Been looking for one of these for ages as all the other models Cut the sandwich in half. Found that using toast size bread ideal. I like to spread olive oil over the sides of the bread that lies against the hot plates then using a dessert spoon depress the slice of bread once it is position on the hot plate so as to hold a raw egg in place. (Medium to small eggs best).I would have preferred a slightly larger toaster but this was the only one I could find in the category I was looking for.

Bit fiddly to clean, be great if grill pans could be removed but it is a sandwich toaster. Best thing by far is it doesn't slice bread into triangles, been looking for a sandwich toaster for years that doesn't. Definitely recommend.

Just 3 stars because it is not big enough for two slices of bread. Also, it does not close properly, sometimes I need to hold it myself to make sure the sandwiches are done properly.

Have been searching for a sandwich maker for ages that doesn’t cut the sandwich in half ! This one is perfect! You can make deep filled toasties andcas it doesn’t cut the sandwich in half you can even put an egg into the sandwich and it cooks it perfectly!

I purchased this for one reason only and that's to cook egg toasties which it does very well in just 3mins.This is the second one which was sent as a replacement as the first one was a smoker with smoke coming out rear where the power cable goes in and it smelt of burning plastic so it had to be returned.Note: even this replacement smoked for a short while when first plugged in but it soon stopped unlike the previous one.In use it's quick and simple, just butter the outside of your bread

I prefer toasties which are flat (i.e. not in triangles) and this one does the job perfectly, with added toasting lines which make it look even better. It heats up quickly, toasts quickly. I like the overall design and the materials used are of good quality. Very happy with it.PS - the standard toastie bread might be a bit too large for it, depending on brand. In that case I either trim the bread, or put it in sideways one toastie at a time.

A toastie maker that is the correct size for bread. Unlike many other toastie makers, the bread does not hang out of the sides or ends of this machine. It fits perfectly. This means you get minimal spillage, and a toastie that is toasted to the edges. One top toastie maker.

Das toastergebniss ist in Ordnung.Was zu bemängeln ist,daß die Ränder vom Toast nich geschlossen sind. Dadurch läuft der Käse am anderen Ende herraus.

Der Sandwich-Toaster macht einen guten Eindruck, auch die Beschichtung, der Toast wird goldbraun und auch mit etwas mehr Füllung klappt es gut. Würde wieder kaufen. Praktisch das der Toast nicht mittig geteilt wird, so kann man mehr Füllung nehmen.

Endlich ein Toaster, der ganz normale, gute, Käsetoasts machen kann. Es läuft nichts aus und das Gerät ist einfach zu reinigen. Es stört mich nicht, dass man einfach den Stecker ziehen muss, wenn das Toast fertig ist. Dafür ist dieses Produkt auch günstig. Habe bereits zwei weitere DOMO Sandwichmaker als Geschenke nachgekauft (die Beschenkten sind begeistert).

ich habe Jahrelang einen sehr alten sandwichtoaster benutzt und war auch sehr zufrieden damit aber nun war die beschichtung gerade in der mitte wo die brote beim backen geteilt wurden ab und alles klebte fest also habe ich mich nach einem umgesehen der nicht in der mitte teilt oder besser gesagt dreiecke macht und ich wurde absolut nicht enttäuscht,er backt sehr schnell,selten fliesst mal käse aus und die brote schmecken klasse.Auch anfangs kaum rgeruch vom plastik oder so,ich bin rundum

Wir wollten unbedingt wieder einen Sandwichmaker, der die Sandwiches nicht in der Mitte durchteilt. Unseren letzen haben wir nach etwas über einem Jahr weggeworfen, da die Beschichtung trotz regelmäßiger Pflege hinüber war. War allerdings auch ein Billigprodukt.Nun ist dieser hier zwar auch kein Premiumprodukt und mit ca. 20,- auch recht günstig, bis jetzt sind wir aber sehr zufrieden. Das Gerät unterscheidet sich von den anderen Anbietern, weil es die Toastscheiben ganz läßt und keine Toast-Ecken herstellt.Wer Sandwiches mit Ecken herstellt, weiß was ich meine: Die Dreiecke werden so klein, dass ständig die Füllung herausquillt und den Bratraum verunreinigt. Kabel viel zu kurz, man muss Verlängerung benutzen um überhaupt an eine Steckdose anzuschließen.Käse läuft heraus(obwohl nur eine Scheibe pro Sandwich).Gebrauchsanweisung war nicht auf Deutsch, alles in allem ein totaler Fehlkauf.

Ich kann nur abraten dieses absolut billige Elektrogerät zu kaufen. Es stinkt extrem nach Kunstoff (Lösemittel?). Beim ersten Einschalten dachte ich es brennt ab, so hat es gequalmt und gestunken. Müsste eigentlich mit 0 Sternen bewertet werden.

Den bekam ich irgendwann von meinem Bruder vererbt und es war wohl einer der 1. Generationen, denn irgendwann war die Beschichtung hin und die Sandwichs blieben kleben. Macht was er soll!Teilt die Toasts nicht in der Mitte in zwei Dreiecke. Hat ein starkes Metallgelenk am Deckel. Der Verschluss wirkt weniger stabil, ist er aber. Da schlägt vermutlich wieder der Preis zu.Insgesamt super! Geht besser mit den Großen Toastscheiben...

Obwohl ich das Gerät erst vor kurzem gekauft habe, wurde es von meinen Kindern schon oft benutzt.Unser vorheriger Sandwichmaker teilte noch die Toasts.Was dieser nicht macht und wir von daher sehr begeistert sind.Es dauert auch nicht lange bis das Toast fertig ist.Schön knusprig und lecker.Einen Aus- Einschaltknopf hat er nicht, was mein Vorgänger auch nicht hatte.Was aber nicht Negativ sein muss, so zieht man den Stecker wenn man fertig ist und ist auf der sicheren Seite.Man braucht nur kurz
