Had the board for almost a year now, and it never ran right. Always had a cyclical boot where it would fail the first boot and then work after it auto restarted. Was over all very slow and any changes to the bios would more often than not just crash the pc. My inexperience made me think it was my fault. But no, after it crashed this week after a simple restart, it blue screened. I took it in to a pc repair shop and was informed the board was just straight up faulty after they did some

I have been building PCs for 15 years, never in my life experienced a worst Mobo than this one. It started with not recognizing my 7950x. that was sorted by BIOS update. Noticed that the PC taking forever to boot, thought it was memory learning thing. Then to my disappointment it died by itself after 3 days of operation.
I am very much feel dejected. I could have purchased better mobos for lower prices but because I like GIGABYTE I decided to go with this. I did some googling and to my surprise

My only complain about it is, it doesn't have water cooling headers to connect pump and water flow sensors. i guess for the price is too much to ask.

So I went from enjoying this motherboard to hating it and Gigabyte.
I upgraded to F11 with 2 NVME drives JUST fine, but once the next update came up I lost the 2nd NVME drive.
Had to flash back to F11.
New update comes out...lost 2nd NVME drive...
Had to flash back to F11...
All the wayy up to F22. And Gigabyte just tells me to put the nvme drive in another slot.
That's all nice and all but requires me to rip the computer apart, and I lose 8x lanes from the GPU when I do this.

Works great for my build, and is reasonably priced compared to other X670 boards. No issues so far, the board POSTed and just worked right out of the box with the Ryzen 9 7950X3D and two sticks of RAM. I used the G.SKILL Flare X5 Series with AMD Expo, 6000 MT/s. I have flipped on Expo in the BIOS and it runs at 6000 MHz so far without issue, almost 6 months now. I'm not doing anything fancy, or anything that requires high customization or unique features, just gaming and entertainment.

built a system with AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, G.SKILL Flare X5 DDR5 32GB. No OC. it ran very well for months until I upgraded BIOS to ver F21a last month and Gigabyte Control Center. GCC was not able to use at all (program existed without any indication after execution)
Got various intermittent windows crashes (memory, IRQ, etc) then I went to gigabyte website and found BIOS ver F21a is removed, F22a is latest. Also a new GCC released on Jan 2024.
Upgraded both, system looks stable again.

I've 6 gigabyte board and by far this is the worse by bio set up down grade you purchase four ssds you only get to use three if you want the motherboard to perform using all four ssds down grade its performance do not up grade the bios from f11 to f20 it will malfunction and destroy your programming in short it's a nightmare never again!

Very nice motherboard. One downside is Gigabyte has decided to not include a printed manual. Really Gigabyte? This not a bargain basement motherboard. Anyway, that aside, it is a remarkably high quality mobo and I had no issues flashing the BIOS or using it with a Ryzen7 7700X out of the box. Thick and durable PCB. Nice design. Very Solid board, better build quality than any board I've owned yet. Solid VRM, etc.
BIOS (F21a at time of review) is still a little janky, more than a year since release, but this seems common with AM5 boards in general.
For this price, I expected 10GB LAN (only comes with 2.5GB) and more PCIEX options (that do not conflict with SATA ports - the conflict is documented in the manual).
Main reason for 3 stars - the CMOS battery came dead, which makes every hardware change a pain in the ass

I bought this board for a new build and it was really easy to put together I was really impressed by how thick and sturdy it is. Flashing the bios was super easy and the gigabyte tools make it even easier to flash. So Far so good with this. It did not come with a manual but that was easily found online. Flashed the bios to version f13 and it very stable. This board fits in a Corsair ICU 5000d RGB Airflow case with out issues.

Over $700 with tax buys you alot of motherboard. In the case of the Gigabyte X670E Extreme, you get a fancy glossy motherboard box, poor quality BIOS releases, and an ill concieved design which requires a complete tear-down of the board for a simple CMOS battery change. Did I mention the fancy box? What about that cool marketing video? Check out that video on the Gigabyte web site - top notch!

Gigabyte makes great boards and this is no exception. It ticked all the boxes at the time of purchase:
- Newest processor(s)
- Mini-ITX (for the case)
- Sufficient ports for all the "stuff" I needed to plug in via USB
- Sufficient PCI slots
That said, I really wish this board had 4 memory slots. I get it's a tiny little thing, but there are other mini-ITX boards that support 4 DIMMS and that's my only real complaint. Other than that, it's a fantastic motherboard.

Lately though I have been building more and more purpose built computers for each task. My files now live on a 256TB truenas server and my rendering is handled by a HPE dl580 packing 1TB of ram and two 7900XTX's. Das wird eine kurze Rezension, da das Aorus X570 AORUS ELITE (Socket AM4/X570/DDR4/SATA 600/ATX)
hier nur noch gebraucht zu bekommen ist. Kurz gesagt, es läuft, und das seit über 2 Jahren in einem
Mediaserver 24/7. Ohne einen Ausfall. BIOS habe ich aktuell gehalten, der Prozessor wurde einmal
getauscht (Ryzen 7 3700x zu 5800x). Alles

The board is solid and sturdy like a rock. here are some eyecatching things for me apart from the spec sheet:
The board backplate is covered with black stainless steel plate completely, only back of cpu is expose so you can work with your water-cooling. Was not sure how many Gen5 Nvme ports I will get but apparently they put two Gen5 with huge heat sinks. On board there is a power button that you can power up the pc. I am using an open case design, so I didnt connect any power button etc.

Most likely the bios is getting stuck on legacy(csm) drivers and not allowing uefi to detect the card. Throw in an old card that uses legacy and it will allow you to see bios to change that setting from both to uefi only.

Was listed as "Used/Good" condition, which I was unaware of when I ordered. I was cautiously optimistic when I saw the "product is on its way" email that showed that information to me. A basic visual inspection shows its issues, I will not be plugging any of my new parts into this paperweight.

I bought this MB from Amazon and I'm writting this review in hopes that Aorus takes notices of some of us having lots of problems with RAM and OC. My board is unstable even at default 4800mhz RAM speed. I get random crashes here and there for no reason. Sometimes it won't boot until I reset the CMOS, sometimes it shows a CPU or DRAM red LED but it works somehow. It's just too hard to troubleshoot honestly. Been having nightmares with this board.

This is not my first or last Aorus Master purchased for a build. Personal build number 43. If you enjoy no excuses quality and performance, then this is the motherboard you should buy. Because of the engineering, the additional heat sinks on the VRU’s are taller than a standard board and it limits the room available for the CPU heatsink. I took the advice of others and transitioned to an AIO water cooled system. After decades of air cooling this was pleasant change.

This is a brand new product, C5 error and no video. Tried with different memory ram and nothing. I always used Intel and this time I figured I’ll give amd a try. Terrible mistake, and amazon customer support all they can help is with a refund. I need a replacement not a refund, and something that works for the price I’m paying.

So, this board has had about 8 BIOS revisions done since March of 2023, and it's still buggy beyond belief. I installed a Ryzen 7 7800x3d processor and GSkill Trident Z5 Neo RGB DDR 5 6000 RAM, which are both on the CPU and memory support lists. I flashed to the most recent BIOS, and apparently, the first set of memory modules had a bad module, because it stopped working after about a day and would not boot at all with one particular module installed, no matter how I arranged them. Worked, but did not come with a user guide. Kind of need those to identify pins on the board. Had to Google for it, and the Gigabyte site is not the first site to show up.
Like all computer peripheral companies, their website information is worthless. Kind if Apple and their stupid graphs, all presentation and marketing, no information. There is a picture of a S/PDIF connection for "Connectivity" except the board doesn't come with one. False advertising? So I have to buy an audio

This board looks and functions great. Zero complaints about it BUT that Intel 225 is junk. You’ll either get drops from a full gig to 100mbps, or the connection will just drop out intermittently for no reason. The Intel I-225v is notorious for being junk yet motherboard manufacturers still insist on using it, and in a $500 board no less. What a shame.
Returned and purchased another from the Egg site and got a Revision 1.1 of this board and no NIC issues, but I didn’t populate the M.2.c or D

Initially my new build would boot and then anywhere from a minute to 10 minutes would hard lock where removing power was the only way to boot the machine. Replace the CPU as that was the indicator from the board, no change. Swapped out power, no change. Replaced the board and was finally able to get a stable boot.
There continue to be issues with the new board. I am unable to get into BIOS / UEFI to update from 11c. If you press any key DEL, F2, or F12 the machine will not boot. I've left it

This motherboard gave me too much headache and lose money. This Master does not work 100% with Ryzen 9 3950X. I returned 2x my mobo, after I replace allllllllllll kind parts. It is piece of xit. I tonally recommend ASUS, because MSI has the worst customer support.

Gigabyte was, past tense, was one of the last to provide an actual manual, not now. You have to have two computers to build one to read the digital manual or print it out, which requires a second computer. So let's start with the pros: the board is very stable and booted up first try with the 7900x3d and was able to overclock my corsair dominator 6000 ram to 6400 first try. Any motherboard that just works and doesn't have these annoying issues is a huge Plus. The quality of the board is incredible. Plenty of heatsinks for vrm and a massive heatsink on the back of the board. Plenty of connectivity on the i/of and on the motherboard. Comes with plenty of accessories and I love how the

Delivered in great shape. Paired with a 7800x3d and Gskill Z5 CL30 ram. Flashed Bios to F11a and that stabilized everything. It was shipped with Bios F9. Be careful with that version with x3d chips. Happy I upgraded to AM5. Starfield running smooth as butter.

When using Four Sticks of memory DDR5 6000, the motherboard will drop the RAM speed down to 3600.
Even though the motherboard actually says it supports 6000 mt/speed, it does not do that.
It will drop it to 3600 speed no matter what you do. Even when going to the BIOS on the motherboard,
and turn on EXPO feature to get performance speed out of the RAM. It will reset back to OFF,
and not allow a user

This boards seems pretty decent. Using Linux.
Hardware and performance...
AM5 socket, DDR5, support for PCIE 5.0 card and two PCIE 5 nvme SSD drives (sticks) - supported by CPU. Other slots are PCIE 4/3. One slot is shared with onboard SATA port(s). The last 2 ports if I recall correctly.
HDMI, DP 1.4 from integrated video from AMD CPU.
WiFi 6E/Bluetooth 5.3, included an antenna, Ethernet 2.5 Gbps - Intel i255-V chip. That's the one I got.

Le look est agréable, mais il est plus important que cette carte soit surtout fiable et bon marché, dans mon cas elle tourne correctement depuis son achat de plusieurs mois. Les Ssd peuvent bcp chauffer. Overclocking assez moyen concernant la mémoire RAM. Rapport qualité prix assez moyen

Very Solid board, better build quality than any board I've owned yet. Solid VRM, etc.
BIOS (F21a at time of review) is still a little janky, more than a year since release, but this seems common with AM5 boards in general.
For this price, I expected 10GB LAN (only comes with 2.5GB) and more PCIEX options (that do not conflict with SATA ports - the conflict is documented in the manual).
Main reason for 3 stars - the CMOS battery came dead, which makes every hardware change a pain in the ass

This board was a reversal of many years of computer building for me. I normally build a monster HEDT system that does everything for me. Lately though I have been building more and more purpose built computers for each task. My files now live on a 256TB truenas server and my rendering is handled by a HPE dl580 packing 1TB of ram and two 7900XTX's. Gigabyte was, past tense, was one of the last to provide an actual manual, not now. You have to have two computers to build one to read the digital manual or print it out, which requires a second computer. The board is advertised as having an audio chipset that supports both 5.1 & 7.1 speaker system. I didn't even think to check how many 3.5mm audio jacks were on the back I/O. Two (2) is all you get. | Brand new and faulty from the box | 07.03.2024
Had the board for almost a year now, and it never ran right. Always had a cyclical boot where it would fail the first boot and then work after it auto restarted. Was over all very slow and any changes to the bios would more often than not just crash the pc. My inexperience made me think it was my fault. But no, after it crashed this week after a simple restart, it blue screened. I took it in to a pc repair shop and was informed the board was just straight up faulty after they did some

| Save your money and don't buy this | 06.03.2024
I have been building PCs for 15 years, never in my life experienced a worst Mobo than this one. It started with not recognizing my 7950x. that was sorted by BIOS update. Noticed that the PC taking forever to boot, thought it was memory learning thing. Then to my disappointment it died by itself after 3 days of operation.
I am very much feel dejected. I could have purchased better mobos for lower prices but because I like GIGABYTE I decided to go with this. I did some googling and to my surprise
