I like the misfit shine, but I got a lemon. This shine worked well until 12 days after I could return it. Now it is not transferring data to the app and I can't get any customer service for it. Don't waste your money!

I got this wearable device because I didn’t want a watch tracking device. I initially loved my misfit shine device for its look, ease, tracking and accuracy but the band kept popping off; 3 times in one day. Not much use if the wristband is weak. Sadly, I lost the device on day 6. If you get this device, get a band that secures correctly, not a ball you push through a hole.

I was really looking forward to getting this new fitness tracker that didn't need to be recharged every few days. I was so disappointed when I received it. First of all, I was never able to install the battery so that I could use it. There is a special "key" that is sent with the item. You are supposed to be able to insert the key in the slot in the device and then pry open the casing to install the battery. I watched a YouTube video prior to purchase. It looked pretty easy.

My Fitbit Zip died and I didn’t want to pay over $100 for another. The Shine was $39 and it works wonderfully. Uses a cr2032 battery that lasts months so no annoying charging time. It’s sleek to wear and comfortable. The app has what you need and you can joint Stridekick to be in walking challenges. Good purchase.

I really like this product. It is my second one. Now I find out that the company refuses to update their app and will shut it down on April 1. That means all misfit products will be obsolete and unusable. Hate to say it, but I saw it coming for a while now. They tried to go big and failed.

Is a little glitchy now & then. Very low profile & comfortable to sleep in. I had one years ago, but the disc popped out & I lost it. Tried other brands/types since, but came back to original Misfit Shine.

Great seller - Love the Misfit | 2021-07-13
Thanks to the seller, I was able to get this replacement Shine at a great price. The battery was dead, but I had an extra one handy. The seller is Family Trust Sales - through Amazon.
I have always liked the Shine for the simplicity of it. I don't want/need bells and whistles, I just prefer basic accountability.
I decided not to upgrade, just get a new Shine. Couldn't be happier to have one, again.

Je suis très très déçue... deux semaines d'attente, puis 26 € de frais de douane à la livraison pas prévus, pour une boite dont on voit de suite qu'elle est déjà ouverte et un produit qui est reconditionnement : le bracelet est en bleu (modèle Topaze) et le cadran est en rouge. Je connais très bien de produit (j'en ai déjà eu 4) donc je sais comment c'est sensé être. C'est inacceptable à ce prix là ! Je renvoie le tout et tant pis pour mon cadeau d'anniversaire.

Easy set up except the battery was dead, luckily I happened to have another here at home and then the set up was super easy, unlike fitbit. The box looked old and the chain was knotted up and the battery was dead. I ordered black but they sent metallic teal. The quick start book could stand to have more details but overall I'm happy with my purchase!

This is my third Shine, although the last one was a Shine 2. (The other two were lost, not broken - I usually clip them on my shoe and sometimes do dumb stuff to knock them off.) I keep going back because the price is right, the device and app are easy to use and I don't feel like I'm paying for features I'll never use. Wichtig beim Shine, meiner Meinung nach: man sollte wissen was man will.
Wer einen Tracker mit allem Schnickschnack sucht und Wert auf absolute Genauigkeit legt, ist hier falsch!
Die Stärke des Shine ist mehr sein Aussehen und die Tatsache, dass er wasserdicht ist. Das Tracking ist eher ein grober Anhaltspunkt ob man heute ausreichend aktiv war. Für meine Ansprüche reicht das völlig, das mag aber nicht

die Shine sieht zwar auf den ersten Blick ganz nett und unaffällig aus, ist aber eher unpraktisch. Ein doppel Tap auf die Uhr verrät den Punktestand des Tages und danach die Uhrzeit. Die wird mit zwei LEDs angezeigt und man muss sich ein wenig eingewöhnen.
Die Aktivitiäten kann man am Handy in der App festlegen. Leider gibt der Punktestand keinen wirklichen Rückschluss darauf, was man geschafft hat und man bleibt im Dunkeln welche Ziele erreicht sind und welche nicht.

Reading the time takes a bit of getting used to but nonetheless functional in bright light or in water! I've owned and lost two shines over the years. Generally they work well and I love that you do not have to wear it on your wrist. This one is not working well. It was nearly impossible to install the battery. Now, only a few days in, it shows the battery is low. Obviously it is a lemon. I would order directly from Misfit but they have discontinued this tracker.

Well first, trying to get into place the battery was not as described in directions. A diagram of where to look for the little tab would have really helped. I was only interested in a clip on (I personally think silicone straps are incredibly ugly, I wear real jewelry) and I planned to clip to my bra. It couldn't even hold on for one day. I put it front an center, in the gap. It felt secure. Not. It fell off sometime during the day. so I never got to try it out for anything. I think

Nein bin ich nicht, unter anderem da sich das Gerät nur nach Lust und Laune also hin und wieder via Bluetooth mit dem Samsung S8+ verbinden lässt, testweise mit einem anderen Smarttelefon getestet allerdings das gleiche Problem.
Es tut mir Leid aber ich würde es nicht noch mal kaufen, kann es aber auch nicht weiter empfehlen.

Bought this for my dad so he could wear it on his neighborhood walks. It’s pretty accurate compared to my Misfit 2 which I don’t go anywhere without. I hope it helps him continue his healthy trend! If not, then it wasn’t too much of a waste of money.

I like the flexibility of where I can wear it because I do not do anything on my wrists. It easily attached to my swimsuit top for snorkeling.Downside is that when wearing on the waist, it can easily break loose from the magnet, thus making it easy to lose.

Well, this an unusual item. I was looking for a new fitness tracker as my FitBit is kinda bulky and uncomfortable. This Misfit Shine received great reviews so I thought, ok let's go. Firstly you HAVE to have a Bluetooth compatible PHONE to use with this as you HAVE to use the APP, to see your steps, sleep info, etc. AND the biggest surprise for me, there is no time display. LOL. It counts steps which is what I wanted but the app doesn’t have a section to count calories like Fitbit and help you determine calories for the day. Plus this turn steps and activities into points which mean nothing to me. I wish I had just stuck with Fitbit which aesthetically isn’t as pretty but it does much more.

I love my misfit shine. I swim and it has been great. Unfortunately, the website that will let you see your month's totals and so on is full of large font offensive language. Apparently they think that if you take out the vowels and replace them with a different symbol, it is not offensive. It is offensive. I just want to check my progress, I don't want that garbage. Clean up your website and I'll give a 5 star rating.

When it did work, it tracked exercise and sleep decently well. If you're looking for something that will work long term, look elsewhere.

Ich HATTE sie jetzt 3 Monate und habe sie verloren!!
Wie hier schon so viele geschrieben haben, kann auch nicht besonders gut halten wie die befestigt ist.
Und wie viele auch schreiben, kann man die Anzeige bei viel Licht nicht mehr ablesen.

I really like this product. It is my second one. Now I find out that the company refuses to update their app and will shut it down on April 1. That means all misfit products will be obsolete and unusable. Hate to say it, but I saw it coming for a while now. They tried to go big and failed.

Je suis très très déçue... deux semaines d'attente, puis 26 € de frais de douane à la livraison pas prévus, pour une boite dont on voit de suite qu'elle est déjà ouverte et un produit qui est reconditionnement : le bracelet est en bleu (modèle Topaze) et le cadran est en rouge. Je connais très bien de produit (j'en ai déjà eu 4) donc je sais comment c'est sensé être. C'est inacceptable à ce prix là ! Je renvoie le tout et tant pis pour mon cadeau d'anniversaire.

This is the worst product I have ever purchased.The battery doesn’t install properly. It is flimsy inside and doesn’t line up properly.It will not click shut with the battery installed.Never even got past the beginning.

Since the beginning, they have always considered Android to be "compatibility software" while exclusively designing their products for Apple hardware. Trustami durchsucht regelmäßig das Internet nach neuen Bewertungen, um diese an einem Ort zu bündeln und so auf einen Blick für Interessenten bereit zu stellen.
Wir möchten es jedem Internetnutzer so einfach wie möglich machen sich über Produkte zu informieren. Anstatt sich nur auf eine Quelle zu verlassen, bieten wir eine zentrale Anlaufstelle, um mit wenig Aufwand sämtliche Bewertungen zu einem Produkt zu erhalten.
Trustami erhebt selbst keine Bewertungen und ist als unabhängige Instanz darum bemüht das Internet transparenter zu gestalten. Es werden automatisch gängige Internetplattformen und Webseiten durchsucht, um Bewertungen zu finden und Produkte zu identifizieren. Unser Anspruch ist hierbei eine hilfreiche Zusammenstellung an Produktinformationen anzubieten, auf die sich jeder verlassen kann. Die Zusammenführung von Produktinformationen erfolgt bestmöglich und kann verschiedene Produktvarianten umfassen.
Trustami ist als Projekt aus der Technischen Universtität Berlin (TUB) entstanden mit dem Ziel das Internet vertrauenswürdiger zu machen. Forschungsarbeiten im Bereich „Social Media Analytics & Big Data“ am Lehrstuhl für Informations- und Kommunikationsmanagement (IKM) lieferten einen ersten Prototyp, der die Erhebung und Sammlung von Reputationsinformationen ermöglichte. Dieser wurde anschließend im Rahmen eines geförderten Stipendiums weiterentwickelt und ist heute ein eigenständiges Spin-Off.
