Item doesn’t lock! I called the manufacturer per Amazon suggestion. Customer service was rude, before I finish my conversation, cut me off & said we are not involve in this, call Amazon!!!!! Runaround.

Handle slip off and an awkward locking clip, but they hold up ok, to heavy every day use. Please Wiss glue your handles or dip them.

Glue the handles and the lock/hook is a real encumbrance. But there pointing if your into that and hold up to regular use and some lite abuse.

These don't come close to cutting 18 guage steel for anything longer than about 1/2" long cuts. I have to use both hands with work gloves to cut (and I have strong hands). The steel wont bend upwards to clear the scissor and bends the bottom side down. I doubt it would work on 20 guage, but might work on 22 guage.
I ended up using my 4" pneumatic abrasive cutter for my project.
They work great for duct, thin sheet metal, and thin plastic.

I wish I knew about this product sooner...but it saves a lot of strength to cut metals. I used to use Wiss heavy duty scissor to do the metal job but this is THE right tool.

Great value for the prices. I use them doing sheet metal work in aviation. I have the left and right ones too which are probably close to 10 years old and they still hold up wonderfully look forward to using these for years.

This was a great little tool that we used for a few odd jobs. Then suddenly one of the shears broke off. Such a bummer. Can’t figure out how to get support. We have only had it a year and would think it would have lasted longer.

I use these for work and I've learned if a tool at work, holds up and does the job you need it to do, it needs to be ordered and put in the home tool box. This brand is top notch. Its also very close in price to the ones made in that other country. This cuts so much more than metal, and it does it with ease.

They are great. Although I hate to admit it, just in case someone else doesn’t pay attention, the screws are just to be loosened, not removed. I was just twisting away, and it was taking forever, then I realized the screws were not keeping the cutters on the packaging 🤦🏾♀️. But I have carpal tunnel issues and these cut like butter. Will definitely keep them in my kit.

I didn't have the proper tool to cut a bunch of fairly heavy wire mesh, so I ordered these cutters/snips. They cut the wire mesh like a hot knife through butter (OK, a bit of an exaggeration, but they worked like a charm). This tool is well made and fairly heavy. The quality is excellent. Wish I would have bought this tool years ago!

So I’m training to be a ceiling fixer and heard these are the best ones to use so I got these and they spring feels like it don’t push back very well and I’ve used these on site for 7 days in total so not great

Just needed to loosen a bolt near the top and the work brilliantly 🙏🏼

I like how easily these cut the metal screen I bought them for. I have also chosen them for snipping our two-inch catio netting to size, a repetitive task that makes you really appreciate that these spring open after each cut, so unlike my other snips, I don't have to nudge them back open after every cut. It really makes it easier.

Finally! A safe and easy way to dispatch those pesky metal credit cards. Wish I'd known about this before I broke my credit card shredder. I have arthritis in my hands and I was easily able to use these to cut up those cards.

my most cherished (and used) yard tool | 2023-08-24
We converted our yard into a wildlife haven 10 years ago. I have squirrel feeders, opossum habitats, raccoon swings, bird-protection netting, etc.
I cut materials all the time: sisal twine and rope; jute netting; metal wire; metal screen.
I use it to open overly-taped shipping boxes and while bundling-up cardboard for recycling.
I will use it as defense if someone tries to inject graphene into me or takes away my 2nd Amendment right/rite.

I always use wiss snips as quality is spot on an usual last a while but these ones where shocking, the bolt was tight and snips didn't spring back, like trying to cut a rock with a bread knife, loosened the bolt and goes straight back to tight again after first cut, probably moved manufacture to China like most companies

Title says it all, what I couldn't cut with these new ones I could cut with the ones I have had for 40 years. If you can find a pair at a garage sale or something buy them, don't waste your money on these that won't cut what the old ones will.

Make quick work of shear metal. Use these snips to cut everything, and they are still sharp. Essential tool in my handy tool bag.
Most importantly, they are made in the USA and demonstrate that this country can still make quality, long lasting products.

These M3R shears have a non-slip serrated jaw made from molybdenum steel, which holds material to be cut firmly to ensure that cutting force is applied evenly, producing a cleaner cut. The ergonomic handles ensure comfort when using these shears, with an integrated hanging hook for tool organisation.
