Use it for meeting rooms, it is very easy to configure. Basically if no one try to hack it - it will work for years with no problems

The Polycom Soundstation line is the only conference room phone that I will use anymore. First experience was with an older Soundstation Duo. Excellent phone. The IP 5000 is just as good. Meant for smaller conference rooms than the Duo. The whole line of them has fantastic audio quality. Soundstations are workhorses. They just work, and they keep working.

I purchased this phone and the PoE injector. The phone came on but the ethernet port didn't work. There is no way to update the software on the phone or program it or use it if the ethernet port is bad.
Unfortunately, because we were doing construction on the conference room, by the time I unboxed the item, it was outside the return window and could get no remedy from Amazon or the Prime Seller. It has taken me 2 months working with Polycom to get an RMA so this device can get replaced

The best speaker phone I’ve ever used. Polycom sets the bar high for office phone products. It’s built like a tank, and seems to have enough microphone sensors where a group of 10 of us can sit around the phone and be on a conference call where everyone in the room can be heard. The PoE feature is also really cool because you don’t have to worry about running separate power and Ethernet to the phone. Anytime you can cut the number of cables, it’s worth it. Highly recommend.
