The Burger Van Man makes a burger out of Rats! | 2023-06-26
I liked the book because it’s interesting and it’s quite funny how The Burger van man is obsessed with Rats mixed up with some burgers 🍔 David Walliams actually knows how to Crack someone up. These Truly are the Hilarious bestsellers of all time. So factual and informative. Well Done David 😀😃😄😁

I like this book because it is about a girl called Zoe and she has a very unhappy life because her Mum is a fat lady who just lays on the coach all day and her pet Gingernut died and then this mean burger van man who wants to put her new pet in a burger!

My kids love reading David Walliams books. Brilliantly funny and extremely appealing to children of all ages, even adults (I love reading them to the kids). Reading age would be from 8 years to 12 years.

Ratburger is a very nice and engaging book! some parts are a bit sad and sometimes really happy! I didn't really like the idea of rats being turned into burgers since they are one of my favourite animals. Overall Great!! :)

Ratburger is an amazing book. It has lots of twists and turns from the characters. It is one of David Walliams' more scary books, but mixed with humour. I definitely think 9-10 year olds would enjoy and love this, and even older people as well!

Great book, I bought this to read along with my Nurture Group and they loved it. The pupils were very able to answer comprehension questions and developed a better understanding of relationships and motives.

[SPOILERS]
A unique and original story by Walliams; but one that's two chapters, and the epilogue, too long in my opinion: for me the story ended when Tina and her Farther raided the factory, won, and then painted the van they'd taken over. I read what came after that, but I'm not sure I absorbed it to any great length.
Despite that this isn't Walliams worst worst work, and is a story I much enjoyed reading. A unique tale that doesn't scream "I want to be Dahl by writing

This is the 5th David Walliams book and I feel I must write a review of the dark side to ALL his books. I have twins who are 6 years old and loved every Ronald Dahl book there is and after reading them all we turned to David Walliams as a hopeful alternative. Sadly I cannot read any of his books without filtering pages and sometimes entire chapters of content about death.
