It looks good quality, but the speed of writing and reading is very basic, for that price you get better options, note before I used almost everything Kingston, only in this case there are better options for quality price.

It has been really reliable so far for expanding the storage of my Macbook. It does get quite hot when transferring or streaming files to or from the drive, but in a good enclosure, it dissipates it well. Performance has been stable and reliable so far. I haven't measured them, but the transfer speeds have been great too. Silent operation. Connects quickly, and reconnects on sleep/wake. It's a tiny

Poco voy a poder aportar con esta reseña, pero vamos allá:
Disco lo suficientemente rápido y fiable para trabajar en entornos profesionales como la edición de vídeo pesado. Kingston siempre ha sido una marca muy contrastada, y en mi caso me ha venido genial montar la versión de 2 TB en una caja ACASIS para ampliar el limitado espacio del Mac Mini y ahorrarme un buen dinero frente a los precios oficiales.

This SSD worked flawlessly for 2 years, but now it is showing signs of pending failure. The drive will freeze up with 100% usage. After doing research, it looks like other consumers have been having the same issues with this drive. I would say this is a risky drive to use without a backup solution.

Unless I somehow formatted it wrong, this thing is only 3.63 tb, doesn't come with a screw, I don't have many complaints since all I really needed was more space.

My review of 3 stars is not based on the product itself, but due to shipping delays by the seller. I ordered the Used - Very Good Kingston NV3 SSD on April 7, 2025, and the item did not ship from the seller's facility until April 21st. The package was shipped to and arrived at an Amazon facility on the 22nd, and I received the item on the 25th.
The product description of "Used - Very Good" is accurate. The drive had less than 50 hours on it. Being a used SSD drive, I understood

Este SSD de Kingston es una maravilla en cuanto a velocidad y rendimiento. La instalación fue muy sencilla y el sistema lo reconoció al instante. Las velocidades de lectura y escritura son excelentes para tareas diarias, gaming y edición ligera. Además, no se calienta en exceso y ofrece una relación calidad-precio difícil de superar. Una opción muy recomendable si buscas un buen SSD PCIe 4.0 a precio competitivo.

You would think they would include the screws, the tiny screws that hold the drive in, but nope.
Yes, it works exactly as good as the specs, but I'm taking a star off for not including the screws that I then had to drive around to find a local parts store to get. Yes, most MOBO will have the screws already there ready for expansion, but not all. With what you're paying, they can include a screw that costs them literally less than a penny to include

It resolved slow launch of applications and tasks made it easier to do things and is more of a reliable storage system. Fits perfectly and well designed. I would highly recommend.
