ist besser als die aller Kameras, die ich vorher hatte. Mit HDR-Funktion usw. hat die Kamera auch moderne Features.Ein kleines Manko ist der kleine Ein/Aus-Schalter, den man im Dunklen nur sehr schwer bedienen kann. Ein großes

Das Gerät ist ok, aber keine Empfehlung. Richtig gut finde ich die Panoramafunktion.Schlecht ist, das dass Bild im dunkeln zu pixelig wird. Außerdem werdet ihr merken, dass das Display bei Sonne stark spiegelt und sehr schnell matt wird. Es ist kein Zerkratzen, vielmehr löst sich die Öberfläche teilweise ab und man erkennt im hellen dann noch weniger auf dem Display.Bei mir ist übrigen nach einem Jahr auch der Blitz ausgefallen und der Ladestatus wurde nicht mehr angezeigt. Keine Frage - die Kamera hat eine Fülle an Funktionen, was natürlich auch eine entsprechende Einarbeitungszeit erfordert. Außerdem macht sie in Standardsituationen wirklich gute Fotos mit tadelloser Ausleuchtung, insbesondere bei Innenaufnahmen mit normaler Helligkeit (aber ohne Blitz). Nach einem 3/4 Jahr muss ich leider eine schlechte Bilanz ziehen,was diese Kamera betrifft. Zunächst sind die vielen Features ganz nett, das GPS war im Urlaub ein interessantes Gimmick, Positionsbestimmung müsste allerdings viel schneller gehen, wenn man jedes Bild mit Koordinate versehen will. Kamera funktionierte immer super bis zu dem Tag, als der Blitz nach dem Ausfahren sofort wieder im Gehäuse verschwand.Habe die Kamera den den Vertragskundendienst geschickt und sie kam umgehend unrepariert zurück, da der Blitz nicht mehr lieferbar ist.Auch ansonsten findet man im Internet sehr wenig zu Sony Kameras zB in Ersatzteilshops, so dass man sich nicht selbst behelfen kann.Ein trauriges Beispiel dieser Wegwerfgesellschaft.

| Blitz sehr früh kaputt - Sony Support mies! | 31.10.2013
Habe diese Kamera seit Dezember 2011 und nutze sie sehr stark als günstige Videokamera für sportliche Aktivitäten.Nach ca. einem 3/4 Jahr fuhr der Blitz nicht mehr raus, liess sich egal bei welcher Einstellung nicht mehr nutzen. Leider dachte ich, dass ich zwei Jahre Garantie hätte, was sich jetzt als falsch herausstellt. Der Sony Support verweist mich auf eine private kostenintensive Reparatur, da die Kamera nur ein Jahr Garantie haben würde.Vor- und Nachteile gegenübergestellt:VORTEILE:-

Die Kamera ist wegen dem Spezialkabel völlig unpraktikabel! Das Kabel ist selten zur Hand, oder gleich ganz verloren...Wiso nicht einfach Mini-Usb?

Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn. Ich will mich nicht zu sehr in die technischen Besonderheiten und Unterschiede bei den Kameras verlieren.Nach langem Herumsuchen und Vergleichen hatte ich mich für die Sony HX9VN Digitalkamera (16 Megapixel, 16-fach opt. Zoom, 7,5 cm (3 Zoll) Display, 24-mm-Weitwinkel, Full-HD-Videoaufnahme) gold (ca. 280,-) entschieden (preislich vergleichbare Mitkonkurrenten waren Canon Powershot und Panasonic Lumix). Dieser wurde anschließend im Rahmen eines geförderten Stipendiums weiterentwickelt und ist heute ein eigenständiges Spin-Off.
