I’m now waiting for my third copy of this great piece of music. The first two had tons of surface noise even after thoroughly cleaning with professional equipment. I’m praying the next one is better, the mix is great but the vinyl itself has problems. My friend bought one and his is perfect. The music is well worth the effort to get a good copy.

I have been looking for this album for several months now and it has been way too expensive from other sources for me to justify purchasing a copy. The seller said it was a first release , but it was the remastered reissue on 180 gram vinyl and that was the copy that I wanted to purchase anyway. So I actually got the copy I wanted that is three times the price on other websites that specialize in vinyl pressing. This is a still sealed copy as well and other copies I’ve considered have been used

Hesitated due to the mixed vinyl reviews, but it's an excellent pressing. Flat, good volume, and no surface noise. Glad to have this classic on wax.

I’m not sure if this was the fault of the owner or the shipping company but vinyl came damaged. Top right corners are bent, the vinyl plays beautiful though.

Even though there were some bad reviews, I ordered anyways. I gotta say that my copy is perfect and plays great. Not a scratch or blemish on it. It sounds great.

Not much to say other than I love this albumAnd I love the vinyl pressing. Beautiful packaging and very crisp and loud sound.this is by far the best sounding out of the Smashing Pumpkins reissues.

I was hesitant to purchase this because of several reviews mentioning bad QC and scuff marks on the new vinyl. The vinyl I received was new and in mint condition. Besides the rough edges around the record itself (which did not effect the playability of the record) the vinyl, and the packaging where very nicely done.What I did notice as a downside to this release was the overall volume at which this was mixed. It is very low output. No chance of sharing the joys of GISH on vinyl with the

| (Vinyl review) The most off-center pressing I've ever seen. | 27.01.2021
This is a fantastic album that was ruined by a horrible pressing. Side B is pressed so off-center I can literally watch my cartridge sway back and fourth a good 3/8 inch as it's playing. Holding the record is almost comical because it's basically an oblong shape. The pitch variation because of this defect is very noticeable and completely ruins the last half of the record. Such a shame because the rest of the record is dead quiet and sounds great. Another casualty of the modern vinyl

A great debut album and remaster. I won't decrease the stars for this, but I almost felt like the item had been repackaged and sold as new. The protective paper record sleeve was all crumpled and pretty heavily folded over in spots, as if it had been carelessly shoved back into the cover. The center labels on the record are torn in spots at the hole and lifting a bit on both sides. Just looks like records I have that have been lightly used.

I won't go into the details about the music because if you're here, chances are, you've already heard it. What I will say is that this particular pressing by Virgin is brilliant. Everything from the packaging design to the actual quality of the record is perfect from start to finish. This is how all reissues should be done. Highly recommended for all good music lovers!
