Fiance LOVES this | 2023-09-23
This knife is very well made and looks great. My fiance was raving when I showed him this. I bought it as a gift. He uses this as a "boot knife" meaning he keeps it in his boot lol. He says it's the perfect size, Is slim enough to fit in there but thick enough to be strong and sturdy and uses this every chance he gets. He even shows it off to friends lol. If you are contemplating getting this just do it. Especially for the working man in your life.

First, another review mentions that this is full tang, probably as a result of the ambiguous S&W product description. I do NOT believe this knife is full tang.
However, for what I paid ($12.08), it is a nice little knife! It came a little dull, so I sharpened it to a pretty fine edge. The handle is comfortable, but you could also wrap it with some paracord to make it even more comfortable (an then you have paracord if you need it!). The size of the knife makes it a true boot knife--not too

The top of the dagger is very sharp which is good but had to sharpen it and when I was the black coating on the blade was coming off. It’s easy to sharpen and the sheath is ok, it’s just the sheath seems really cheaply made.

If you zoom in on the picture, the tip of the blade is not centered , this is exactly how it will arrive. The steel is fine but the low price is most likely due to that beveling issue.

Very nice knife for the price. Over all, very pleased. Only hit would be, I’d preferred a little more length and a tad bit width to the handle. I really like the design of the blade and weight. I’d say it’s capable of getting the job done without any issues. And having the leather or pleather (?) sheath is a plus. So tired of all these kydex knife sheaths.

I bought one of these about 3 years ago, blade is still sharp out of the box. I used it often for packages and bags of animal feed. Not quite small enough to comfortably fit in a pants pocket, but not terrible either. Would probably work fine as a boot knife. Leather scabbard with clip hasn't seen any wear after 3 years.
Definitely worth it at $16, and seems to go on sale for even less now and then. I just might get another since it's on sale again.

Let's be honest, this dagger is not really for cutting wood. It's a dagger. It most excels at stabbing flesh (in self defense, let's hope).

Didn't even use it to cut anything, let alone pry anything. Had it in its sheath in my boot trying to decide if I wanted to spend more money on a quality boot knife and within two hours the blade broke off at the handle.
Absolute junk, not worth buying.

Point off center and blunt, blade came cracked. | 2023-08-07
The knife comes pretty sharp, but not too sharp. The point is off center and overall feels pretty cheap. The blade came cracked on both sides so I probably won't be doing anything too intense with it. The sheath is pretty good, has a clip and loop with a button lock. I've noticed in the reviews that coming damaged is not too rare.
Edit: please read 1 star reviews on anything you buy. I studied the company a bit more and their practices are scummy and cheap. I cannot recommend this brand

The tip flattened out after one stab and it isn't that sharp. Also the blade isnt entirely metal, the center of it is made out of the same material as the handle and that causes a lot of friction while cutting. 3/10 very disappointed

Packaging: The knife & leather sheath comes in a sealed bag with a large desiccant bag within the box.
Leather Sheath: The face is molded to the knife blade with a button guard strap, while the back is flat with a riveted spring belt clip and receiver guard strap. The release/receiver button is exceptionally smooth with a riveted thumb stud. Stitching is sturdy.
The Knife: Both blade and handle are a bit smaller than I am used to, which is a normal trade-off for stealth. The sharp double

This cuts so damn easily it’s scary. Just touching it barely to see how sharp it was cut me. Cuts through paper and tape and opens boxes received in mail with such ease I have to do it slowly and cautiously because if not I will do it too fast and I’ll cut my self. Multiple times that’s happened. It’s so damn sharp. Such a great great value for money

I got this as a knife to stock up on for self defense and also a survival situation in case SHTF. Anyways, I liked that it's full tang. It's super light, but feels really good in the hand. My fiancé' has a pretty big hand and he really likes how it feels. He originally thought he wanted a bigger knife such as the Kbar, but when I found this and ordered it last night, it was here 5 hours later and I got to surprise him with it in the morning. He is a s&w fan, so it worked out

I've had this knife for almost a decade now. Used it on a number of occasions, resharpened it at few times.
It's durable, easy to resharpen but the steel doesn't retain a sharp edge for very long so you have to resharpen often if you're going to give it a lot of use (like any knife)
Very solid feel full tang, and the tip hasn't broken in the entire time I owned it.
Also a good throwing knife

I liked the looks of it but it feels like it is cheap cheap and it just don’t take an edge and I get a razor sharp edge on most all knives that are not made of junk steel this is a fine example of Chinese workmanship at its cheapest smith and Wesson should be ashamed to sell this low end stuff to their customers to think that they represent that the FBI Hostage rescue team would anything of this quality is false advertising at its best but for the money if you want a decorative piece then it’s

The handle is too small. I would feel in danger if I had to protect myself using this knife because the handle doesn’t feel like it grips in your hand that well.
