I am always sceptical about item's made in India, but was very pleased with the quality of this saber. The balance is nice and the fit and Finnish is good(some tool marks on the brass guard, thats why only 4 stars).Good quality control from cold steel, this is my second saber from them. Scabard is heavy duty and well made, good fit and Finnish, good job cold steel.

This Napoleon Saber by Cold Steel is by far one of the finest examples of this era(1830) that can be obtained in the reproduction market without the sting of an antique price. The construction is flawless it moves in hand with the quickness and smoothness that is a true tribute to the original function. I have tested it in the field and carefully oiled and placed it in an honored position in my collection.
Worth every penny that I paid for it!
