Bulb was just a bit too tight for the reading lamp in our father and son light, though I did just manage to slot it in. Needs to be 2mm shorter and the same in the diameter.

I'm very pleased with these bulbs. I'm using three of them in a pendant lamp in our hall, and they are sufficient to adequately light the hall for a total of 7.5W between them! They are more expensive than other G9 LEDs you might find on Amazon, but you pay for quality. I previously tried some of these cheaper alternatives (made in China), but one of them exploded and went up in flames. It's definitely worth paying extra for the peace of mind. This bulb is one of the very few that can dim. All my lights are Philips. They are the best and I must have at least 60 dimmable spot lights in the house.

Useless! Will be way to big to fit in most lamps, luckily I managed to unscrew the base of my lamp. wish I hadn't bothered as the bulb is NOT dimmable, it flickers and does not work properly! Returned for refund!

Firstlyy they were practically no use to me because they were too big for the fitted lampshade. That said if your lampshade did fit over them they do work well importantly they do dim without making a horrible buzz, so I would recommend them.

The product is way too big for the light fitting. I’ve seen this problem highlighted in a number of other reviews. I definitely would not recommend this product as it is not fit for purpose, literally.

Lampadina ideale per una luce da tavolo o da comodino. L'ho comprata in sostituzione alla precedente alogena e ho notato subito la differenza, con questa il paralume della luce si può toccare e spostare senza problemi. Per il consumo mi devo solo fidare. La lampadina LED è un attimo più lunga delle lampadine tradizionali ma è esteticamente accettabile

The light quality of this bulb is good - slightly dimmer than the 19W halogens I have now, but it's utterly useless as it's far too big and doesn't fit in the shade.
So if you have plenty of space I would recommend this, otherwise you'll need to get one that is closer to the size of a real G9

The only problem with this, as others have noted, is that, in a 'father and son' lamp, the bulb stays on when the dimmer switch is fully off, so you have to switch off at the mains. This defeats the object of the 'father and son' lamp, which is to be able to have the 'father' uplighter on while the 'son' reading lamp is off.

Ottimo temperatura del colore (Luce calda come le tradizionali lampadine) Regolabile, consumo irrisorio. Consigliato ! L'unica incognita è la durata ma sono ottimista perché Philips, sui led, è affidabilissima !

A rather bright bulb, but be warned, IT IS HUGE. I'd originally bought this to fit into a mother and child light but it's way too big for that. Instead I have put it into a KNUBBIG light from IKEA which I was also looking to upgrade to LED.

Not fault to this bulb as it works but our light fitting can't seem to take a dimmable LED bulb. Hence even after we have switch off our lamp, it still leaves a soft glow.

Pacco puntuale nella consegna, curato nell doppiaconfezione. Lampadina led attacco g9 cercata da tanto tempo per la caratteristica dimmerabile. Trovata!!! Ma non dimmerabile come le vecchie calde alogene, queste sono proprio sensibili mentre le Led in questione accettano il dimmer a patto che rimanda montata almeno 1 ALOGENA. Diversamente si va incontro a cali di tensione sfarfallii e mancati controlli di funzionamento. Consiglio: almeno 1 alogena montata con queste led, non pretendere una

I personally like lots of light, but having been 'lumbered' with a room with existing wall-lights w/GU9 that I don't want to rip out right now, there is little choice. The lamps (rated 33W) were fitted with 48W G9 incandescent - thus I guess it was always hard to match. So what about the product:
- Larger than your normal incandescent so ensure you buy from somewhere (like AZ) you can easily return and don't open all boxes! Just check 1 first ;)

A rather bright bulb, but be warned, IT IS HUGE. I'd originally bought this to fit into a mother and child light but it's way too big for that. Instead I have put it into a KNUBBIG light from IKEA which I was also looking to upgrade to LED.

Well, The first thing that will strike you is the size, these are not small when viewed along side your normal G9s but they fitted fine even in a very small light fitting designed to squeeze in a standard G9 but do be aware. They work very well. The light given off is nicely in the center of the range, not to warm not to cold. I have two fitted to glass wall lights and the light is directed a little more in a upward beam than with standard bulbs. The big issue for me was to get dimmable LEDs

They do what they say and use a lot less energy than a halogen bulb and will last a lot longer. Unfortunately as they are slightly longer than the halogen bulbs they are proud of the light shade and as the light in these bulbs is at the end as opposed to the whole bulb it was too bright and looked odd.
Our light shades are short so this would depend on your light shade.

Ich habe diese LED als Ersatz in einer Wandbeleuchtung an einem Dimmer (eltaco EUD12DUC) gewählt, die bisher mit regulären Halogenbirnen ausgestattet war. Der Dimmer selbst dimmt von 3-100%. Ab ca. 70% Dimmung nach oben ist keine weitere Erhellung der LED mehr wahrnehmbar. Zu Kompatibilität der LED mit dem eltaco EUD12DUC ist zu sagen, daß bei Nutzung der normalen, linearen Dimmkurve Sprünge im Dimmverhalten festzustellen sind. Darüber hinaus besitzt die Lampe keinen sog. "Dimtone"
