The slicer is well enough built but cuts cheese too thinly leaving it disintegrated and pretty much useless if u want a slice of cheese. Of course I blamed the cheese until my wife pointed out that she was getting slices of cheese using the peeler.
Pretty disappointed given the straight forward task. I’ll have to look again at other options and suggest you do the same and not waste ur time and money with this.

After years of watching husband trying to cut cheese properly I decided to see if this would help. He loves it. So easy to cut a large slice of cheese for sandwiches now. Its very sharp and quite sturdy. Great product for the price

Bought this as for my new home. I have used these for years when living with my parents.
The hidden blade is ridiculously sharp I took half my finger off with it! And ended up in hospital with stitches and concussion after fainting
I will never understand why it’s that sharp my father who is a chef has never known such utensil to be this sharp.

Looks nice, slices well.
It lasted about 19 months, then the blade came away from the handle. Bit disappointed since the previous one I had lasted me about 30 years…
Would I buy the same one again? No.

our old cheeseslicer lasted 10 years, and it was only because of an accident with the wooden handle did it break, this thing was wobbly after 2 weeks, i was so dissapointed
it also didnt cut great and was taking chunks off at the end of the slice from cheddar, which was bad enough but once the wobbly bit started between the handle and the slicer we just put it in the bin as there was no way to tighten it back up
truly awful and would not recommend

Worked really well for 8 months then the handle just disconnected, and as it has some internal method of attaching to the slice, you can’t even fix it yourself. Bit shoddy. In the bin. Waste of money, buy a one piece

Slices thin. With the cost of living it’s sometimes cheaper to buy blocks of cheese. I always find I cut my cheese too thick, so this is “grate”

In just over a month of receiving this cheese slicer it has fallen apart, I'm not even sure what the part is called, but it's at the top of the handle, the silver cover has come away from the slicer and is now just rattling around. Also, I was not used to a sharp cheese slicer and want to be warn anyone who buys a new one to be careful. The slicer got stuck for a split second and then carried on at great speed, taking the cheese and a bit chunk or my thumb with it! There was a lot of

This is ok but but not very good unless the cheese is really hard. It does not work on Norwegian brown cheese (bearing in mind it's a Norwegian invention, primarily for this cheese!) which is just a touch softer than for example cheddar cheese. This is quite disappointing. You can't slice it as it gets stuck. Otherwise it looks nice and seems sturdy, shame about the design flaw.

Arrived on time and as described. I've got a variety of different slicers and graters, but this item does the job best for just getting some simple slices from a block and is the easiest to use and clean. Great value.

After using this product on very few occasions since purchasing it in April (it is now August), the handle and the blade have separated. Very poor quality product. I would strongly recommend that you do not buy this product. I would return this item, but I cannot find a means of doing so.

..after only a few uses the head became loose where it connects to the handle, so it rattles and water can get into the handle when you wash it. Also likely that it will evetually come apart with enough use.
Still slices cheese just fine, but would not buy it again.

I love cheese but wanted to cut down a bit for weight-control!
This easy to use slicer means I can still have a bit of cheese in a sandwich or on toast but without the guilt as it slices very thin. Slicer needs a firm grip and a straight-ish block to slice from but works well.
